    Interesting thread! I just don't understand why you are trying to prove that CHC is better than CHD on ring. You can get a lot more CHC than CHD on gear easily(if you use an off-hand). Getting max CHC on helm and bracers is not that hard, while getting max CHD on slots like amulets and gloves is pretty hard. Not to mention how hard it is to get a well rolled WH. In the worst case scenario you will get 8,5% CHC on amulet and 4.5% CHC on other slots. It's harder to get well rolled CHD. The limits for CHD on amulets are 51-100%, on other slots - 26-50%. In a perfect world, where you have max CHD on gear, CHC on ring might be better, but in the real world it's otherwise.



    I tested 6% CHC vs 50% CHD on ring with the following 2 rings:







    I played around with paragon points to get the exact stats(AS and Dex). And here are the results:









    Stats on other items:

    Helm: 6% CHC

    Bracers: 6% CHC

    Quiver: 10% CHC

    Amulet: 9% CHC and 81% CHD

    Gloves: 9.5% CHC and 48% CHD

    Belt: 41% CHD

    Emerald on weapon: 130% CHD



    I also have a SoJ with 6% CHC. I replaced my dex one with CHC one and here are the results:









    I could have used archery and/or bait the trap to get even more CHC. It would prove that CHD on ring is more valuable than CHC but the test I made is enough for me.

    It's hard to keep the 1:10 ratio only with stats from gear. It's easier if you use a passive(archery with 2h x-bow) or you dual wield. In this case CHC would be better but having an off-hand with 8.5-10% CHC makes CHD more valuable than CHC on ring. Noone dual wields anymore and there is only one situation left - using a 2 handed weapon(barb, WD, wiz with Furnace or monk with a daebo). In this case you lose up to 10% CHC by not having an off-hand and CHC might be better than CHD.

    Edit: There is a pretty nice calculator on http://www.diabloprogress.com/. You can find it in your char's profile. In the bottom of the page you can see how much dps 1% CHC or CHD would give you.

    That's a nice point and it should be tried. Enforcer still buffs sentries and that makes more than half if you use it. Sentry dmg is the way to go on shoulders, chest and quiver imo.

    The troll has a point meathead, giving up on cull the weak is inexcusable! If you really need the slow just polar station or templar (solo) will be much more damage.
    If there is a troll here, it's not me. It's the OP himself. He's trolled almost 3k ppl with that video, not to mention the rest of his videos.

    It's unreliable in the new patch because your sentries don't auto fire - only when you do. Frost arrow chills for 1 second, meaning you'll need to fire off a frost arrow every at LEAST once EVERY second in order to maintain a debuff. What happens when you're full on hatred and spam Cluster Arrow? No debuff, because you're not firing frost arrows. That's why it'll be unreliable.
    Why do you spam CA? You should rotate EA and CA.

    I think you don't get it. You won't be able to do 55 with the incoming nerf! Not any soon, maybe later with a max ancient Kridershot.

    Well, as we will do less damage we are going to do lower level rifts. That combined with the nerf to mob damage + toughness increase from ancient items and/or a gem tells me that we are not going to get 1 shot by jailer and thunderstorm. 15 mil toughness is enough to survive jailer at rank 41(or maybe 42 I tested it long ago and forgot the exact rank) rift on live. That means rank 46 jailer can be survived with 15 mil toughness according to the table in Reddit. I think it won't be that hard to get 15 mil toughness with ancient items.

    Ok, let's stop this because we could argue forever. You want my contributions? OK! I think that build will do much better.

    • Entangling Shot: Justice is Served - I picked this because of 2 reasons. It gives 6 hatred per cast and triggers Cull the Weak.
    • Cluster Arrow: Loaded for Bear
    • Vault: Tumble
    • Sentry: Polar Station - As Entangling Shot slows limited number of mobs Polar Station will be really useful
    • Companion
    • Preparation: Punishment
    Passives:

    • Awareness
    • Cull the Weak
    • Custom Engineering
    • Steady Aim
    As 5th passive I'd use Archery. I find it superior to Ambush and Single Out because it's up all the time.

    Gems:

    • Enforcer
    • Bane of the Trapped
    • Gogok of Swiftness - This one would help for faster hatred regen and reduce the CD of Punishment, Companion and Sentry.
    Stat priority: CHC>CHD>RCR>CDR. CHC is the most important stat here in my opinion because if LFB doesn't crit it doesn't do much damage. It's always good to have high CHC when playing with high cost spenders. We get 50% CHD from Archery with an x-bow and that's another reason for getting more CHC on gear. Gear isn't much customizable in respect of CHD/CHC. The only item that's customizable is RoRG. The ideal ring should have Dex, IAS, CHC and a socket.

    Ideal gear setup is a standart M6 setup except the following items:

    • Shoulders: Dex, Vit, RCR and Sentry Damage
    • Weapon: Any 2h x-bow with high damage, dex, 10% damage, RCR and socket
    • Chest: Cindercoat with Dex, Sentry Damage and 3 sockets
    • Bracers: Reaper's Wraps with Dex, Vit, CHC and Fire Damage
    As an alternative I'd say Leonine Bow of Hashir with your favourite Bolas rune instead of Entangling Shot and something else instead of Archery because 8% damage isn't worth it. As LFB's damage area is too small, it would be good to pull mobs in one spot(within Polar Station area). That would speed up killing the trash mobs and help getting to the RG faster.
