posted a message on Tricky Ancient Boulder Breaker reroll - vote!

Looks like rerolling the damage range is the best, elite damage is almost as valuable as % damage on a whirlwind barb as you completely obliterate white monsters ( and having them alive a little bit longer can actually be beneficial to killing elites ) + there's the fact you spend ateast 30% of your rift time on the rift guardian in the higher rifts.

Rerolling the attack speed is not an option because of your current breakpoint situation ( and losing 8.5% crit on the neck for AS is bad, very bad, WW build procs several things off of crits, depending on what skill you use exactly ).

I'd go damage range reroll without a doubt.

A tricky decision like this simply can't be made with the information you provided us, depending on breakpoints or any already present elite % damage, the answer would change.

CoE proc does a load of damage, it was really noticeable when switching out for unity.

i have a similar conundrum picking whether to replace my regular CoE with an ancient one with a weaker elemental bonus.

I would gain 151 strength but lose out on 38% of the elemental bonus and also 0.5% crit chance. Thoughts?

0.5% crit and a 38% ele buff with 25% uptime completely shits all over 151 strength, they're not even close.

    Quote from Det0xgo-next

The first rift i cleared solo, the second one i just joined a random 4 player public t6 game. (being a jerk i know:)

Diablo 3 RoS: The new 2.2 In-Geom Raekor barb - Fastest t6 barb build there is @ http://youtu.be/jDkS748hUcM[/header]

Only showcasing the t6 farming speed of Raekors + In-Geom, which is only rivaled by a dashing strike In-Geom Monk.

Also keep in-mind the In-Geom used in this video only was a 8 seconds one, so i could not perma charge and take this build to its fullest potential.

And yes.. thats perma wotb without IK

I dislike the arrogance in calling anytihng the FASTEST build, I've seen you now post on reddit , diablofans, the battle net forums, on reddit you even post on a thread about 35 grifting and start talking about T6. Not a fan of the "agressive marketting", I personally tested a WW BK build and this build and no build is significantly faster than the other, the in-geom is slightly faster when you have a crazy elite density rift, WW is faster if you don't. You need to get quite a few elites in a 20 second window to keep up perma berserker with in-geom, getting legendary drops that require you to backtrace to pick them up, or simply not getting 4-5 elites in a 20 second window is slowing down the in-geom version. I'll take the consistent build that actually allows you to pick up legendaries without being punished for it over the one that cherrypicks a good rift and doesn't loot anything just to try and set some record time.

posted a message on IK 6 set bonus bugged?

Power pylon isn't multiplicative though, it's an additive bonus to your damage. It's easy to test with a taeguk gem, the boost from a power pylon is the same amount of dps, no matter how many stacks you have on the taeguk.

posted a message on Why convention of elements is the new best dps ring, dethroning stone of jordan.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7wlUfNNMzM

    TL;DW

Before we begin, this discussion is purely about pure raw dps numbers, sometimes using utility rings like ring of the zodiac can result in more actual dps gain.

Focus + Restraint is currently the best ring combo for raw dps, If you can use a generator and a spender atleast once every 5 seconds.

But sometimes you simply need a ring of royal grandeur for your build to work, or you need a unity to survive.

What lots of people are wondering these days is what ring to take for the second slot, when focusing on raw dps.

I'll be comparing the old king of the single ring dps ( stone of jordan ) to the new, better option.

Convention of elements has a 200% buff to every element on a rotation, only the elements available to your class will go on rotation, this means that you will either have 4 or 5 elements on rotation. 200% divided among 4 or 5 elements means either a 40% or a 50% damage boost on average to ALL elements, on top of that there's the fact that the rotation always happens in the same order so you can time your offensive cooldowns or your positioning with the ring procs. For example you can back off to heal and go back in when the ring is at the right element.

But even when you completely ignore this rotation and just normally play, it'll still average to either 40% or 50% to all elements.

Let's compare these stats to a stone of jordan

    Stone of jordan :

2 primary rolls ( crit + socket would be optimal )

    20% Elemental damage

    30% Elite damage

    Convention of Elements

4 primary rolls ( Crit chance, damage, socket, mainstat/AS )

    50% or 40% element damage.

Difference/conclusion => You trade in 30% elite damage for 20 or 30% elemental damage bonus, while also gaining another 2 primaries. This is definitely a clear winner over stone of jordan in every build.

posted a message on I see no barbs in group play, should I worry ?

Solo will be able to compete with other classes, groups simply don't need a barbarian, anything we bring to a group, a different class can do better.

posted a message on 2.2 PTR Barbarian Testings

what build do you think would be best for doing T6 speedfarming in 2.2? I'm having a hard time deciding between some R BK / IK set or just using furious charge raekors. I'm having a hard time fitting in chilanik's in the BK build, maybe just drop the focus/restraint for Rorg? Will the damage be enough to 1 second kill elites on T6 if I drop those to run Rorg with chilaniks/BK/IK ?

I'll definitely be testing out these things once they hit live but it'd be nice to have some ideas already on what gearset to get for my legendary speedfarming.

posted a message on Attain 50 PUR minimum with Totd and Avarice Band
With how much gold find scales on torment level and how few seconds you actually save by increasing your pickup radius from 27 => 57 , using an actual strong ring instead of avarice and just upping the torment one level ( or even just from the increased killspeed on the same torment ) would be more beneficial.

    tier 50 - 79% chance , 1 rank upgrade , enforcer 22 => 23

Are the upgrades still linear at this point? If they are, the total Crit chance should be 54.5% on a Rank 23 Enforcer.
Could you post a screenshot of your Enforcer? Would be much appreciated!

Also, thank you to everyone for contributing! Keep the info coming!

Sorry I worded it pretty bad , my rank went from 2 to 3 , which made my crit chance go from 22=> 23

Blacktohrn belt + neck....if they only could fix the necks vitality affix to perhaps +elemental damage, alot mmore people would us this set.
For greater rifts you really need either the immunity amulet for arcane or lightning or a hellfire amulet. I'd go with hwoj myself because I'm planning to use the gem that does bonus damage against movement impaired enemies. Although the gems are pretty bugged on the PTR right now so it doesn't seem to be working at the moment that gem.
