Ok heres another Data-Set out of 100 Goblins 278% MF

    Items: 256
    Whites %: 28.13 (72)
    Blues %: 43.75 (112)
    Rares %: 27.73 (71)
    iLvl61 %: 42.97 (110)
    iLvl62 %: 36.72 (94)
    iLvl63 %: 19.92 (51)
    iLvl63 Rare %: 4.30 (11)

Those data are in no way similar to the current trend. Do you only count items with iLvl of 60+?

yes only iLvl 61+ data, other data is way too much, i could upload my Numbers file so you can check it out, but its Mac not Windows

EDIT: oh wait, i did forget the 1 legendary drop in this set :)

oh yes there is a need, because iLvl counts a lot, since everyone wants to have a good iLvl 63 roll :)

Yes of course, but the iLvl %'s are static, so on average you will get the same iLvl anyhow.
If you say you got 9/159 rares of iLvl 63 that makes ~5.7% of iLvl 63 which (in act II) should be 9.3% since the hotfix. RNG is RNG.
How about those white items/total items counted? :b

in my next data set ;) right now at goblin # 12

EDIT: btw. do you just go after the goblin or do you destroy the bone piles too?

ok i've got another Sample Size, it's not as accurate as yours, but it's still some data

    MF: 278% Goblins killed: 100
    Magic Items: 178
    Rare Items: 159
    Rare iLvl 63 Items: 9

as you can see, the drop rates did increase, but unfortunately 9 rare iLvl 63 items out of 159 isn't a lot, and not to mention all of them were crap rolls

EDIT: I'm doing another run, this time with more accurate data (iLvls, goblins, etc.)

Is there any chance you also collected the # of white items? Or just the number of total items collected as that will allow me to calculate backwards.
There is no need for you to collect info on iLvl btw.

Just out of curiousity: Do you use gear swapping?

thats just an example ;) had many runs today, my bags were most times filled with blues rather than yellows, i'd say 5-6 yellows rest blues or i just had a really bad day ^^ but i'll do the test and see what i can find

could it be that there is some kind of a break-even point at which u get less blues but also less yellows because the chance to get a yellow is still not high enough?

290% MF how do you achieve this high MF? are you playing a witch doctor?

    I am playing Demon Hunter.
Every piece other than my weapon has MF.on it and most of the items are close to max MF. Especially the headpiece has a large amount of MF as a result of socketing a topaz.
While the gear is far from fitting to kill elites it is just enough to kill goblins in time. I am working on upgrading the MF gear so I can go and collect data from elites.

Put simple: I barely own a penny as I am constantly pushing it higher ^_^

hmmm, so you are still getting enough yellows and blues? or maybe its just RNG for me ^^

Just ran a few goblins (~12-13) with 290 MF and while I saw quite a bit of blues, things looked alright.

290% MF how do you achieve this high MF? are you playing a witch doctor?

did they changed anything to the goblins? I've noticed I'm getting rarely yellows and much more blues since today 261%MF

EDIT: ok, rarely yellows and less blues, kinda strange, sometimes just 1 blue from a goblin

I do not know of any changes.

does the data for iLvl 63 items cover every item found, whites blues and rares or just rares?

It covers every item found - iLvl is rolled separate to item quality.
ok thanks for this reply, I'm also farming these goblins for quite a time, i have 265% MF, got lucky with 2 Set Items but they were crap Tal Rasha's Guardianship 2 times ^^
