posted a message on Low Dmg and Survivability compared to others (Gear Check)
your gear is good, but your skills kinda weird, dashing strike should be radiance for more damage and to procc flying dragon or blind speed which acts like an extra agility making u really strong every time u use it. that should be enough

then u want to use fire ally with crudest boots to increase your damage by 40%, things that die fast don't kill u. Not much reason to use spirit ally when u can do alot of damage with fire ally.

as passive beacon of ytar is better then sixth sense, with more cdr, u will have desert shroud op faster, and that makes u survive against elite packs

the classic option would be to no use mystic ally and breath of heaven with beacon of ytar so u can spam heals for spirit and staying alive

most of your problems come from having no healing,u can be superstrong but u still need a way to regain life, breath of heaven + cdr and loh of lss on weapon gives u enough healing,

so yeah not sure why u use air ally, the spirit u gain there, u can gain from breath of heaven while also getting healing, so two flies in one stone. If u use mystic ally, u wanne use it for the damage increase

lasty to make it easy mode, u can level up the goldgem and use goldwrap as belt, with all the gold u find it will make u superstrong and u can make a crazy full damage build.

33 and going up, my advice would be to focus on damage and not on survival. faster things die, the better and in the end to get high, u will need to get all damage u can get.

for solo i would say mantra of conviction annihilation or any rune u prefer, seem to do better when things die fast then with the healing or agility one.

Depends what your running, in the end, not enough dps will limit u in greater rifts, so you'll need to boost it

posted a message on What Rift farming build Without Sunwuko set?
for donhoof, easy fix for u is to do crafting, craft aughild combo bracer and shoulders, for damage reduction and more damage against elites

and craft the hellcat belt which can roll attack speed for more damage, i presume u have these recipes...

these are easy and cheap boosts to damage and survival if the recipes dropped for u

posted a message on Sunwuko soj reroll question
    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/highlife-2589/hero/44075406

My monk, im following the guidelines from quisane, but on rings and amulet im not sure what to give up for the gem slot. Quisane says on amulet he prefers crit damage, so i take that there instead of crit chance, on rings im not sure what to do, giving up crit chance on rings will drop my crit chance with 12% and the pain enhancer needs crit to work well. So wondering what kind of minimum crit chance is there for this build.

Im not wearing my ring of royal grandeur, since im testing out the gem and don't want to reroll a gem slot on it, untill im sure whats best. In perfect world i would find a good rorg to make the choice easier ehhe

If any high greater rifts monks visit, show me your armory so i can take a look how u dudes gear,

    Hello

What the preferred stats on soj when having the choice between elemental damage, gemslot or critical chance. I have some soj's but sadly gonna need to give something up from these three.. What would be best? basicly, elemental damage or critical chance on soj if u can't have both?

posted a message on When Rift if Foward becomes in-effective.
i think rift it forward will be alive in a different form, everyone who joins for the last boss will need to pay 1 key. Which will make it worthwile, since i never liked farming for keys, so i never had enough, but if i only have to pay 1 key, i can farm enough keys to kill the final boss.

Paying 1 key is basicly having a free rift for whoever starts it, but the community will shift more to invite anyone who wants to kill the final boss.

Overal i see this as a win for slackers like me, with 40 keys i can enter or start 40 rifts. Before that was 8 rifts, now 40. I believe the community will grow even bigger. The need for people to open rifts is removed, but people still want the loot from the end and will surely be able and willing to pay 1 key for that.

Its already hard for people to joing groups now, that people join groups easy even when they know they will loose their keys.. Just gonna be about being able to get into groups now, since groups gonna be filled fast and how willing people gonna be to share their endboss.

posted a message on Is t4 without unity about the same damage as T6 with it?
the spike damage will be gone, u still take a decent amount of damage, but u wont suddenly die because an elite jumps u. makes it more controllable..

your not immortale tho, bad situations or elite packs can still kill u, but u won't suddenly die and think what happened. If u die it will be your own fault by being in a bad spot.

posted a message on What people are really trying to say about the current loot buff
just wanted to say that bis gear does not make u farm t6, sadly in my opinion high paragon levels will achieve this goal.

the gear will help but paragon helps alot more, being able to max out tree especially in the defense tree adds alot to farm higher.

i don't believe too much gear will ever be a problem, being paragon 400 makes things so much easier.

So even if everyone has gear they want, they have a road to go till high paragon, besides that to make a really strong char u need your bis item to drop several times to get your decent drop.

See most hardcore people farmed up paragon pre ros, so they had several p100 chars, so when they entered ros they had p500 paragon, just by having that u already made the game too easy for u.

Being paragon 10 or a new player has it much harder, actually i feel more power in my char due to levelling up then i felt with gear, except when u got good weapons those are boost also.

Eventually everyone will beat t6, just by being higher paragon, the question remains once u achieve 500 paragon levels, what fun did u have till u reached it,

The problem is not the gear, the problem is that there is nothing to use your gear for...its pointless to have bis gear or weak gear, we all farm the same game, lower or higher torment , same old same old.

posted a message on What people are really trying to say about the current loot buff
i want to play the game now, even though i did not play so much before, i had basicly alot of good gear already, being lucky on drops i guess. Just found my tf after 240 paragon levels later. Still missing some items that never dropped an soj and decent amulet with good stats.

Still one week after the game was out many people had tf and shard, here lies the main problem and frustration, i took me 240 paragon levels to get a first drop. Not sure how many hours that is, i did find good lootz along the way. I feel this game does not reward playing long hours tho, loot seems to drop best the first hours after that it fizzles out and is unrewarding. So playing a few hours feels best for me. However with this buff its the same thing, but i actually wanne keep going.

The game is pretty boring if u don't get gamechanging loot tho, if only 1 legendary drops in 1 day i would be happy if it was build changing. Items need to compete with special procs and fun factor instead dps wise. I love my ess of yohan, its decent but eventually a high dps rolled amulet will beat it by miles. I still not gonna give it up because i like the effect.

Loot should be like that, so fun that u wanne use it even when losing dps, i wanne use a halycon amulet but so impossible to get dps out of it. i think they nailed it with the amulets they are truly different and game changing, problem here is that rolls can be so bad that it gonna be a long while to get one thats imba. if rolls were a bit less random so they were more usefull u can have alot of fun with amulets, but spending money on rerolling weak ones is a bad idea unless u got too much of it.

every slot should have like 5-6 top choices, not all dps related but things u really wanne use, that make your char do cool stuff, special effects, anything that makes u feel different when using it. As a monk for example make an item double the size of sweeping winds,u might loose dps but maybe farm better and make u look different from other players. Cool items that are not far behind dps wise are where the game needs to go. Do not make cool affixes on items when the item cannot compete, legendaries should be tiered, while u farm u play with the cool stuff, eventually to find the really bis dps ones. But along the way, items need to be worthwile, thats the main problem, the journey is so boring, that its not fun, at least when items drop more u have a feeling it can be different untill that 0.1% item drops.

im still fnding items i never found before with this buff, so yes they suck, but many hours of playtime and rngjesus sometimes just don't wanne give u stuff. Without game changing legends i would have quite long time ago, but since some dropped, u have more fun.

Without this buff i will go back to boost levelling people, actually had more fun in helping people then farming for legendaries. Since the buff full on farm mode. Heheh Farming the game is too boring, that u need other stuff to do, competitive elements for pve would help alot, so your not thinking about loot but can do other stuff and while u doing that something nice drops maybe

posted a message on Weapon damage and items that are based on it
Another follow up question, i see people rerolliing attack speed on tf instead of % damage. So would that suggest that higher damage isnt so important in this case and the attackspeed is used to get more procs?

Also if thundergod vigor only proc on mainhand dps, then having one high dps mainhand would get the max out of the belt, while your offhand could be lower dps, or does thundergod base its damage and switches when a weapon is used

posted a message on Weapon damage and items that are based on it
    Goodday

I just got a nicely rolled tf with cdr on it. basicly i would like to keep the cdr even though i could get more damage out of the weapon rerolling % on it.

I would gain about probably 5% extra damage, which i would gladly give up to keep some extra cdr. Im just wondering how much im gimping myself by doing this. When items proc based on weapon damage which weapon do they choose, for instance thundergods vigor, does it base itself on the mainhand or offhand to do its damage.

Also if the tf would be higher damage, then i presume its proc would be much better?

Is there any math on this subject, how much weapon damage influence dps especially when having items that use procs. Basicly not rerolling i would loose about 60k dps or something, but do i loose like 100k dps from the proc items which will be lower. How does one calculate this to value it correctly.

thx if anyway can help with insight

posted a message on I'm concerned about seasons.
i don't think anyone will be enjoying their new ladder items very long, since the next season will have new items, so you'll be hunting again and again and never really playing maxed out for very long.

after some seasons u could make some crazy build with all these new items, but will u really be playing that much, as the next season comes and u again go hunting.

everyone will be stuck in a loop of regearing, if droprates suck like before this buff, then i don't think ladder will be fun, i don't see myself going through rng pain over and over.

droprates gonna be low for new items, so you'll be playing for months just to find them when u finally do have most, your gonna remake a new char and get the next new items.

whats the point in having cool items when new cool items are coming out again.

Ladder play will be the only viable playmethod in the game, since normal chars decked out in ladder items will beat torment 6 easy so whats the point in playing non-ladder which will be crushed.

hardcore ladders are probably the best, since losing your char won't be such a disaster as a new season gives hope.

ladders could be cool but they should have different rules then normal play, it should feel different, better drops, so gearing is fun and then it might work. Provide competiton like first kill torment 6 achievements in ladder or speed act cleans and stuff like that and reward cosmetic items. For casuals to play ladder, it should be a fun way to play like with the anniversary buff and the best players willl compete eachother with first kills and tiered rifts. i doubt many of the current plays will play ladder with crappy droprates. Too much pain, not enough reward hehe

posted a message on What spirit generator your using?
    Hello

Just wondering for lightning builds if your sticking with deadly reach or going for wotfh new lightning rune. Seems the woth is better single target but deadly reach seems better with shard, im bad at testing. Are they close together, is one much better? Deadly reach can hit more then 1 enemy while woth is more focused dps.
