Awesome! Love condemn as a skill and I found my Blade of Prophecy too late after that build was nerfed so now I might be able to use it :)

posted a message on help fix my crus!
I'm at work so I don't have a lotta time to got into a long reply but basically sheet DPS is quite "meaningless" as sacrificing some sheet DPS but gaining some elemental dps (i.e. +20% fire/lightning/cold/whatever damage) will increase your damage substantially.

    This is my Crusader:http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Stuyf-2717/hero/39008579

I recently switched from fire based build (where I reached up to +107% fire damage) to holy-shotgun as I found a nice Fate of the Fell but I'm trying to have a combination of good base stats such as CHC, CHD, IAS, Strength combined with some extra elemental damage such as in this case +Holy damage. (don't mind the cindercoat. Need to replace that with something else :) )

    Hope this helped.

Mate, Ofc you don't have to prove anything, it is a discussion on a internet forum.

My point from the beginning is that with cap cdr you are more effective than without. And there is two ways to get max cdr on 2hn crusader - full 6pc AK set with max rolls on cdr everywhere on the gear or 5 pc with RORG and crimson set. That being said, you can still manage to do fine with 52-3 % cdr when using holy shotgun build for example. but it will be less efficient (i.e. take you more time to complete a rift ). That is why, it is very good to have cdr on your weapon for higher torment difficulties. CDR is valuable, but it also costs a lot - you have to trade it for other stats (like cdr on amulet instead of CC, or cdr on both rings, etc.) that is why it makes no sense to roll dmg instead of cdr on FOTF.
I've known your point from the start mate But this is the first time you don't sound like a complete %$$^#[email protected] :P

I agree that 10% CDR would have made it an ultimate weapon. But the fact of the matter is that if you are ok with a few seconds downtime between champ-mode and normal mode then its a nice weapon with a high damage.

Good! Now I also can now go back to being my charming self :) :) :)

Well, I have 57% CDR without CDR on my Fate of the Fell - permanent Champion up -- So why exactly did he ruin it? Sick high DPS on your weapon is the best damage increase you can get, as everything else scales off of that.
You have 57 % CDR, but you use crimson set and RORG, which is less efficient that running with unity and harrington belt. I have 56 % cdr on my crusader with crimson and RORG, it is still extremely good on T6, even without the unity, but the unity dmg reduction would be far more efficient. The point is that if you get it on the weapon you free other slots, that' all. And don't get me started of how hard is to find FoTF with socket or max cdr.
so why not run Unity + RORG? There's 2 ring slots.
Because SoJ is mandatory, that is why. It was implied. Have you ever played crusader? Srsly, im asking.
Yup. I play T5 and obviously take it far less serious then you do.

You don't need AC to be 100% up time. You don't need AC when looting or running to the next pack and so on, which usually takes a few seconds.
Exactly! That's what I would do as well if I had OP's FoTF and thus he didn't ruin it imo.
T5 is T6 mate. And asking questions like "so why not run Unity + RORG? There's 2 ring slots", i seriously doubt you play beyond t2-3.

Btw, thank you, i will write down that there are two ring slots, just in case...
U know what the best part is? I run T5 just fine and I don't have to prove it to ya :)

That kind of a damage will be able to brute force him to T4 easily, and allow him to obtain his 6pc Akkhan's set and go for a CDR build later down the line.
Akkhan's can be obtained starting from T1, no need to go to T4.
No, but it is quite obvious that the higher a torment level you can do effectively, the quicker you will obtain loot...
Tell that to the RNG gods pls! Been running T4 and T5 for weeks now and still at 3p Akkhan :( :( :(

Ok, let me explain the situation: A guy comes pretending to ask a question about a weapon dmg reroll, when in fact he wants to brag about his high dps FOTF.

    Wow that's cynical!

Although, if you play more casual which I assume he is, that weapon will improve the everyday gaming session significantly while farming lower torments where there's no need for perma-AC. Don't be blinded by the BiS-build that you have in your head. In my opinion, he didn't ruin that weapon at all.
    That!
Oh he ruined it...even if he does not play shotgun build, the only other viable option for FoTF (for T1-T4) would be ascendancy with EC Shield, which gives 50 % cooldown reduction on Heaven's fury. If he had rerolled cdr, he would have had even less downtime of heaven's fury.

The bottom line is he ruined the weapon.

    It is THAT simple.
Again, maybe if you really into min-maxing and playing at a hardcore lvl (not the gamemode :P ) but tbh, I prefer T5 over T6 anyway, just an easier way of gaming so to me that weapon would be fine as it is. With our without that 10% CDR. Don't need BIS to have fun :)
