Since I lost quite a few characters on HC due to lag, I am returning to SC. I have 50 mln HC gold that I am willing to trade.

If you want to be really extreme you can go hardcore as well ^^Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I had some doubts myself about monster power and did the following testPosted in: Hardcore Discussion
Atm I am running act 1 without any issues, taking about 30 minutes for almost a full run. Act 2 is also ok, but i am still struggling if I use MF gear in act 3. So I did not want to risk it and was running act 1 with MF gear on. I cannot post URLs but my battletag is boceto # 2473, playing witch doctor as main.
I installed the PTR, set monster power to 1 and went into act 1 again. As it turned out, I died on the first run from butcher (was kinda noobish but you get the idea).
So basically if you do not run act 3 without problems I would not recommend you to turn monster power on, especially on HC. I have lost 5 characters from lagspikes up to now and I know how frustrating can it be at some point.
Also, switching on monster power will probably call for completely different build from the one you have been using while running act 1.

Sorry for being unclear in my first post, I meant a character that can actually survive a lagspikePosted in: Hardcore Discussion
Before the 1.04 nerf of the procrate of pets I was actually immortal, because even ~400 loh was enough to keep me topped all the time.
After buffing the pets tho I decided I should progress in act 2. Before Kulle I met a pack of mobs that leave fire patches on the ground (blazing constructs or smth) champions, they had 80k life left when I dc'ed. I have lost 4 characters and I have yet to see the 'Your deeds of valor will be remembered' screen...

As the title says, is there any class in this game that is doing better than others in terms of lag? I have lost 3 WDs and 1 barb due to lagspikes and I am tired of leveling again.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
The last char I lost was a pet-doctor, just died to a champion pack before Kulle in inferno because of a lagspike.

That's what I'll be using.
I will be grouped mostly with a Barb, sometimes with a Monk. My hope is that Impunity turns my dogs and garg into really tough tanks (I have about 700 resist all before Impunity).
I didn't notice Big Stinker getting buffed so I opted for CleavyGarg instead. Restless Giant I'd take, but I hate how it gets wasted on white mobs. I'd honestly rather just have the cleave on champ/rares.
There are a lot of potential swaps you can make with the runes in this build depending on what you're doing.
Soul to Waste is simply so that I can maximize my uptime on 5-stacks for the damage and pet survivability. I do not want to have to find a 5-pack every 30 seconds. That pisses me off!
Pretty self-explanatory build that does focus on some big (but sustainable) AoE damage over single target damage.
I have been using a pet build for HC as of 1.03. I have ~500 all res and ~5k armor, pets rarely die except from molten+frozen/plagued champions (I am up to Belial). If you have 700 res in 1.04 and a barb your pets will be literally immortal, you shouldn't really worry about that :P

I think that it is not possible that only the Spider queen is getting a buff, the other runes needed some love as well and I am sure the damage is going to increase.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
Could be that up to now spiders are doing 16% in total, not per hit? Has anyone tested that?
