What type of problems are you having? What act are you working on? a few more details would help.
Your resist is a little low, but not bad. I found that 700 made A3 a lot easier.
Your LOH is a little low, but not bad. I found that 800-1000 worked best for me.
Your Dex is a little low, but not bad.
All in all. With that gear you should be easily farming in A2 and progressing in A3.
Overall I think your doing just fine if your starting out in Act 3. Your stats are similar to mine with one big acceptation. weapon damage. If you picked up a 800-900dps damage main hand and keep the 881 Loh for an offhand you should see a noticeable difference. Since the 1.04 nerf of inferno the price of good weapons has come down a lot. on US Ah a 850dps fist weapon with socket is only around 100k-300k.
Well if you don't want to use the kiting technique then I would suggest getting somewhere close to 2k LoH, very high AR (1k range), and ton of DPS(40-50k). A little more HP wouldnt hurt you either. Ghom just has a thing for Monks. He like to make our lives difficult.

I used the standard Fot Dps build and used my tankish gear. 950 AR 8.5k armor.
I didn't find it worth the effort put together a full gear set for just one boss.

The biggest down side is still that the explosion only works on death. So that part of the ability is worthless on a boss and limited on elite packs.
That said, i can't wait to see an elite explode for huge damage numbers.
