Borderlands, mostly. I'm working through Playthrough 2 on my Siren before tackling the DLC.
Other than that, I've just been messing around in Minecraft and Terraria. I'm also half-heartedly working on achievements in Trine, though most of those only involve finding one or two more treasures per level.
I'm considering resubscribing to World of Warcraft for my multiplayer fix, but we'll see.

I'll second everything that Puttah has said.Posted in: General Discussion
I played Evony for quite awhile and, while it was fun at first, the problems far outshined the benefits. Besides, the advertisements are annoying as hell.

I've always loved this song since there are times it nicely sums up my feelings about the holidays.Posted in: General Discussion

Finally, I'm getting my hands on this game. I'm downloading it from Steam right now, and I can't wait to play it. I was going to wait until after Christmas, but Steam's having a sale on it today, so I grabbed it while I had the chance.Posted in: Other Games
If anyone's interested, the regular edition is 25% off for today only ($37 instead of $50).

I don't really listen to anything in particular. Most of the time, I just open up Pandora or some other internet radio site and listen to whatever happens to be playing.Posted in: Diablo II

I don't smoke. I'm pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke, so I couldn't smoke even if I wanted to.Posted in: General Discussion

Posted in: Other GamesQuote fromI can't believe no one has mentioned Eternal Darkness for gamecube. I had trouble sleeping for days...bleeding walls, hallucinations, the tv suddenly turning off, strange noises...I'm getting creeped out just thinking about it. Great game though
I had totally forgotten about that game. Thanks for bringing back the freaky memories!

Posted in: Other GamesQuote fromOrly? I just got the game a couple weeks ago. I started on Expert as I do with all games and I have to say it isnt as hard as cod4 or halo3 on expert. I always try to get around the witch but my goddamn teamates make it almost impossible to do. I think it's kinda lame that you can 1 shot a witch :(, takes all the challenge out of it.
Avoiding the Witch is sometimes the best thing to do on Expert, since she'll kill you in one hit. But, I have to admit, your method sounds pretty flashy and probably funny as hell to watch.
If you're going for a one-hit kill, just run right up next to her and aim at her head or torso. Use a shotgun though, because the other guns won't do the damage you need to kill her.
Alternatively, you can use a hunting rifle to hit her in the head from a distance. It'll stun her, and as long as you and your teammates keep firing, she'll be dead long before she reaches you. I prefer this method myself, since it makes the game a little more exciting.
Then again, you could always just set her on fire and run.

Posted in: Other GamesQuote fromNobody tought L4D was scary? There is nothing scarier than hearing a witch or a tank in expert imo. The game does have some funny parts that lighten the mood, it's not all serious like the Silent Hill games.
You're totally right. The first time I heard a Witch... well, I was torn between being scared and feeling sorry for her. I don't think she's as bad as she used to be, since the game's been out awhile and nearly everyone knows how to crown her.
Tanks by themselves aren't too bad though, as long as he's not on fire and everyone shoots at him. While there may be crossfire, unless your team is really hurting or there's a horde around, he's generally not too hard to deal with. I'll always be more wary of a Witch than a Tank.
