Fuckin Jay Wilson:(((
I don't see why people really want this, since it will not really change a thing, and increase the gap between casual and hardcore players:
- There are 4 primaries on rings/amu. (Almost) everyone goes for the same affixes: mainstat, crit damage, crit chance, socket (some builds use CDR, but for those build everyone goes for the same stats as well). Being able to add a socket on them, will not make (for example) all res a wanted stat, it will get replaced with another wanted stat. At end gear, all it does is increase damage numbers (CDR builds need CDR anyway, they would gain a damage roll. Other builds go with attackspeed, average damage, whatever). You will not use this item on a bad ring.
- The item will be pretty rare. Else the can just give every ring/amu a default socket as a 5th primary. People complain about the ramaladni's gift being too rare already. If it only works on rings/amu, you will need at least 3, more if it works on all slots. This will give people that play a lot an even bigger advantage: they have the better items to start with, and get plenty of these in the long run. The casual player might only have 1 by the end of the season. All this to make the strong players even stronger.
- It will make it harder to get good rings (and maybe amulets), not easier. To have the perfect item, you will still need 3 correct rolls, the 4th you enchant and add a socket. So, while you will get more dps with a perfect item, they will need the same amount of correct rolls. Since (at least) 3 of the best rings (focus, restraint, convention of elements) come with a guaranteed socket, you will need 3 perfect rolls, roll off the socket to add a socket. Now think about how many perfect rings of those you had, where you wanted 1 additional stat. Even worse if it would work on other items, since set chest/pants come with guaranteed sockets as well.
Sorry to say but your post is absolutely full of idiotic statements:(
Most EU/NA top team did this exploit and there are clear proofs of it. I can understand the logic behind " feeling obligated to do it ". Since they consider themselves as top players in D3, they didn't wanted to fall behind. But still, it should be punished, they should be banned. There are a lot of players playing 10+ hours everyday since the season launched, and that chose not to exploit. And what is there for them now ? They just have to accept that the exploiters are now days (weeks) of farming ahead ? I don't think that's fair. I didn't mind the Sever bug in S2 ( just the way blizzard reacted to it ), but this is pretty fucked up.
Really sad that a "drama" like this occured this early in season 3. That's again a big fuck up by blizzard, and they should handle that properly now, or i'm pretty sure some similar shit is going to happen in the seasons to come.
This shit should be handled asap since it's so easy to figure out who used the exploit.I see Blizz banned that mannercookie guy cos he did it on stream and all others are just fuckin fine.
Since getting solo keys is so damn hard I am looking for people interested in doing some trials .I'm in need of 50/51/52 keys mostly. We can do it in 2's if you have a good geared Dh or palm monk.I can play either, or I can join your grp if you have one.
Very well said sir!Quote from GrindelwaldRiF is the best thing to happen to this game EVER. befor RiF struggled to gear my barb, 1.7k hours played, I played 14-16 hours a day to get my eq/ik unity set immortal set. Was a miserable existence. After i finally got it, i hadnt been outside in a month and had to learn how relearn how to walk @@. Within the first week of kadala buff/RiF i was able to get full jade/zun set for my wd. Second week full akk set on crusader. And now i will be gearing up my DH. it has brought so much fun back into the game and im loving every minute of d3 while playing around with diff builds and toons. I really enjoy leeching for a few hours, spending shards then being a runner, capped off with bounty xp runs toi really break up the monotemy of the daily grind that had become farmablo. I wouldnt play no where near as much without RiF. i am high PL, so i only enter lowest opens so it never costs me and when i run i always do lowest opes cause i like to give back to the high lvl paragons who have invested real time into the game. If u dont use rift cause of your idiotic morals or cause joe bloe geared up quicker than your main. well franky your a tool and u should RiP diablo for good.
Yep, never intended to turn this into a big debate over the RNG topic, so I'm off to gamble some more shards , in the hope that the bitch will be kind to me ...soon..ish:)
Quote from LawlieI don't understand what video is trying to prove??
Items In horadic caches are not pregenerated. If you farm your caches on your witch doc or wizard, and open them on your barb you will get str items. If you open caches on a monk you will get dex items. This has been expained by blizz too not long ago aswell
My point exactly, yet people keep on claiming that there are pre determined loot tables. This guy farmed the caches on his WD and opened them on his DH, meaning if there were pre determined loot tables (even in caches, like some people suggest), he would've rolled int items and WD gear.
Anyway, enough from me, read all kind of loot table theories far too much, loot table on game creation, loot table on character creation (and people actually make multiple characters to try to get a certain item) that I'm growing tired of it.
RNG is RNG, will stay RNG, some people are very lucky, some are extremely unlucky, that's life, get over it, keep on hunting the items you want, that's the thrill of the game!
I don't understand what video is trying to prove??
My point here was only to show that you can have such bad luck that it can take a very long time to get an item that you're looking for.I am looking for some set shoulders , not wand of who, SMK or some super rare item, and still after 35k shards spent I didn;t got it.Gambling related to "rng" is another discussion and I won't get into it now, but in order to get a specific item you're looking for you need to have the luck to be in the 'Right" game wich has that specific loot table generated. But to get shards fast you keep entering/making new games and chances to get the item can be really poor.I will quote here someone explaining some things about RNG and maybe some ppl can understand something if interested:)Quote from ruksakWhat's your point? Because you can't gamble a particular item, you think the system is flawed?Quote from Lawlie
Lol i see ppl complaining about the fact they've spent 3-4 k shards for a set item and still didn't drop. I'm sitting now at 35 k + shards spent only on shoulders , to get the Pauldrons of Akkhan for my gay crusader.I m about to fuckin delete the character lol.So Fuck the "RNG" gods deep and hard....
GL with drops
PS:I got 10 Burdens of the invoker and countless homing pads and other shit...what a joke
This game would be shit if I could count on gambling a particular end-game item. I wouldn't even play. Gheed would've owned your ass, cuz that was one stingy motherfucker.
Apart from the fact that the " tavern talk" seemed kinda retarded at some points given the answers ,John Yang seemed the better one of the 3 ,while Travis Day and especially Wyatt Cheng talked a lot of bullshit , the most outrageous thing was said by Wyatt Cheng when the question about changing sever mid season came up: He said they were debating on doing it or not because it will affect leaderboards and they decided to do it anyway but "WHO CARES ABOUT LEADERBOARDS!".I think this slipped out of his mouth...or I dunno maybe the man has some level of retardation...Also he kept telling us about whatever bullshit pennant and portrait icon they will introduce to players , and how gold find is important because he wanted to do some shit achievement on his toon and moved his paragon points into gold find.He said he was working hard on it, for a long time, and he reached paragon 200, lawl...
So behold the game designers boyz, and it becomes clear and clear why the game is still so fucked up in so many ways after so long.
PS: Fuck you Jay Wilson
