lol guys use your brain and google, you can download D3 RoS early Beta binaries from ownedcore.

I wouldn't trust a filebeam URL especially one coming from ownedcore. There are direct download links you can get that use the same CDN servers Blizzards uses and have been uploaded by Blizzard.

This links comes from very trusted Elite User from ownedcore. He uploads D3 binaries from PC early Beta (0.2.0 I think).

Download links are .zip files not .exe, it's 100% trusted.

posted a message on Should AH's be removed from Diablo 3?
    Quote from Bagstone

Sigh... this has been mentioned before *in this thread*.

Better drops will just shift the entire economy, but they will not solve any problems.

An example: 8 months ago every single Witching Hour was worth a fortune. 4 months ago a WH was available for about 50-100m. Now you get a WH almost for free.

What changes is just the price tag for a specific range of affixes. Right now an EF can roll 700-1300 DPS, and it's worth 1m to 10b (or so). if you change the EF to roll 1100-1300 DPS, the 1100 EF will be worth 1m, but nothing will change; players will still strive for gear that is better, and pay 100m for 1200 DPS. And the price tag for top items will go up as long as there is no effective gold sink (see highest item purchase last summer 1.5b, highest item purchase November 14b, and you see where it's headed).

Please, someone with a degree in economics or so explain this or just link to the Wikipedia page. Improving item quality across the board does not change anything except the affix range players are looking for.

But AH haters and selfound players dont care AH prices no? with more quality items drops, this players will be happy. Economy always go down, only new items patches and expansions and start again.

Improving drop QUALITY not QUANTITY is a nice fix for gameplay. Prices will going down but players could play without AH, and only top players/elitists will use AH. And with more affixes combinations not only trifectas AH will be nice too.
Yeah. I meant drop quality as well.
Higher drop quality = increase of droprates for high quality items. Same thing. The result is more quality items that can be placed on AH => Lower prices on said items.

Unfortunately I doubt that just because it becomes easier to find useful items in-game that people will stop using AH. What matters to people is how much easier it is to use AH than to play the game. Which will be unchanged.

That doesn't mean item droprates shouldn't increase, it just isn't enough on its own. Very far from it even.

But with more quality, droprates will go down and with all new low level legendaries rolls to monster level and more useful affixes, AH and gameplay will be balance.

Only problem will be yellow items, with new legendaries yellows are useless.

Better droprates on their own will change nearly nothing in this regard. It would only drive prices down on AH, leaving us with the same benefits of using AH over finding your own items as now.

Improving drop QUALITY not QUANTITY is a nice fix for gameplay. Prices will going down but players could play without AH, and only top players/elitists will use AH. And with more affixes/low level legendaries improvements combination AHs would be useful too.

More quality drops = better gameplay experience.

Low level legendaries improvements and more useful affixes = better AH.

Removal in game features is not a valid option, It's against players freedom and players dont want it, only fixes (drop quality not quantity) and improvements (more legendaries and affixes).

Both AHs should remain as is, this game only needs higher drops quality and more items/better rolls combination. This will balance AH and gameplay.

In a perfect world you could certainly accomplish to make both a good game and good trading options, but I'm not sure it's doable in ours.

Good trading options = Both AHs

We need only a good game. Stop nonsense and nondemocratic "remove AH" idea. People dont want removements, only fixes and improvements.

Yes i always try to look at alternatives. Ofcourse theres a way AH could work, but they need to think out how, and doing that will probably take alot of time, therefor its easier to shut it down than start finding out how they could make all parts happy.

I was for having a auction house at the beginning before release tho i thought it would work out well, but after seeing how they did, its not working out well. They need to remove that you are bound to use auction house to be any good and for a normal players perspective for those who can't play 10 hours+ a day. Something like D2 timeline how you got better and better i think would work, atleast it did work pretty well there i think.

But, if they fixed it quickly like higher the item drops and still have AH = Botters and those who use AH like mini-game would start whining like hell about that no one buys there items for high price.. Thats one of the problems they need to sort out then. They have developers that should be working of this kind of things i hope..

But, the game still isn't "good" (Its good compared to some games today) and they still could get much much more out of it after that.

Improvement of end-gaming is a big thing they need to fix, maybe some new/more content and alternative ways to farm, i liked the old way killing bosses with other guys doing baalruns. But hey, thats just me, and with that said, i haven't said that i hate the current form, just that it should be more ways.

Godly, BiS and almost perfect roll items will be expensive (2b+ or 150€+) and hard to find ALWAYS with/without higher drops or AH. And mid range BiS items (very nice rolls) will have high prices too, 1b-2b or 60-150€.

This items always will sell for high prices, before and after itemization patch.

PS. For me the worst thing in the "classic" trading system found in D2 and PoE is that trading takes so much time. I realize that it forces the player to really think what he should try to sell and what to scrap but still it just takes away too much of your time which really should be spent playing the game instead of browsing the forums.

That's the point, though. You don't NEED to trade. If the game rewards you when you play it (i.e., you get the drops you need), why do you need to trade?

Game without trading, buy/sell tools(AH) or gold? GL with your idea, players DON'T WANT this... We want freedom for trading, buy/sell and play the game. Game mechanics, drops or end game are the real problem.

We want fixes not remove in game features. We are in a democracy not in North Korea.
