Thanks for the replies :). I definately don't want to play the AH, it's boring and I suck at it in every game I play. Crafting for upgrades is a good idea but I can't een afford flawless star gems let alone several crafts :P. Farming for more paragon levels is the way to go I guess I'm having fun anyway.
EDIT: Buying gold is not an option, no way I'm going to add that retarded and annoying authenticator lol.

With D3 being a gear-based game I don't think adding more percs to paragon is a good idea. It makes more stats useless on gear and removes even more of the "unique" feel your character has. With D2 you had your primary stats and your skill choices that made your character unique, now all you have to make your character stand out is your paragon level since you can already swap skills around at will.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Hey, I returned to D3 a couple of weeks ago and found out all the gear I had is now worthless. I only had 3m in the bank also. I got some gear from friends and bought some cheap rares so I now have pretty decent stats (in fact I have stats I could only dream of when I quit). But with the threshold for an expensive piece of gear being much higher right now it's really hard to find something I can sell. Seling my shit rares to the vendor is a horrible way of making money so I was wondering if there are other ways to earn money other than just playing the game and hoping for a rare drop. I'm at 65k dps with 600 AR so I clear mp3 pretty fast solo.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

^Sick monk, your gloves lack vit and resistances but I don't really think you need them :P 9.5/10Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I just started playing again after quitting around the time paragon levels were introduced, all barb and wd builds looked really boring so I made a monk. Got some gear from a friend (the innas and the weapons) and used the 3m I had to buy some cheap legendaries. I already faceroll through inferno mp0 and got my first ever Diablo kill yesterday, things sure changed especially considering my rating out of 10 will be in the negatives

I remember reading in a devblog that the item type makes a slight difference for the drop rate. So if you have an approximate 20% chance to drop an iLevel 62 item in A3 (pulling this number out of my ass) this meant that for example an amulet would drop 18% of the time while a chestpiece had a 22% chance.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

- I didn't buy gear from the AH till hell, you are doing something wrong I think.
- No way you did A2 nightmare in D2 without going back to farm for better gear.

The hardest one I encountered so far (and still remember, I got the 5K elites achievement a while ago so go figure^^ ) was one in hell A4. The mages in the second part of the act who summon meteors with Illusionist, mortars and fear. Illusionist on those guys is bad enough already because there is not a single area without an incoming meteor but fearing mortars on top of that was ridiculous.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
