I'd say 500 AR unbuffed, 1k LOH is a minimum to survive. This way ,in most cases, the life return from the tornado ticks will keep you alive. Damage then becomes the more the marrier... Crit is important to regain fury while sprinting, I'd aim for at least 35% crit chance. The crit damage is only there to increase you'r dps.
So in conclusion you should aim for AR on pieces that cant have crit chance or LoH to get it up to 500, then you should aim for crit chance on pieces that can have it (I always recommend attack speed as well on rings, just cause they can roll max on that affix, remember that attack speed affects tornado ticks which yields more life in return). Your LoH should be covered by your OH weapon (atleast 800) + some on your ammy.... Life leach is not of importance!

I don't say that the game is bad, but it lacks something what D2 had, i just don't want to play it anymore...
Not to be rude, but the chance of making money is the sadest reason I've ever heard for playing a game....

The first thing to pop in mind is "why"... The second is "if I was #1 in eu in a video game I would stop playing".Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

You do math well my friend.

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from nyjlYou need WW to move through mobs, and without it the whole build is garbage.
This! Sprint tornado are your main source of dps in this build. And to place down the tornados properly you need the ww to move through mobs, and as an extra bonus you are immune to knockback during ww.
Bringing in another dps skill which requires fury seems like a waste to me.

75m is probably 20 times more than what you could expect to get from this.... Do a search on AH with 160 dex and 10 crit and see what pops up, and if any of those have vit on them (and pref. one Resistance) you'll get a good idea of the price (yours would probably be worth more due to the 20% BC). I'm surprised if you get more than a few millions for it, even though the 20% block chance is rather nice.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Remember, if you find an equal shield, it doesnt mean that thats the value of the shield, if it has 2h left on the time (for example) it's probably overpriced...

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from ShadrozIf you can get a mace/axe main hand with Life on hit and high dps with str/crit damage/socket and "possibly" lifesteal, sever will make an amazing offhand regardless of the stats. You will also need lifesteal on your belt.
The more life on hit you have, the more effective your healing from tornadoes/whirlwind, unless you have ridiculously high dps, 100k dps unbuffed+, life on hit will definitely outshine lifesteal against champ/rare packs with double whirlwind. My problem was that my sword which I was using and replaced with Sever had 850 dps, 60% crit damage and 850 LOH, where as my mainhand has lifesteal.
As long as you gear appropriately, Sever is absolutely amazing in terms of keeping you at full health while getting 100+ kill streaks.
The problem with Sever as I see it is the lack of LoH AND a socket. Imo a weapon is nothing without the socket (you loose out on so much), and if you are a ww barb you need the 6-7-800 LoH on one weapon (most likely your OH). Which means if you want Sever as an OH you will use (as you said) a MH with high dps, socket and LoH, and these cost 1.000.000.000+!
However, you can get a Sever with high dps and a socket and use it as a MH. These are however rare and i presume way to expensive. (And it requires more crit gear compared to your typicall mace/axe and weapons mastery combo)
Which leaves me to the conclusion: Sever is useless :-)

I would aim for 500 ress all at least... This is crucial, fire walkers has no ress all (only 48 FR), some items have low ress all (chest helm shoulders). Also, what does yout crit chance look like? You should have at least 35% crit chance to be comfortable with the fury regain... Also, i would consider Nerves of steel before superstition.... your armor is kinda low!Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
And a quick pro tip: Go for rings with attack speed on, thats cheaper than crit chance, and it can roll maximum numbers, whereas crit chance is capped at 4.5..... Extra attacks means more hits from tornados means more life back from LoH!
Another tip, and this is something i see many ww barbs do wrong (dunno if you do it though). Do not overuse the whirlwind!!! Thats only there to apply better tornados from your sprint (ie when body blocked by mobs) and make you immune to knockback. Its the tornados that does the damage and its the ticks from the tornados that returns your life via the LoH! You will die if you constantly use whirlwind and thereby wasting your fury! Fury controll is key here!
