My gear is not as good as you guys... I'm really in love for the Tribal Rites, ZD and Provoke the Pack tech. I get dogs, i get 1225% weapon damage burst for every 30 seconds and get almost permanenet 20% damage boost. It's amazing to finnaly get 20% damage pump without using PtV that actually reduces your DPs if you're using spender skills such as Dire Bats. Also Fierce Loyalt makes really bad ass immortal pets. To bad thorns suck =[
I think my build is a pet-fire doctor hybrid instead of pure fire doctor.
u dont need fire bats, i think... use http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/homunculus this and some neck/head with some ZD cds reduction and bum! u can spam ZD+sacrifice :D, so u can use soul harvest and make more damage to... but sacrifice dont do fire damage, so... well, use a blue with 1100 dps or something with a lot of damage
my damage increases is the burning axe of sankis +6% fire damage and +25% skill fire damage.
Stone of jordan +6% fire damage and +12% corpse spider damage.
and my head gear with +13 % locus swarm damage.
both blazing spiders and searing locus does insane damage. its just to bad that explosive beast is kinda lame in damage, and acid cloud doesent have any fire damage rune.

Is the added fire damage and the added skill fire damage appear on your displayed DPS 24K ?
An other question is: when it is becoming a little messy, are your pets/enchantress sufficient to control mobs ?

nop, the fire bonus are not on the dps, and... yeah, enchantres make a lot of damage and my pets are a living wall... with fire btw
Searing Locusts: the damage is nice, but I've found that Pestilence, as an overall AoE DoT, works much better. I'm still going back and forth between them, but I'm leaning on Pestilence right now.
Burning Dogs: with Death is Life, I'm running Garg plus a pack a of dogs almost 24/7. Only times I've seriously considered switching out Horrify for this is when Garg gets overrun by powerful elites, which is not something that happens very often, as I have 11k health from globes and they drop very often from GotD.
Flaming Darts: with high attack speed this should be good, but right Roll the Bones is working too well for me to even consider dropping. It only pales in comparison when I'm down to a single elite or doing a boss run, but when it comes down to that, I find it completely acceptable.
Question: ZD procs for LoH, how effective? I have something like 333 LoH only right now, if worth it will pursue.
i dont realy know about ZD and loh, but with my tank gear i am something like inmortal... and pets to. And well, fire spells make more damage with this new legendary, and it work very good (ill pay like 1m for him and its great)
