In Diablo 2 every piece, EVERY piece of gear I wore I found.
In Diablo 3 every piece of gear I am wearing since I hit 60 I bought in the Gold AH.
Every bit of your argument towards the idea that the drop rate is fine is based around the auction house and sustaining an economy. That's great but when that kind of idea of contrasted against what Diablo was before May 15th, it is quite different. This is the kind of crap that drives me crazy about D3.
In Diablo 2, you could faceroll just by outleveling the content.
In Diablo 3, you cannot outlevel the content.
Why is this so hard to comprehend? (think about how this effects what "good" gear is)
Hahaha... dude what? Are you serious with this? I can't even begin to understand how someone could actually type this out.
it's to avoid people teleporting into town into after every champ pack and changing skills (I guess cause that would suck) but it seems like it's more of a gear check problem so you can't spam change to suit the packs and bosses without a penalty
Also known as critical thinking. I'm reminded of the original GW. I had what had to be near a hundred skills from 2 classes at once and I could come up with my own builds for a different set of mobs/dungeons. The builds people would come up with, including hero builds were just amazing. The dynamics it created in the game really adds to the replay value.
I just don't understand the intent to pigeon hole people in D3. They keep saying they want people to find a build they like and stick with it. This just doesn't make sense. Why? Why do people have to find a build they like and stick with it? My theory is they don't want to alienate casual players and console gamers into stressful situations where they feel in order to beat a certain pack they have to use different builds. That's fine, but they pretty much gutted this entire game to devoid of any thought process.
Wow must be nice. I get about 4-5 rares from that exact same run in the same amount time. Haven't seen a single elite pack drop a rare since Thursday. Only rares I get are from Warden and Butcher.
You're supposed to use the RMAH. That's how this works. This isn't a normal gamers game. You can listen to the fanbois all you want, but this game is about the RMAH. That's it. Use real money to buy your gear or find something else.
I enjoy it too, the fact that sooo many people are still playing means they enjoy it too. Its just that they are silly demanding fools who expect the same amount of content from a once off game as a subscription game.
Weird considering Blizzard just came out saying they agree with those "fools" that there needs to be more things to do at end game.
I've never really seen Diablo 2 & 3 as a game that required any real player skill to edge out, this game is 95% item based 4% skill selection and 1% player skill. Probably WoW is more into player skill especially in PVP.
I wonder how many % numbers are made up on the spot, on the internet? Probably 90%.
So I have 97K dps with SS but a weak base dps without it. Only 34K. I'm fairly new to the class so I'm not sure what I really need more of. I was thinking I need more crit chance or at least try and balance out crit dmg and crit chance more. Either way, I'm having trouble killing elites from Siegebreaker on and am looking for some advice on any obvious upgrades. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help at all.
