Cheaper and scaling with higher dpsPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Try replacing Tough as Nails with Bloodthirst to simulate a LL Mainhand. As you have only 5.8% LL and zero LoH, that might help. You could also try a good pair of IK gloves for the 3 piece bonus.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
If the LL helps I would consider replacing your main hand with a LL weapon and going back to Tough as Nails (Or an offensive passive for that matter).
Btw.: What are your countermeasures to prevent mobs from fleeing (Echoing Fury proc) and thus rendering your tornados useless?
Wolf and Raven's post in this topic tackles that issue quite extensive.

That weird moment when you realise you ran around with 3% LL and like 150 LoH for at least 5 paragon levels... that other weird moment when you realise you just bought two items nearly void of vitality but survive much better.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Bought a new amulet, shoulders, IK belt & gloves and a neat Unity, my stats are now much better offensive wise. I don't want to talk about my HP
Stats right now with Warcry/Battle Shout/Enchantress (http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Vayar-2213/hero/1595773):
Crit Chance: 55%
Crit Damage: 414%
So... I plan on buying both a ring and a pair of pants with high vit next. IK chest is out of reach for the moment, as they start at 20 million in EU ah. So the next logical step would be better weapons - but what to buy? The question remains: Mighty weapon or axe/mace? What stats are most important? At what point will a mighty weapon outperform my MH mace?

Thanks for the link, sechssechssechs!Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I'm not sure how much dps a mighty weapon has to have to be better than my mace or if the weapon type alone (Please consider my medium amount of crit chance that is boosted by the mace) will bump my rage generation a lot higher.
Another question: Is the offhand still a stat stick or do I have to watch out for high weapon dps?
I'm lacking in each and every stat I guess The next thing I'll buy will propably be a pant, amulet or belt, preferably the latter. A few months ago good LL belt were expansive as hell, better luck this time

Update: Found a nice pair of IK boots, so I bought a matching IK helmet for the allres 2 pieces bonus. Still clueless, still in dire need of advice!Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Hi folks,Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I had been playing Diablo 3 for a few weeks until Mists of Pandaria came out. Since then one or two new patches came out and the old ww barb was nerfed to some extend.
Since I came back two days ago I fiddled around a bit with skillsets and gear, but typical Alkaizer runs on MP0 feel clunky as hell and I die frequently (1-3 times per run) due to my low defensive stats and mediocre dps.
I don't know if my current skillset is any good, which follower to use (WotB drops quite often, so I guess templar?) and what to buy next. My budget is at 3 million currently.
Furthermore I'm always torn between picking up rares that might boost my funds and only picking up legendaries. I found ~10 legendaries since release and none of them was worth more than a few hundred thousand...
Can you give me some advice?
Here is my armory: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Vayar-2213/hero/1595773
Thanks in advance!

Yes, that is the thing that makes me chuckle: The op stated that only the even numbers (2, 76, 94 etc.) are "loot servers", so your data doesn't underline his theory at all ^^Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

18 runs total,
8 with even numbers -> 6 legendaries
10 with uneven numbers -> 5 legendaries
How is this a "very good method"? I'll take a wild guess and say that the numbers even out between "normal" and "loot" servers if you run constantly.
And btw.: Zomfg, new farming method, developed by me! If you run servers ABOVE 100, you'll get legendaries 100% of the time! Don't believe me? Watch Flantives numbers, there's the proof!

Maloreon, you nailed it.
