Big thanks to all of you, for your straightforwarded replies. It helps, even to be told that ones gear is mleh ;). I didn't know about the 100 Armor = 10 res -factor you wrote, Turtel, thanks; neither did I factor in the effect of leap, which I can see might change the playstyle quite a bit.
Didn't know that IAS is crap as 2h; thanks for that info as well.
As I can see you've already forseen how "well" I'm doing in Act 3;... It helps with the details about what stats (and amount avaible) on certain slots.
I'm glad you're not trying to convince me too hard to go DW/SnB (done some runs as SnB, but it felt too slow; yet possible).
// Best regards, and thanks for the details/advises.

Greetings users of this glorious site.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Now, I've been looking around on this site, and haven't found any "big" usefull posts regarding 2h specs, as most people rely on dualwielding whirlwind stuff.
I don't really enjoy the whirlwinding, I'm more into... <Kill stuff with a single badass hit (-ish), while wielding a weapon that looks to be bigger than my character>>...
I'm not a rich player, despite having an awesome MF find on an "alt", as I tend to risk my gold on Blacksmithing-lotto. Thus I'm almost always at around 5-8m gold... (One might call me an idiot on Auction House as well!). So, my "budget" is limited, as I don't fancy buying all best-in-slot-legendary/set items... I'd like to hunt for them instead.
But the problem arises past Act 1+2. I do some nice big hits to rare/elite/champs (And I really do hate Invul-affix) in those two acts. Some mobs I skip intentionally as they do too much damage to my skinny bitch (My barb is female), and causes her to bite the dust more often than i can breathe Irl.
I know that Allres, Crit+CritDmg is... well, I guess they're ment as core stats(?), but can anyone make me some guidelines as to what sort of items, or spec, I should be using?
* I seem to have read, that Lifesteal is pretty crappy on Inferno, and It does seem like it, even with hard hits; thus I'm using Revenge+Charge in my spec.
* Is there a "magic number" regarding crit-chance or critdmg?
* I Assume Life on Hit is kinda useless, unless it exceeds 950+, with my current set of talents...
Inb4 "u need moar allres", that I am aware of. But what stats would you advise that I should aim for, when I'm not interested in paying 1-8+mill pr. itemslot ?
Profile is named http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/ZcyTeck-2721/hero/5824441, if you wish to visit battle.net for further details.
Thanks In advance.

Sure, you can get upgrades, but reading how he never gets above 500k,... Well, it was kinda made for slow-gamers. I'm that kind.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I perfectly understand that fast-item-runs are great, but sometimes speedkilling isn't that much fun, for some of us. Might just be me.
Salvaging a item that sells to vendor for 200gold, into a essence that sells for 1700ish, and giving that you'll find quite some magic items (depending on your routes)... Well.
- Depending on your luck, you'll might find an item worth something. I just rarely happens to me, so thought it might help him a bit with the slow version of gold gathering, if his luck in items wasn't that high either.

Don't know if you're doing this or not...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Items in general sells for ~200-1500 tops(?) to Vendor.
Exquisite Essence is around 17-1800 each.
Crap items that are ilvl 61-63 = Salvage.
Rings/amulets/follower tokens at ilvl 60+ that are crap = Salvage.
Go to AH, sell exquisite essences at the price listed. Don't undercut. It'll sell !! I usually go there to buy essences; sometimes sell (I'm a bit of a idiot, I know) when I'm running low on cash.
-- I rarely find items that doesn't have str+int affixes (or some other not-so-awesome affixes), as well as 700+ dps weapons. So, Items I throw on AH is scarce. Essences I throw on AH... Is a lot.
-- Don't buy things either. Have some patience for drops to come; as they will eventually.
Might help you a bit.

Greetings people @ Diablofans.comPosted in: Off-Topic
I've been, for quite a long time, recording my gameplay in both Diablo 3 and other games (such as battlefield 3). However... My internet bandwidth is not so high (upload is around 175kb/s at best).
I was wondering... Is there a way to reduce the filesize of fraps raw files (mine are usually 4gb parts)?
- Without the use of haxprograms such as Vegas and the likes.
It takes me... QUITE some time to upload a video to youtube, and always given up after 3 hours. One time, It had tried to run an entire night, but at some point, the interwebs had disconnected. Mlegh!.
So... How do I edit / compres(?) a fraps file into something smaller, without hurting it's graphics, as I've been trying to fix a "how to kill- guide" -in a classforum?

I'm sitting on an old computer, and it stalls when entering heavily graphical sites (such as battle.net).. so, no links, sorry. Anyway, I'm below 10 post, so that wouldn't be possible.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
How I did it.
~300 Poisonresist; 200 allresist (physical etc.).
~25-30k hp. (Life% helps alot vs. pure Vita)
2x 1h Crosbow with ~7-800 Life On Hit EACH. (Dual Wield)
(Ignore weapon dps. I used 487 and 502 dps(!)). Cheap weapons for about 50k each; one had Int, the other had vitality)
Enchantress follower (with charm/armor/pool of purple stuff/attackspeed).
1: Caltrops (any version. I started with tortorus ground the first time; and are currently using the last in the line (cant remember name right now, but gives +10crit for standing in the trap)).
2: Shadow Power (gloom).
3: Preperation (...The one that slowly ticks your dicipline back up).
4: Sentry Turret (Guardian Turret).
M1: Grenades (Gas Grenades).
M2: Any. Chakrams (shuriken) / Ele arrow... Doesnt really matter. You won't be using it.
Custom Engineering; Nightstalker(random of your choice); Numbing Traps.
Run in his face and place yourself just next to the coloumn on the right side. Place your turret and a Caltrop. Target him and start casting grenades. His first few hits will hit you very hard, so be ready with Shadow Power.
Keep counting to yourself to 3, then place a new caltrop. Over and over. Only use grenades. You'll likely hear your DH saying "I need healing" -cryouts, but don't worry.
When his blobs spawn, your Life on Hit will gain the bonus from both Ghom and blobs.
- I personally tried with Stun Grenades in this fight, also later on with higher LoH and Resist... Didn't work. Only Gas grenades. (I assume the ticks from Gas works with LoH).
You can easily feel if you've forgotten to place the caltrops. At some point during the fight, you'll need to replace the turret... Do so, if you feel you have enough dicipline for it; else pop the preperation and use it there.
*Edit: With your stats... Just get two 1h crosbows and the above talents... You should be fine this way)*
--- This is how I did it. I had 0 NV buffs the first time, as I ... Like you, just hit a wall and tried almost everything.
Oddly enough, this works. Low resist, but somewhat higher life-pool than normally; ~8k dps(!); ~1700 Life On Hit.
Hope you'll try this.

If you're truely dedicated, OP, you stick with the game and accept any patch/update to the game, regardless of any opinion towards the change(s).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Right? Or is it just me who feels this way?
- Or did I misunderstand the word "dedicated"; hence English isn't my native language?

Let's just hope they did not increase it too much.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
- Sure, it was crap with lvl. 51 items in Act 3 Inf, but... Mjaeh. Rather something around 60-63; It's a delicate balance. Two rares might make me want to do Cydaea again. Maybe.

I might be a bit wrong here, but the stats on Natayla set items ... Are there not better out there? - Maybe except for the chest piece with the correct +main ability function. But... Is it really worth it, with the set-bonus?Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
