posted a message on Is t6 soloable without Unity?
In my opnion blizzard already said time and time again that the focus of d3's game design is multiplayer. That makes things harder for players like me who enjoy solo. I wouldn't be surprised if the Unity combo was something done on purpose waiting to be discovered instead of just a "discovery who got popular". That said, yes, it feels mandatory, but so does other rings, namely SoJ and Ring of Royal Grandeur. I see Unity as some kind of end game gimmick for solo players. It's useless on multiplayer since your allies actually take dmg instead of being immortal like your followers.

posted a message on Help me break the wall - Gyrfalcon
    Hello everyone,

I'm here to ask for tips on want should I do with my crusader next. I feel like I hit the wall here. Yesterday I managed to drop a second unity ring wich allowed me to get rid of my old ring of royal grandeur and made an anguhild bracer instead. I run a pretty ordinary build of gyrfalcon, jekanbord and all the Holy dmg I could get.

It made t6 even easier than before, each rift taking around 15 to 20 minutes based on density and what boss I get (since the builds single target dmg is pretty bad). I only play around 4 hours a day, so I decided to go for crafted stuff and low cost/low CDS instead of the more mainstream akkahns set with embodiment of power (it would take forever to farm when I was fresh 70 and rally was still the way to go.

I do hhave a pretty good fate of the fell and every shield in the game sitting on my bank, and enough gear to make that exactly same build while transitioning to fire/lightning including several sojs. And 4 pieces of the Akkham set.

I really like the gyrfalcon game play tho, so at this point I don't even know where to gamble the shards I get.

Is there anything else I can do to improve my current setup? Or should I run for the same items with better stats over and over?

Should I change my gameplay altogether and go CD reduction and permanently Akarat? Any help is appreciated.

By the way I'm not trying to compete with anyone on diabloprogress or anything like that since I don't even have enough time to become that good, just trying to have fun here.

posted a message on I would like some sugestions for a Hardware Upgrade (Low Budget)
Hello guys, I would like some tips for upgrading my Hardware.
I would like to know what would be the best thing to buy to upgrade my computer's performance in gaming. My actual specs are:

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @2.7GHz
    4 GB Ram 800MHz (2x2) DDR2
    Motherboard Asus P5QPL-AM
    GeForce GTS250 Zotac 1GB (DirectX 10) DDR3
    Power Source 500W
    HD 2TB 7200RPM

I don't have a external cooler, and my monitor is not HDMI ready (Samsung VGA 19.5'' 1440x900).

I know its not a great computer, but I build it a few years ago and so fart I can run most games in High settings and 4x AA. GTA IV, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, CoD BO2 among others can be run in ultra settings (with 30 to 60 fps) while more demanding games like Guild Wars 2, Crysis 2 and so on can be ran on High with 30-60 fps.

Altough, I have really bad performance in more modern games like Far Cry 3 and Crysis 3 (It seems to vary based on the game's Engine).

Sadly, my budget is not high at all. I'm thinking on something around U$150,00 (Hard to say, since I won't really buy whatever in dollar, I live in BR, and everything is more expensive here, but thats an estimate) and, maybe due to my limited knowledge, I'm under the impression that the best upgrade is a new GPU (A GTX 650Ti maybe? Or maybe go to AMD, help me here :P) but I think it would be smarter to ask ppl who knows better than me. Thats where u guys come in. Any help would always be apreciated.

As a reminder, the idea would be the best upgrade possible for Gaming with that low budget, and I'm not really sure if upgrading my RAM, for instance, would be a better deal than the GPU (Altho, my motherboard doesn't seems to support DDR3 Ram, so no 1600Mhz for me :( ).

Thank you very much for any tips.

posted a message on Sugestions about Farm
Hi, everyone. A few days ago I asked for advice on upgrading my Barbarian's gear to manage to solo MP10 with excelent results, thanks to the very good people on these forums.
Now I would like another piece of adivce, and thats pretty simple. I spent a lot of time without playing and with money saved to spend. After I came back, that money resulted pretty much on this gear:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Ensidia-1972/hero/11162793

Now, I would like to know, whats the most effective way, spot and MP level to farm Exp and itens with that gear, since my gold is gone.
The gear is good enough to kill everything on MP10, but with eventual deaths, and taking a long long time on a few elite packs. The satisfaction of finishing the "hardest mode" is good, but I don't feel it's very viable for farming.

Once again, any advice is apreciated. Thanks.

Greed1337, with the items I have atm, I'm doing a bit of everything (didn't tried uber bosses mp10 yet tho) but it's a hard time, gotta pay a lot of attention and so on. One way or another, I'll think i'll get a overall build, farm some gold, and then work on a stronger one. Once more I should thank you, and everyone else, for the advice.

Yeah guys, I read everything that you guys told me, and used the little money I had (around 80m) to make the best out of the ideas. I went with the Rend WW since it sounded cheaper and safer to invest, and got the new Skorn/IK-Belt. Happy to say that I just finished Act3 Farm with no deaths from quest 1 to last. So yeah, I guess MP10 is done, thanks to all your tips. Fitsu's info about the freeze Scoundrel is awesome, I really recomend it. Yet, with not a lot of gold left, I have a few questions if I may:

About my Mempo, yes, I don't have enough money to buy another one atm, so, before I go with the IK-Helm, can one of you tell me if it's really worth it? The 4-5% melee resistance is on par with the 79 all resists I lose? (And, for my budget, between 5-7k + DPS with an IK)
Also, since I'm at it already, i'll be at 4 IK-Pieces if I get the helm. Is it worth it to get a 5th piece (probably a substitute for the Ice Climbers) ? Is the set effect's EHP+ and Fury Generator worth a try?

Sadly, my money is almost gone (or maybe i get some luck and sell some stuff till tomorrow morning, who knows?) so I supose i don't have much room for trys, anyway, any advice is apreciated and, as best as I can, followed.

    Thanks again.

BTW, I went from 35k HP and 222k DPS to 49k HP and 229k DPS following you guys' tips, without losing anything.
The only change I had to make was using "Bloodthirst" instead of "Tough as a Nail" since I lost a lot of Life Steal after I changed the Skorn.

I would like some advice on my barbarian's Gear and Build.
Been playing WWs mostly (and yes, I tried dual weild but so far my Skorn is getting better results) but I would have no problem about changing my build if that proves to be more effective.
MP8 is a walk in a park so far, but MP10, well, not so much...
    Any help is apreciated.

    Thank you for your time.
