Very good job on the first post, it really got me interested in how MF actually works.
So I decided to start farming elites (because I'd rather farm them than goblins) and I also wanted to know whether there is any difference between different acts and rares/champions. After killing a little over 500 elite packs, about 250 in act 1 and 250 in act 2 with 0 MF it seemed that there is no difference between them so I just combined those two pieces of data together.
But after killing those 229 rare packs and 277 champion packs the percentage of the different gear classes that I got looks like this:
White
Magic
Rare
Rare
37,96%
50,61%
11,30%
Champion
37,32%
53,52%
9,15%
There is a slight difference in magic and rare items but I guess that could be just RNG playing a trick on me.
Anyway, next I'm going to continue farming more elites with 0-75 mf (only NV).
