Ditto.
I keep going back and forth on the Transmog idea in D3. I like the idea of being able to customize the way I look when an upgrade happens to be an ugly PoS, but more importantly, I like being able to accurately distinguish what a player in mulitplayer is wearing, visually. Now i'll be forced to go through the hassle of inspecting a player if I ever feel the need to see what his gear is like.
And doesn't transmoging a Legendary, kinda take something away from it being a Legendary? Is it just me that feels like it does?
That's a concern rised in WoW too when Transmogrification was announced and implemented. Some players, expecially Arena competitors, wanted to see how someone was geared by just looking at his gear model; but i think being able to change my character apperance once in a while and not seeing every Demon Hunter or any other class wearing the same set like they were copy pasted it's refreshing. Same thing happened in WoW, and i'm glad i could see some variance of gear in Stormwind.
I'm ok by changing a Legendary in a common item aspect, otherwise it won't change anything; sooner or later you character will wear all oranges and greens, so will other players. At that point we will have copy pasted characters all over again.
I'm a bit contrary to being able to transmog rares into legendaries but since you unlocked the model, it's yours. I hope we will see some good sets like Jaetch's Ninja wizard

I said so many times that BoA is an over reaction from Blizzard to shut down third party sites and scammers and there should be some sorta of limited trading between friends and clan but in the end i got a better gaming experience because drop rates are balanced around playing the game and not lurking on forum or spamming in trade chat.
What we had with the AH was a terrible experience because drop rates were balanced around free trading and we spent hours (if not days) to find something remotely usefull, probably to sell and grab another item. If you were lucky, you were set forever, you jumped to MP10 and you where done with the game. If you were smart, you flipped the crap out of the AH and you didn't even need to play the game. If you started playing from release, you gained enough gold to buy gear in an inflated economy and you were in MP10. If you had more money than common sense, you bought gold and you were done.
I think Blizzard's stance is pretty clear, they are removing Trading Forums from their board too, so don't hold your breath for some sorta of 180° (AGAIN).

I agree on your opinion about Rifts and Bounties, the former is waaaay too efficient and they screwed it. The free world we have has become useless and we are just playing inside our town to open the portal and enjoy a disproportionate drop rate compared to what's outside of the Rift bubble.
Then, when someone is in need of keystone (does it ever happen?) he will jump on Act 1 normal, because OP RING OF OPNESS drops only there. Your "I'm completely fed up with Act 1 bounties!" quote nailed this game mode perfectly.
Live Ubers are a joke, i have no idea why me and a friend tried to craft the Hellfire ring, but looking for Wardens and killing Bosses was a huge waste of time because the loot rewards outside rifts are too low. At least they will have something usefull to craft next patch, and i'm happy about it.
As you, shaggy, i wish that every mode has an equal reward system, because if i ever try to step out of Rifts of Act 1 Bounties i feel like an idiot, because going out of bounds makes me feel i'm doing it wrong.

Blizzard is trying to not force anyone into season if they don't want to, smartly, and they can't put overpowered stuff there. As said above, they don't want nomal players to be left in the dirt.
Kudos to Rantallion for his thoughts, he nailed the situation perfectly. I'm just glad i will be able to have a fresh start once in a while to play with friends soon, as i always did with Diablo 2.

Sure, we still have other issues like boring gems... but seeing how things are shaping up, feedback is being used and the game is going in a good direction.

But as i saw recently, everything should be an esport and if you aren't flexing your e-peen hard enough, you are playing wrong and you are a scrub.
As i always said, i see season as a way to hard reset my progress and start from scratch, which i always found fun to do in Diablo 2 once every 4-6 months, but i'm aware to not being able to compete in the leveling race because i have other games to play....

By the way, as other said, there will be new Legendary items each season that will be dropped on normal as soon the new ladder will begin, so players not partecipating will get the new stuff too.... with a bit of delay.
