I run MP0 with Hellfire Ring and Leoric's Ring for paragon farming.

    Some calculations, on paper:

The "Base Exp/Hr" can be adjusted to whatever value, and is irrelevant for this comparison.

The numbers assume that one can maintain similar clear times using Exp Gear on MP0 as using Regular (Combat) Gear on higher MP. This is possible, considering that monsters have 225%/457% HP on MP2/4, and do more damage.

Again, this is applicable for someone who clears MP0 (w/ Exp Gear) around the same time that it takes to clear higher MP (w/ Regular Gear). The actual numbers will be different for everyone.

The beauty of the efficiency of MP0 in Exp Gear is that you can also get other mods that are beneficial for farming - mods which one typically may not want in our Regular Gear. For example, my Exp Gear provides 39-yard pick-up radius, and close to maxes me out on MF/GF.

You will win with your max bid in the event that someone bids a lower amount that is less than a 5% difference from your bid.

In your example, you would've won with your max bid if someone bids between 2,380,952 and 2,500,000. It's not unlikely that someone else bid 2,500,000, which is a nice round number, but you won since you placed the bid first.

In your friend's example, someone probably bid a little over 200k to try to win, but less than 224,500.

The "current bid" shown may not necessarily be what someone actually bid, which can be more.
