I'm also a weapon switcher. But to be more precise:
For normal mobs/elites w/o RD I'm using LoK 2600 on one weapon for total life input.
For RD I switch to 2,2+2,9 life steal daggers, with IAS. The trick I use is the 1,4k Skorn with perfect stats that sets my Sweeping Wind damage. Then with higher AS with those daggers I'm not as affected by the 30% drop in dps when switching for life steal. And they also generate more cyclones.
Also sync blinding flash with serenity makes it eaiser

First attempt, server ip 64; maybe not a hailstorm but one Bul-Kathos's Solemn Vow at bridge.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
This is really working! 1 out of 1, isnt that 100% probability, right?
Edit: next run, server ip 38; Sledge of Athskeleng in keep level 3, still 100% right?

Omg, with 74k viewers of this thread you (ZFPuhi) must be laughing your ass off. You really hit a spot that people is going crazy about; Cracking the loot system so you will get an advantage.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Not 8000? or maybe 20k? Trying to make your post more legit with some Pm's and posts... hilariousQuote from ZFPuhi
Well here i am with a New Update on the Loot Servers, got over 4000 ppl's Feedback via Pm's and post on different forums hope u enjoy - >
If you now for some reason wouldnt be trolling, and laughing your ass off doing so, you would oc ask people to go in and play on ALL servers so you can compare them with equal "data-mined from the thread"
See this thread for some input on statistics http://www.diablofans.com/topic/57939-magic-find-and-its-efficiency-a-statistical-insight/ , yeah I know they are crazy, but in a good way.
Nonetheless, this fine evening, I will, as so many before me (4000 isch) type netstat -n in commando prompt, looking for that 72,74,76,78 numbers. Then start farming as a mad man. And when those legendaries start dropping like a hailstorm from the sky, I know why; Cause I'm playing at the right server! Isn't that just beautiful, you just made my day, thx and gl with the mined-data

Very nice guide, thank you for your effort.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Agree with you on the legendary comments, but I think you should include "the witching hour", sure it has int, but it can roll dex/vit/res (3random :)) and then its really good.

Great post, all luck to you.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Though since you seems to be serious about getting to 100 as fast as possible I hope you know you have just made the first 3-4% of total time investment. Lissen to thundersteele about the route, but the absolutely most important strategy to level fast is to never get tired and press that resume game button over and over again. Me, I can only press it 3-4 times after I afk.
P.S 35 rounds thundersteel! with that effeciency you should have passed by me long ago

Thx for great input. I never played d2 or wow online so thx for enlighting me with your experience regarding pvp.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Now that Cheng and Wilson made it clear through IGN that pvp hits first next year I think we should focus more on pve.
And then my thoughts on top legends and how they interact for the perfect pve monk. What are your thoughts on that?

Very nice video though

I wanted to start this topic so we could discuss how the perfect monk gear could look like. Both for pve but maybe more for future pvp.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I want to grind deep into the specific stats on some legends and how you should invest for future pvp.
Right now the game is like walking in the park for most monks, and it will be like driving a segway after patch 1.0.5. With that comes that all monks is going for high dps and no defense (or very low) since everything dies directly.
New legends has high dps stats, like Lacuni Prowlers and The Witching Hours, but the price for them is except for a lot of gold, that you loose defense for each legend item compared to a great/perfect rare.
But in pvp the enemies wont get one shooted, I hope, and if so the monks are not the race that will do the one-shotting. So what are your thoughts on wich legends to invest in and on what peices of your gear you should focus on defense.
Also with the new legends you can get a rediculously high attack speed (like pre nerf). And with high crit chance that means cyclones everywhere, good for pve oc, but maybe great for pvp. High attack speed could be 6x3 from jewelery, 9 from gloves and 9x2 from Lacuni and Witching Hour. Thats 45% AS, and could be the standard for future pvp monk, think how no-one can excape you since you teleport with high frequency, what are your thoughts?
So for example:
You absolutely need 24%MS both pve and pvp, to get that you have 3 options:
Innas temp + boots, lacuni + boots, lacuni + innas temp.
And the last one will get you + 18% AS, so that is preferable for pants and bracers. And then with the boots you could invest high in defense instead of MS, like Ice Climbers with your special res and high vit on.
I choosed to go with Innas Radiance for helmet but that also drains my defense even more, good for pve yes, but is it good for pvp...
Also jewelery I think you should go with high crit chance (CC) and high AS.
Belt should be the The Witching Hour since that is so good and you can get it with dex 70, vit 70, special res 30-50 AND armor for around 100M, expensive yes, but this topic is for the "Perfect Monk".
So left is shoulders, chest, gloves. What are your thoughts on them? Should they get perfect defense, like +120res, armor and +140vit?
Or are there any other perfect legends that I have missed that would be of great benefit for the "perfect monk"? I think though that speed and attack speed will be the most important stats for pvp, ?
Wy I left out weapons is because there is not so much variance, yes WKL could be interesting with extremely high AS/CC for SW and maybe I have missed some other good legend. But I think that you get what you pay for when it comes to weapons. That means: +850dps, +200dex, +90CD, socket, and 1.4 or higher AS is preferable. I think high AS on weapons combined with +170CD would be very good for both pvp and pve.
Last but not least, what about Life Reg. I just love life leach, and it works wonders with SW. We can clear out LoK in pvp I think, maybe LoH is good, but I think 2x3% life leach on weapons would be great and also worth the loss in damage for lower dps weapons. Maybe we will need even more life reg, what are your thoughts?
Open for discussion, thx in advance for great inputs on topic (I admint the topic is vague).
P.S Last time I opened a topic about getting high exp/hour it doubbled my exp/hour so now that I have grinded some I have a lot of money so thats wy I open up this topic. To get some great input on how to gear for the future, or maybe just save it all for the future to tell...

Indeed, RNG is rocket science.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But I agree to the feeling on legends dropping in packs. One week no drops, one day 3 drops, and so on.
But the droprates are far to high, since the legendarys has so high passive stats, they should be legends, not flooding ah and on every players gear. Makes everyone look similar, and the game to easy.
P.S todays drops: Innas temperence +cold res, and 1min later Skorn 1.4k dps, LoH 1k, 190CD. Today was a legendary pack day
