Just test it. My experience is that if you re-fresh the trap you need to wait the detonation time again. Only 1 trapper monster is possible.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

I would say that the key lies in having good AoE and not panicking. Try to position yourself to hit as many as possible and make the kills per hatred as high as possible =)Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

there will be quite some threads in the beginning asking for builds but the truth will be that it will depend on your drops. I've had a Andariel's visage drop that increases my fire damage with 16% and a pair of bracers with +10% fire damage. With this I also found boots that increase the Chakram damage so I choose that one. With this I also found a legendary chest that gives me 2 extra wolf companions (crazy AoE). I switched basically all my skills to fire dmg and T2 is really smooth and with rain of vengeance, some bombs, popping my companion for the dmg increase and spamming Chakrams, I can end a group of blues in about 5 seconds.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

The Future of MF & GF in Paragon 2.0, Diablo 2 Battle Chest for $4.99, Patch 1.0.2 is Now Live on Xbox 360 As Wellposted a message onPosted in: News & AnnouncementsQuote from hmyz
Even if they decide to count dead chars experience towards your paragon level, if they announce it now - i'm pretty sure there will be people that will use all the time they have till release to level & suicide naked HC characters giving them those extra 100lvl worth of experience. This way they'll have a huge advantage at the expansion start.
I don't think that's how it will work. Playing with any character will increase the XP towards paragon levels for the account. The question is: should the XP that one character have gathered be removed from the account when it dies?
There will be no benefits to dying with your character unless you can't create more characters and have to kill one off that's on plvl 100 (perhaps that's what you meant).

You're a couple months late to the Bombardment-is-beast train :P but yes, the skill is insanely powerful now.
Now if only they buffed Multishot as well to be on par with Spike Traps and Rapid Fire, then we'd have a pretty sick Multishot
Glad to see you're having some fun again
Yes, I realize I'm late. Haven't played D3 the last few months and just got back to find this wonderful ability

I've mainly only played 2 different builds with Demon hunter, I'm very conservative. The first build I had what the Nether-build before the nerf because it was just awesome . the Second build was simply replacing Elemental arrow with Multishot a very yummy skill for low MPs and I've run that like for ever...Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
A few times, I've tried the higher MP levels but with little success and I was reading topics here on Diablofans that "DH is dead", "DH needs a boost, we're so weak" and I was convinced that was the case.
I've been able to run MP2-3 pretty smoothly but any higher and I loose all bang for my buck with Multishot.
With the update of Rapid fire I thought that it was nice with such a single target skill. I had totally forgotten about bombardment!!!
Rapid Fire - Bombardment together with Bola shot (and whatever rune that does arcane dmg ^^) and MP7 went really smooth and I was able to tank most elit packs even with 2-3 stacks of desecration under my feet, using gloom (I should also add that I have only about 200-250 AR). Been farming VoA for DE for a while now and loving it.
As mentioned above, I've been very... chicken for trying new specs but I have to say, it showed very rewarding. Just thought I'd share that lovely experience.
It might be that my build now once again shows Multishot but that's because I did some XP/loot farming last night

I think it would be cool and totally unexpected if the next character in D3 was in fact an actual demon. A Bestial Hulk once serving Azmodan as a lieutenant turned by an archangel during an intensive fight. The demon would be a strength-based class but with powerful demonic attacks. Remember, you heard it here first! ;)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I suspect that he chose that phrase because of the irony of that being said by a Blizzard employee. It doesn't have to mean that he doesn't like D3. =P
