Having played the console version for a few weeks now I have to say, I am all for the soulbound ideas. Trading becomes a moot issue when you find everything you need and then some. Heck, I have nothing that anybody needs because they too are finding everything they need! When everybody's needs are met by self found gaming, then trading becomes a thing of the past.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Yes, it is possible. But the real question is: Why are you playing with people who drift far from the group? If you miss a leg because of that then I would not play in that particular group.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

It's not available to all but PayPal is the easiest way. Cashing out by using a friend is possible too but that requires some trustworthy friends...Quote from ShebnumiHow do plan on cashing out your B.net balance? Just curious, seeing as there is no direct way to do so.

Longest time I had to wait was 6 days. Ticket was put in and by the time they got to it I had already received my item. Zuni boots that would have been helpful the day I bought them... Having to wait sucks sometimes.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Happens all the time. If you have any items for sale in the AH, you can cancel them out and your purchases might populate in the completed tab. If you do not, you will have to wait a while and they will eventually appear.... Someday.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

If I was not busy watching paint dry I would definitely take the time to watch you play but with the new house and all... I am swamped!Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
GL with the HC character!

The one thing I would say is trust your gut. Consider that there is a level progression for each act but that is not nearly as prevalent as it is when you hit Inferno. Keep in mind that the first three levels may be tough but the wall you hit in Inferno is more like a pre-1.04 patch D3 and can be like hitting your head on a wall. Take it slow; give weapons and armor that you would have otherwise discarded in SC a chance in HC. Heck, when I found one, I used a Sever with CD on it just because in Act III and IV, the bonus damage to Demons was a win/win for me. Remember, red gems are your friends in weapons as hard damage trumps CD/CC when at low levels. Also, stay away from public games where you are not familiar with the people. Too many horror stories of folks jumping into games and getting insta-gibbed due to people AFK or dragging baddies into safe zones. Never happened here but reading these forums tells me it is a danger to avoid like the plague.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion

Your story completely encapsulates the reason I have stopped playing SC and completely moved over to HC. The intensity is pure bliss and with each character I roll, I look forward to the rush of adrenalin when coming up against some devastating champ packs and elites.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion

It makes no sense at all.
Getting your panties in a bunch over a 5 day difference for a patch release seems to make less sense. It's marketing. You are a customer that has already paid for the game. You have already secured a profit for Blizzard. Now they are tossing a bone to the console community and at the same time giving you that same bone just a few days later. Please, there has got to be something else in this world that bothers you more than this... Right?
Stating something for what it is doesn't mean I'm losing sleep over it. I'm stating the rediculousness for what it is.
If my words show a strong firmness it is because that's how I phrase. How I put things doesn't tell you how much of my life is being consumed.
Also, you mention 5 days, show me where this timeline is lol
I would argue that your actions speak louder and that writing a post bearing an irritation towards Blizzard for a hypothetical and minute span of time between the console release with itemization and the PC release of an itemization patch would say you are a bit more upset than you would have us believe.
As for the timeline, I was taking your hypothetical and extending that to my own argument to how silly it would be to get your panties in a bunch over such a silly issue.
Console release Nov 3
Blizzcon Nov 8-9
PC 1.0.9 release is after Blizzcon

People still craft those things? Thought that fad died a few months ago...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
