    Great adventure Chris. Amazing images. I hope you get a way to earn some of your money back through the work you've done on the way. I imagine that would feel very satisfying. Perhaps write a short book or something about it?

    I love Diablo, and for me Diablo is a "game". When you say you like to make money out of the game, I feel like I'm not hearing correctly.     I anticipated it and that is why I said ''even a single dollar''. It is not about using Diablo as a source of income. It is about getting an extra incentive to play the game, however small it is. Like the reverse feeling of buying a skin in LoL or HotS, in a sense.

    I used to love the game long after the AH was removed, but there came a point when I couldn't keep at bay the thought that I am doing nothing but wasting my time playing it. The engaging part was gone, the social one in big part too, and playing vs AI for me is fun once or twice, perhaps the third time too, but not over and over again.

    It is the excitement of dropping an item that might be greatly valuable to others what I originally looked for; the challenge in deciding whether to keep it for yourself or part ways with it; the chance of randomly hitting the lottery while simply playing a game you like; the feeling of not wasting your time completely by playing it, which is what I started feeling some months ago.

    It is not Wall Street what I was looking for. Just opinions on the topic. And I thank you for yours.

    Hey guys. I haven't played this game for a while now, though I used to play it a lot, and I just had a random thought about it... ''What is the single thing that for sure would make me jump into this game again?''

    And the answer came immediately - the Auction House and the prospects of making even a single dollar out of ordinary playing. It was the biggest hype for me back then when the game itself was first announced, and it still is all this time later.

    What do you think? Is Diablo 3 in a good state right now, and would bringing back the concept of the auction house make it any better?

    But the problem with flying dragon is that it only boosts your autoattack damage, and what I do not have yet clear is how our dmg output overall will behave with these new sets.


    Since the Uliana set resolves around SSS and explosive palm explosions, atack speed would not benefit any of that.

    (you would be able to apply EP on everything with normal dualwield speed quick enaugh for it to make a difference)


    The reason every monk uses FD now is because of the spirit regen that lets you spam Dashes, but not that much cause of the autoattack damage.

    That's why in my mind the Fist of Az'Turrasq might outperform it overall, as it doubles the damage at the moment of detonation.

    But in that sense, there might be even a better option than the Fist, namely The Flow of Eternity, the 2 handed weapon that reduced the cooldown of SSS by 60%


    So you'd have Cubed that SSS cdr passive, you'd palm everything around you quickly thanks to the dualwield, get the 300% dmg buff from shen-long, and then explode it all with SSS. With the passive you get it down to 5 sec or so (?), so that is time enough to gather everything, palm it and explode it again, and repeating it till you win.


    Looks like a solid plan to me.

    It does sound rather tempting, i agree, but i hope there'll be more.. flavor :-)

    Yeah, FD would be fun, but it won't necesarrily be the only choice.


    I was thinking about the Fist of Az'Turrasq (100% Explosive Palm dmg) - That would fit perfectly as well, though I wonder what % of our total damage with those sets the explosions would be.

    Maybe that presuposes that once you reach max spirit, you are supposed to dish it all down asap, in an instant, and then you start generating again. Maybe its supposed to be a nonstop up and down on your spirit bar. I truly hope that the 300% bonus on damage, once you reach max spirit, has like a 4 seconds duration or something, so that you can play with it ( spend the spirit and then get it back up or smt)

    What do you guys think about it? Is there any way to achieve 65 spirit regenation to keep the buff permanent? Or does it sound super cool and awesome to combo its effect with the new SSS and EP set?


    Here are both sets:

      • Shenlong's Spirit [Reworked]
        • 2 pieces: [When reaching maximum Spirit, all damage is increased by 300%, but you no longer passively regenerate Spirit and 65 Spirit is drained every second until you run out of Spirit.]

        • Uliana's Stratagem [New]
          • 2 pieces: [Every third hit of your Spirit Generators applies Exploding Palm.]
          • 4 pieces: [Your Seven-Sided Strike deals its total damage with each hit.]
          • 6 pieces: [Your Seven-Sided Strike detonates your Exploding Palm.]

    Edit: also adding those related effects that offer synergies:


    - P3_ItemPassive_Unique_Ring_025 -The damage of your Spirit Generators is increased by [{VALUE1}*100]% for each point of Spirit you have.


    - Kanai's Cube (efects):

    - Fist of Az'Turrasq (100% Explosive Palm damage)

    - Flying Dragon (double attack speed)

    - The Flow of Eternity (60% cdr on SSS)

    I truly believe that sooner or later something like this is coming into the game. My highest bet is that they save this feature to be used as the main new thing in some expansion, and they would not put it in the game with a patch.

    Rune words are huge to the Diablo world, and anyone that played d2 would know how much of a part they played. The horadric cube was probably the single most representative item of the game. So I really think it is not a question of ''If?'' but of a ''When?'', because I see it as a must happen.

    Then again, Blizzard knows how much we want it, and if it happens to be a major feature in the next expansion, that means that there likely won't be anything else like a new class or a new act.

    I really want rune words asap :Ç

    If you are one of the top players, it is very likely that you will want to get to know the others, and the others to get to know you, and maybe team up for the group ladder. It would just be a usefull thing to have the option to get that screen to show like all the others.

    So they didn't put a screen in the ladder to see the top players regardless of their class? That's probably the most trivial part of the whole system yet they don't even implement it. I feel like it will be requested so I don't even underestand why they left it like this.

    It would be awesome to see the top players in a single screen, see their classes and timers, and get to know them... the social aspect would be great.

    It just buggs me as to why they wouldn't put it, as it would be better with than without...

    Combination Strike works so simple and is probably the easiest thing to test. Since Vanilla I've played my monk often with it as a part of my normal builds - that is with a single generator. It just gives you 10% damage increase, so it is worth it even with one. Don't know where the confusion is coming about it.
