EDIT: Despite the ambiguous link text, both confirm they are NOT working on anything Diablo related.

posted a message on Would you play season 7 (or any season) if no stash tab given?

No. I wouldn't of played last season either but I'll play next season too get the 10th stash tab.

I'm not done with D3, just finding it a little stale right now.

posted a message on QuinFans ???

I don't see what the issue is, ignoring butthurt.

Quin has a small tab link at the top of the page, big deal. All the other builds are still available from the front page, using the dynamic search (class, time created etc) which is far more noticeable than one small link. As for build visibility, most people will look at more than one build for their spec / set, especially during season (GR solo, GR group, TX speed etc), so your builds are getting looked at. The reason Quin's builds are rated as top is due to, on the most part, they contain solid information but also he's a very popular streamer, he's gonna get more people looking at his builds because of this.. more views equals more upvotes. If you can't stand loosing a popularity contest on the internet then gee... I don't know...

I understand some people here aren't getting their build questions answered, but Quin says in his videos "the best way to get your questions answered is come to my stream and ask", are the people moaning doing that? And to be honest, there's a wealth of Diablo 3 resources out there, I use Diablo Reddit quite often, maybe try and find the answer yourself before having a meltdown?

I wonder if the OP and other people complaining would be crying so hard if Quin had his own build section, but his builds weren't included in the front page widget / search? You know, because then OP's builds would be "top" and then everything would be right in the world....

posted a message on Warglaives of Azzinoth

As an ex-WoW Junkie (clean since Cataclysm - Firelands) there are a lot of WoW items / transmogs I'd like to see, Warglaives being top of the list. Sadly, I think the major issue would be animations / model clipping and would require reworking and sadly, I don't think Blizz would put that much effort in to D3 for 1 item. If they were swords, the animations would just look odd, if they were fist weapons it'd not be as bad, but it would be a shame to limit them to monks only.. and I mostly play monk. mostly.

The Bulwark of Azzinoth on the other hand would be easy, Frostmourne would look good too, the standard DK rune blade you get as you run through the DK intro quests. Edge of Agony is another good one.. all of these would be pretty easy to introduce. I don't think we'll ever see any though, I now have a firm feeling that D3 is like Blizzard unwanted step-child compared to it's other games

posted a message on Can we henceforth land on a max group vs solo xp level? - 15-20x the XP for group players is simply wrong.

I genuinely believe that one of the reasons group play is so much more rewarding than solo play is due to backend infrastructure.

We all know the D3 backend struggles at periods of high usage. 4 players in one game, as opposed to 4 players in 4 games, is much easier on the servers even though multi-player adversely affects client side performance in some cases.

Group play gets XP bonus, item drop bonus and is an easier playstyle.. shit, you can coast / get carried quite easily even in public games. If solo play was as rewarding and worthwhile, more people would solo which would lead to far greater server problems.

posted a message on Finished my journey :D

    HI guys,

gratz to everyone that's already completed their journey!

I have some questions about TX in <3mins. I am a solo player, no clan or public games..

    1) Is it possible to clear solo with U6 (variant) monk? See char below, I cube madstone to get palms up faster & 1 hit from gen to keep bastion of will buffs up, skipping elites unless they get caught in the cross fire, using movement speed rune instead of dodge rune on dashing strike.

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Khanate-2202/hero/64471829

    2) What class / spec is best for attempting solo? Multishot DH? Chicken WD?

    3) Is there a good chance of completing this achieve in a PUG / public game group?

Also @The Zeph, I found U6&BP monk to be much slower than "crit on gear" items for normal rifts. About 55+ it can be good but only if you lack some toughness

    Many thanks

Paragon helps, but it's not all that makes a difference. Sure you can see a big boost if you're paragon 1K+, but it's really rare for a legitimate player to get there in a season (especially solo).

    Well yes thats true,
but why do the guys play solo? I mean its that easy to reach high paragon within a group. Diablo3 is not mentioned for 100% solo play in my opinion. If you don't have a decend clan, there is always the possibility of several ingame communitys where you can find good players to compete with.

I play solo becuase I like to play in my own pace and I enjoy that playstyle. Sure, I don't get as much XP and I'm not playing the game efficiently (lol), who cares? =P
If someone is aiming to top ranks they should be well informed enough to join a group, otherwise just let ppl play the way they want to.
Back on topic a bit: I've got about 100h played and reached paragon 500 (all solo play, Demon Hunter), several ancient pieces but I'm still pushing higher and higher grifts (managed grift 56 yesterday) so personally, I've easily got another 100h to play this season, on the same character. Then I guess I have an equal amount to play if I pick a new character to play.
I also play solo for the same reasons, think I've done 2-3 co-op sessions since RoS dropped and that was with a RL friend who doesn't play anymore.
back on Topic: I hit paragon 530 on my seasonal Monk this morning, just over 100hrs played and completed a GR60. I have 2 ancient pieces of gear, both of which aren't great. Had some nice stuff drop for my non-season chars though. Popped over to my non-season monk to test something out, BOOM... almost perfectly rolled ancient Uliana's legs dropped from the 1st chest I opened! starting to think this smart loot system might be a troll loot system haha Still, can't see myself playing much on my other characters until this season is finished tbh, still a long way to go!

@Khanate 20% cold is way better stat on amu than 8%CDR ;)

Agreed, that's why my amu has both lol, I was just pointing out that missing CDR on two pieces would gimp the build a little. :) I would like a nice hellfire but RNGesus has not been kind

@DonRazi - I would re-roll the vit, pretty sure most would agree :)

Missing CDR on amulet and main-hand.

My gear is slightly worse than yours over all, except I have CDR all available pieces. Your hellfire is pretty terrible though tbh, I'd use something different until you can craft a decent one, I've made 50+ so far without any real luck (got 2 for some non season characters). I managed to clear GR58 last night 1st attempt. Obviously an ancient Lions Paw would help too :)

posted a message on Equiping Followers

I only use Templar as a folllower and dont put much effort into gearing them though, but I normally follow along these lines

    Weapon - Azurewrath or Eun-Jang-Do

Shield - Freeze of Deflection with high block chance

    Amulet - Ess of Johan

Rings - Unity (for survivability if you use one too), justice lantern (for block %, see shield), Leorics (XP boost)

    Relic - Invincibility only

Ignore damage and hp stats.. you want to try and get attack speed on everything you can though, more attacks = more procs.

I'm sure other followers have their pros and cons, I'd say Scoundrel may be could with Buriza-Do Kyanon... enchantress hmmm? maybe Maximus or The Tormentor

    Hope this helps :)
