I was farming my butt off days before the patch hoping to either get the actual Mark to drop or find an epic drop to fund the Mark. I got the epic drop and then the Mark doubled in price overnight. I was devastated. I had the Head and body piece drop and roll with 1 and 3 sockets respectively, so i didn't have to shell out any for those. Helm is missing crit chance, but I can't gripe about that, Helm with CC and socket is just unaffordable now. Boots lack dex as well, but that maybe in line for upgrade next, we'll see.
I agree, buying this Mark is the best choice I made in d3. But, I actually don't farm with it on, as I lose both MF and DPS. Weird, right? But its still awesome to see it on your finger or stash every time you fire the game up.
Well, I bought the Mark. About the other pieces, I had them for months. I think I made the right choice. I read the set 4 bonus wrong, and thought it was 2 disc/per sec, but its actually 2 additional for a total of 3. Oh man, so OP. I'll take any dps lost for this.
I have around 450 hours of playtime under my belt. Was going to buy Nat's mark 3 days before 1.0.4 until forums leaked the set change and the price sky rocketed overnight. Was back at square one but now have saved up enough again for the pricier Nat's Mark. But now the question is, is it worth it?
I'm on the US servers and its currently going for 70 million for the most entry level Mark. My current maxed out DPS without sharpShooter is 89k with 225 MF base. My current main weapon is a 1204 dps crossbow, 131dex, open socket which i have a 90% crit emerald on it. Am's and rings are standard, dec, crit damage, crit chance, no IAS (trifecta upgrade would be nice). Dex at this setting is around 2020.
With Nat's set I lose Dex, dPs and MF but having that mark seems like an itch in my back. I've missed out on it so many times and now that it doesn't drop, it makes me want it more. Illogical, i know. With 70 million I can upgrade several pieces in my gear and easily shoot my dps over 100k without sharpshooter, BUT this ring will still loom over me. What should i do?

2. Crit damage
There's a lot you can upgrade just depends on your gold.
I would get rid of AR and just go straight glass cannon with lots of dscipline bonus.
