posted a message on Time to buff solo??

The issue is not how to find a group or clan. It's how extreme the disadvantage to play solo currently is.

Firstly solo play do not need to be more rewarding than multiplayer in any way.

There is a huge gap between making solo play more rewarding than multiplayer, and where this balance sits today.

Inheritly playing any games with friends offer a better experience than playing it by yourself for most players.

This alone is such a big factor, that multiplayer do not really need any other advantages or incentives to keep multiplayer the prefer mode in general.

But that's where Blizzard has fucked it up so badly, by adding way more incentives / rewards than needed to multiplayer.

XP gains, and loot sharing is the obvious carrots, but how a group simplifies the game when it starts to get difficult solo is what Blizzard should really consider.

The element of having 3 other players being targetted aswell, how mobs dont scale properly with number of players, how paradoxal support or zdps specs role is in a hack'n'slash game.

Blizzard should also really consider the reasons why some choose to play solo, why some actually enjoy playing the game as it was meant to be.

The ones who do not care about cheats/huds, "meta" or fanboying some youtubers / streamers.

Having the option to play solo when your friends is not available, with any spec or class you want.

Instead of having to get carried as a support since thats what they need for their circle-meta-jerk.

If just mutliplayer / soloplayer was balanced somewhat in regards of difficulty firstly,

it wouldn't feel as crippling to play solo, even if it yields abit less xp and loot.

posted a message on Fastest way to gear up alts?

Gearing up is so fast regardless, it usually just takes 2/3 days from a season start when everyone is fresh.

The fastest way to gear up = Play the game.

posted a message on Armory question

People managed fine without armory aswell not so long ago.

When 5 is not enough allready, it is kinda a problem you create for yourself.

And if you actually play alot, those characters would have had their own gems leveled, and no issue present with gem swapping between them.

posted a message on Solo vs group play

Id really like a solo-only mode like PoE. Having group play being vastly more rewarding is not really great for the game.

Playing with friends, is by itself more fun and is sufficient enough to keep multiplayer more desirable for most players.

Having option to play solo without giving up on alot of rewards would be much preferable to how this unbalance is today in D3.

posted a message on TH*d is back up and running

Not sure whats more stupid, advertising that this shait is available, or thanking for it...

Seriously people, coming to a fan site for a game to proclaim cheats for it makes no sense..

Go pay for some boost in WoW instead.

That is your opinion, my opinion is that it is very much needed...why is yours more valuable than mine did you pay more for the game ? I very much doubt that...

That Turbohud is a cheat is not an opinion. It is a fact. No 3.party applications are permitted.

An opinion is what you make out of it, but Turbohud always was and always will be a cheat. - It is no subjective point of view.

It shouldnt be different at all.

TH will tell you if its worth to stop and kill the nearby mobs or not - this benefit alone is gamebreaking vs the non-cheating players.

But as in diablo2 they had many banwaves of bots, before they came around and banned for maphack.

posted a message on Season 9 Meta

The Meta problem is indeed getting bigger and bigger by the seasons.

Which is probably what cause alot of players getting turned off, blizzard should indeed strive for better balance and solve this meta problem.

Running support or "zero dps" is just not giving the same feel of being a mighty nephalem slaughtering demons.

This feeling together with the loot hunt is what made Diablo games into what they are, remove both and the game feels alot different than it should.

    IMO.

Dude I got banned for maphack multiple times, as I've been gaming for decades.

Why should Maphack be bannable and not TurboHud ?

So what if my lingo isn't what the kids today use, what I wrote is just how it is.

I never claim there is any skill involved with or without, I just say that when no 3.rd part applications interacting with the game is permitted - TurboHud should be bannable.

If Blizzard choose to implement any of the similar "utilities" or "cheats", it won't change TurboHud from being what it is.

"GIT GUD SCRUBS" is only used by cheaters.

    TurboHud is no QoL.

It makes alot of various hidden information available to the cheater so they can abuse that information to make "better" choices.

Choices they would be unable to make without cheating to get the parameters they need.

The Maphack portion of TH alone should suffice for bans, and then there is heaps of additional cheats bundled along.

posted a message on 7 Reasons why Diablo 3 is still ...

There is alot of truth to it though, even if some try to be sarcastic.

Diablo 1&2 is in many ways responsible for the success of Diablo 3.

The realtime ARPG genre was set by Diablo, but the third itteration is not very original.

Sadly though D3 is also designed to cater for the Facebook generation and their need for instant gratification (drop rates, kadala, cube).

This has also happened several times in WoW with social media intergations, garrisnooze, classhalls, legendaries for all and so on.

    Quote from Bagstone
    1) The game has always been about killing monsters. That's the essence of Diablo, has always been, and still is.
Except they have forgotten this in the later seasons, where only 1 out of 4 players is actually doing the killing. Now for 75% of the players, they are reduced to "supporting" the one and only player doing the killing. So now we have 1 godly wiz, and the 3 boosted jesters dingling along.

posted a message on D3 following path of WoW?

In 40m naxx, Patchwerk was the first roadblock, a big DPS check, a guild with 10+ "slackers" could never pass him.

Thaddius was the second, which also had insane dps requirements, I think he is still the boss with highest HP ever, and back at the time the world server usually went fubar just by trying to handle all the stacking of buffs there. /1 got spammed with "wtf is happening" every time we was fighting him.

In AQ40 the later bosses (ouro, visc, twins & cthun) all required quite strong dps to handle the adds quickly enough to not get swarmed.

Every tank and DPS had to be on the ball to handle the spawning adds their group was designated, 1 add on the lose would wreck healers.

This coordination requirement was taken even further in naxx with bosses like Gothik, Loatheb, KT and 4H.

When they nerfed raidsize to 25, every single 40m high-end raider i know, all felt raiding got the "nerf".

We all knew the glory days of raiding was gone as the smaller scale raids (zg & aq20) never felt challenging or "epic" in any way compared to the 40m raids.

posted a message on D3 following path of WoW?

Naxx40 was actually that hard. I cleared it in world top25, and we did maybe tops 5-6 KT kills during vanilla. And the harder bosses really never felt "on farm".

You could maybe carry some people along for some bosses, but in general 5-15 is very far from the truth, the required individual coordination back then has been unmatched ever since.

The individual performance can be important in both smaller and big raids, but if 1 person dying is causing a wipe, it is harder to get 40 to stay alive in the same small place than 10, 20 or 25. It is then equally important to stay alive for both. Performance in sense of dps meters wasnt really an issue, as either you pulled your load, or you never got to be there in the first place.

The 40man coordination part was 1 of the factors, but how much dmg every ability (boss and trash) did relative to character hp was the big reason.

In comparison to wrath Naxx where you just outhealed most of the abilities, and most of the trash packs was removed..

Another big issue was the limited CT_raid and UI people where running back then, todays addons simplifies raiding significantly.

posted a message on Legendary Drop Rates are fine?

The droprates are fine, it is kadala and the cube that really kills the loot-hunt.
