Is anyone else having an issue with their profile on battle.net not displaying correct stats?
My profile shows all my gear but the damage and toughness are way off. Damage is off by 50k and toughness is off by 500k. The dex and vit totals are off too.

The best advide would be do it in a group. There is no reason to try soloing when there are hundreds of people ready to run with you, and it's not like they reduce your odds for the items
THIS all the way! Solo is waaaaay harder than in a group, even if it's just a group of two. I'm not quite as far along as you (I can farm act I, MP3 easily), but even turning the uber fights down to MP1 and going with a friend they're tough.
If you are looking to get a hellfire ring then definitely find a good group and have at it. i'm really enjoying the challenge of seeing how high i can cramp up the MP and still solo ubers though. it's a nice change of pace.

thanks. that looks like what i was getting in game. so i plugged in the stats from a Skorn being used by a top end monk (Tokio) and i would only see a modest (~8k) dps gain if i were to spend hundreds of millions. guess i will stick to my dual wielding!Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I've been thinking of picking up a Skorn just to mix it up every once in a while since I see some top end monks using them.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I use D3up.com for all my comparison needs. When I equip a skorn i've had for awhile (1370dps, 301 dex, 259 total CD), d3up shows i will get a massive dps increase (40k+) and when i hover over it in my stash in game it also shows what will be a massive increase. However when i actually equip it then i lose dps. so my question is, how would i go about getting an accurate preview of my damage with a skorn so i don't spend all sorts of gold on one only to be dissappointed when it doesn't increase anything? on d3up i've tried un-equipping my offhand and then equipping the skorn but it still isn't right.

wow 109 fire resist on that chest. never seen a resist that high. nice monk, well balanced too. I would say your life is low but that is with an experience gem in the helm, even with that i am guessing your high resist armor and LS make you regen quite nicely anyways. I just looked on the AH (US, i know you are EU) you could get the same chest with a 3rd socket for dirt cheap (under 3m). Sorry about the only advice i can offer without getting into ridiculous gold amounts.
my monk, feedback welcome:
waiting on better prices to upgrade a few gems.

I've got a Butcher's Sickle equipped and an EF in my stash so I will test out the combination and see. Based on the proc rate I am seeing with the Sickle and how often I saw stuff running away with the EF, I don't think the Sickle will offset the EF but hopefully I am wrong. It doesn't seem to me that it really procs 25% of the time so I think there is a cooldown on it.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

this lol. died many times because of that but really if I just pay attention a bit more it can be avoided. DeadlyBonne makes some great points. It can be annoying but if you learn to control it properly it is a big help.Quote from Bananaramaaah
yeah, the cc itself is pretty nice, but i cant stop running around in molten when chasing...

Maybe it has something to do with the maintenance that was done since no one could post new auctions while it was downPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
