It basically gave me the best overview to aim for each piece of gear. In terms of your gear the above listed for MH and OH are good. You could also go for +Armor and All Resistance on your Belt and shoulders. Crit chance could be found on bracers. For rings, ammy, and gloves I aim for as much damage stats as possible like Int, Crit Chance, Crit damage and IAS, and less survivability stats. Life regeneration is also a good survivabilty stat to look for on chest, pants, belt and shoulders. That is my humble opinion.
Relatively new to Wizard and currently running through Act 2 Inferno. My question is how do I effectively use Life Regen and is it a viable route for a kiting/glass cannon type style? I understand for this to work Force Armor would be used with high Res All, high Armor and low life. Any body successfully using life regen as a core stat? Is it expensive to gear?
I played a witch doctor before and never really used the stutter step with my splinters build. Now that I am using the wiz and also saw TryHard's video I gave it a shot and would have to say the stutter step has given me a great deal of success even with the monsters on screen. In reference to keeping them off screen, I have teleport in my build and I mainly keep them off screen if they have teleport, vortex, waller or jailer since from experience they dont use it if they are off screen. But otherwise two-step away with them on screen. You get better at it over time and the biggest difference is noticed with monsters that throw missles at you. Stuttering to the side has them missing you 8 out of 10 times. FYI I use Shock Pulse + Piercing Orb and Blizzard for my main skills and I am currently finishing Act 2 Inferno with little deaths.
Seriously, if I have to explain to anyone the flaw in these stats........
Just a quick statistical tidbit. Accurate surveys are not based on total population percentage but statistical formulas. Therefore a sample size of 100,000 is more than enough, overkill even, to gauge the trend of a 7,000,000 person population depending on confidence intervals and what not.
