Weapon attack speed x weapon attack speed % bonus(if applicable) x total % aps bonus (from other sources but weapon) x tnt bonus = final sentry bonus.
So if you're using a bow with 7% aps rolled, have a total of 34% attack speed bonus from gear and paragon, 45% tnt:
1.4x 1.07x 1.34x 1.45 = 2.9106
If you wanted to know how much aps% you needed to reach a breakpoint just take the breakpoint value and work backwards from the calculation (ie. 2.84210/ weapon attack speed/ tnt bonus = aps% needed from gear and paragon)
It's all in the spreadsheet mate, being calculated as you just described

On the 2.8 EA and CA are pretty close
If you can only reach a lower breakpoint CA is ahead.
Its because of higher breakpoints shooting alot more EAs.
For my etrayu and 2.85 build i use ca on boots and ea on helmet.
Because 2 different multipliers are stronger then one, if booth skills are similar strong.
I have the 2.85 breakpoint so I guess one each. I have 15% EA on boots so I will need to find a new helm before I add CA or should I switch by EA on boots to CA?

If you are below around 500'ish paragon, you will want a bow with attack speed % on it, because you want to reach 2.84 without using paragon in attack speed, as you have to detract it from your crit%, which is not ideal. If you have a good etrayu (no attack speed), then probably still do it, but otherwise get ias on your bow.
so let me get this right - My attack speed is 1.94 and my taskers is 47% so 1.92 x 1.47 = 2.85 , so I'm good correct?
I'm running a melee strafe build, and surprisingly enough it has brought me up to torment with no effort.
I'm looking for enaching this build and push myself up o the limito to see if it's viable for endgame or not (well, i already know that it's hard to compete with Mara6, but if i manage to get to GR30+ i'll be more than satisfied).
I think bagstone has a very conservative estimate but he's right on the reasons why. I say at least a month away, tops 2 months. Seasons and jewels haven't even been implemented yet so there's still a lot of testing and tuning that has to be done.
3 months minimum - this isn't about just releasing a major patch (which normally takes 6 weeks) but also releasing a new product to console - your looking at 3 months MINIMUM to avoid any business conflict with the console sales
