based on the stuff that is not selling on the AH, i would say below 500m... but not too much below. Gratz on this awesome piecePosted in: US Servers Trading

They are amazing. The problem is that there are a bunch of legendary and set items that are best in slot for boots. Therefore I'm not sure if people still would put out 100m+ for these.Posted in: US Servers Trading

I hope this never happens! This is the biggest killer for any kind of build diversityPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I was just browsing the AH, and found a few auctions for valuable items with a bid of zero. Biding on them doesn't work obviously. I wonder if they are placed to catch AH bots or something like that...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Here's a screenshot:
or is there a simpler explanation? Can you post an item with 0 starting bid and thus break the system?

While there might be bots around, it's not always bots that snatch those items. Sometimes when I'm bored I sit there with my search parameters and try to see if something interesting comes up for a low price.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I don't think I can compete with the bots, since I need a few seconds to evaluate an item, but bought quite a few items within the first minute of being available, at good prices. If you multiply that with hundreds or thousands of people who are doing the same, you don't need a bot to understand these fast sales

I just tested, put a worthless Legendary up for 500k and it's immediately available in the AH if you do the following:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Put the legendary name in the search box
Sort the auctions by time left (little arrow pointing down)
This also works for rares. Just checked with a rare belt.

well if it doesnt show in search results, how can you buy it?
Well, as I said above, some items show up in the time ordered search before they show up anywhere else. So maybe that search doesn't respect the 5 minute (or actually, 1 minute) rule.
It might be that this only happens for legendaries or something... I don't know.

It's not roundPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I'm serious. If you look at Alkaizers route, it's also built such that you reduce TP times and such. E.g. you start at the checkpoint before Azmodan and run back to the WP, TotD lvl 1 you make one circle from WP back to the WP, and in fields you also make one circle. The two areas where you actually port are Keep lvl 2 and Arreat lvl 2... those are just crazy XP, so it's worth it.
Rakki is not bad, and if you read one of Alkaizers interviews you see that he only strictly stuck to his route for the last 10 paragon levels, for much of the rest he did siegebreaker - azmodan and similar runs.
A lot of people include Rakkis in their runs. Personally most of the time I skip it... it's too random.

2h and LoH doesn't work. LoH relies on attack speed, and with a 2h you attack so slow that even if you get full LoH from rings and amulets, it won't be enough.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
If this was softcore, I would just farm low monster levels and rely on health globes, but in hc, you need a more safe strategy... get back to LoH and dual wield, and get those resists up.
