    Monk of Sader. I do think the blessed hammer build will be competitive. I don't even main Sader and with Crap gear from PTR I can solo GR 52 with lightning hammer build. Also, I think other builds are now more viable because of the cube.

    I agree with demon, but it still feels this way. Nats set, 6piece WW, Carnevil, tals, every class only has one viable set. I wish it weren't this way. I was hoping this patch would buff delsere's and firebirds a bit so they can compete and do something to buff the barbs leap quake set. That was a fun build. Oh well... :/

    It appears to be competitive as far as Grift level clears with DOD so I don't have a huge problem with it just yet, but we will see what happens down the line. I think all of the damage dealing skills for the WD still need to be looked at again. Zombie Bears and Acid cloud are both incredibly fun to use, and I want them to be great and powerful in the end game. I love pets, but I also love the oddity of the WD damage dealers. So I would like to see this buffed a bit.

    This is not true. There is a very large crowd of people that are playing Non Seasons. Look for clan Storm which is one clan of many that are apart of EOS. They are all Non Seasons and farm GR55-65 pretty regularly.

    Correct. I think for the build any gesture of Orpheous is quite good because it reduces the cool down enough to spam the bubble after casting magic missile or shock pulse just a few times. Even the new gesture with 35% or w/e slow time CDR is helpful. Yes it takes the damage of your highest elemental damage % totaled. So in my specific case, I have 19% arcane on my gesture, 20% on bracers, and 19% on my tals ammy. Slow time when cast costs 0 AP and does a significant amount of damage plus whatever rune you are using and its utility. Slowing projectiles if you are aware of them is also quite helpful. Slow time with deslere's/tals procs the arcane element on your tals, it procs arcane meteor, and it does a ton of damage in its own right.

    I wasn't trying to dismantle your build, I like your build :D I also encourage experimentation and I would love it if TR6 SerpentSparker builds will not be the only viable highend group setups. I hope we get to play with other weapons too, not only that damn wand that I can't get to drop as ancient ^^ . I was just amazed by that GR69+ number.


    I admit I only played TR-DMO hybrids in solo rifts, I never tested them in a group. CoE is great as a ring for these builds, but I do find that elemental rotation a bit limiting, since we don't get to do our burst damage when we want it, but when the ring permits us to.

    It's hard for me to tell what you are working with because I am on my phone. But, you need an ancient gesture of Orpheous of the element that you use. I personally rune arcane with a pre 2.2 gesture just so slow time does way more damage.

    I disagree with you BDF. I think it might be more powerful.


    desleres pants, shoulders, gloves. Tals ammy, belt, chest, Orb, and helm. RROG, convention of elements. And last, but certainly not least, an ancient arcane Gesture of Orpheous. (I was lucky enough to get one pre 2.2 with 70% slow time CDR) so one magic missile fire resets the cool down. (I use 20% arcane damage, 7%ias, 6%CC, 499int steady strikers. And the new meteor boots.


    Skills and benefits:


    Slow time. Let me just explain to everyone who doesn't understand. Slow time reduces the movement speed of all monsters inside. Slow Ike reduces projectile speed of all projectiles, slow time (point of new return) stuns all mobs going in or out of the bubble for 3 seconds, slow time deals 2000% damage per second + the 600% dmg boost from tap rashas and the 60% or more boost from arcane % on gear means slow time ticks for 500m on all mobs. With convention of elements, when arcane rolls around, that 500m tick becomes 1,000,000,000 per second. Slow time also procs tals 6 piece for a stack every time you cast it, slow time also procs arcane meteor from tals every 8 seconds, and best of all slow time costs 0 AP. (if I am with a group I use 15% dmg boost rune)


    Hydra Mammoth Hydra. The dmg is good, big AOE, adds a stack to tals 6piece and procs Fire meteor, and best of all, only costs 15AP.


    Magic Missile Glacial spike: Does AOE so procs AP on crit well, dmg is "okay" for a signature spell, freezes all mobs 100% of the time on hit the first time. And procs cool down reductions for slow time. Also, procs cold meteor and tals cold stack.


    Meteor Thunder Crash: Procs Lightning meteor, adds stack to tals 6 piece, and it hits instantly on cast, after getting 4 stacks and you have full AP, spam this skill for burst dmg.


    Energy Armor Prismatic Armor: Good for toughness, period.


    Magic Weapon: I go back and fourth, solo I prefer deflection rune for the added toughness, with groups I choose Force Armor


    passives: Blur, elemental exposure, prodigy, astral presence



    I can do GR54 solo with tals serpent spark build and focus/restraint, but survivability is a nightmare. I can do GR 54 with tals desleres solo quite easily because of the CC. After 54 I can't figure out how to survive against jailer lol. But this tals deslere combo I can do GR54 solo in 13-14 minutes, and GR 69+ with groups. This is a fantastic combo and slow time has so much utility, incredibly high damage, procs everything for you, and costs 0 AP so starpAct can still hit like a truck. Once I ancient all my pieces and get. Better tals ammy, I think this will be the best spec in the game for Wiz.

    I am having success in grift 50-51 solo with tals + DMO, but my set up is quite a bit different than yours. I am using a pre 2.2 ancient gesture of Orpheus. So slow time CD -70% and 19% arcane. I stacked all arcane damage since slow time will be doing damage over the longest period of time + it benefits star pact. So I use Slow time with "point of no return rune" for solo and "15% damage boost" for groups. I use mammoth or blazing hydra for fire (blazing ticks for much higher vs single target, so I'm starting to like to more and more). Magic missile Glacial spike for cold damage, built in Cc, AOe so it procs AP on crit often, and it reduces the cool down on time warp. And I use lightning meteor rune for lighting damage. I use prismatic armor, though at high Grifts I do wonder if force armor might be better for me. I use magic weapon force weapon for 20% dmg. For passives I use Blur, elemental exposure, prodigy, and ancestral power or w/e (the one that gives AP and AP regen). I love this set up, I really do. I need an ancient tals orb, a better tals amulet, and a better convention of elements (min is only 154%). Once I have those 3 things I feel confident in doing 53-55 Grifts solo

At first I was excited to hear that I can choose any rune and change my elemental type, but I don't know how to survive without the % life on crit whirlwind rune sol Gr50+ without that life restoration.... Anyone else had luck passed 50 without bloodlust rune or whatever it is called?

    IMO the most fun spec is 3 piece Delsere's with 5 piece tals and RROG/Convention of Elements. Stack Arcane damage and use an Ancient Gesture of Orpheus Arcane % If you can get your hands on one. Delsere's bubble with 3 second stun is awesome when you are solo. If you are in a group use the 15% damage boost version. with 4 piece bonus of delsere's and tals 4 stacks Time Warp ticks for 300m and when the Arcane buff from convention of elements is on that doubles. Time warp also adds a stack to your tals (counts as an arcane spell), it also procs the arcane meteor while using NO Arcane power, and it slows down enemy missile affects making them easier to avoid. It also applies cold/slow debuff for your Bane of the Trapped ring. Overall the utility is fantastic. I wish there was a way to use the all slow time runes helm with these combo, but alas there is not. Anyway with this build I use Magic Missile Glacial spike, AOE does okay damage, and has some CC. Procs cold meteor and gives back AP on crit since it hits many targets. Lightning Crash rune for meteor to spam meteors, Mammoth Hydra just for the fire damage and the fact that hydra only costs 15 AP. Your Arcane damage comes from slow time. I can push Grift 50 solo with this build and easily do 55+ with groups.

    I don't understand what you are referring to Bigbazz? If you use WOTB during the physical buff, how does that give you two rotations of the physical buff? And why would you want to use Rend during the lightning buff? Most people that use Rend use the physical rune.
