Cantor has some great advice. If you want a big dps boost then I would try to get a crit mempo and a crit nat's ring. I would also replace the mainhand with a sword. Spears are nice but too slow. I know my advice isn't for cheap gear but from what I saw those were your weakest items. Good luck with the upgrade!Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I thought they nerfed ball lightning a while ago to only hit once? I have noticed your issue as well and think it must be a bug.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

Here is a link to my character. I can farm mp10 solo pretty comfortably.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

It is hard to give advice when you have so little gold to work with. I definitely think your weakest gear is your bow and helm. I think a Mempo would really help dps and survivability, but they are really expensive. The same goes for a Manticore, but you also need ias for it to really be great. Unless you are willing to get much more gold any upgrade you get will only be a very minor one, unless you get lucky with crafting. Sorry for the pessimistic answer.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

Considering that you have no gear that gives you +max disc I would suggest getting a new quiver. I found a very nice upgrade that had 105 dex, 120 vit, +10 max disc, 8.0 crit chance, +9% elemental arrow damage, and a socket for 20 million. That was a few weeks ago so you can probably do much better now. If you really don't like disc then I would suggest getting rid of that mf ring. You should find one with dex, vit, crit chance, and crit damage. Good luck!Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

I got pretty lucky with a 2h bow with a socket and crit damage for 5 mil and 1.1k dps. It had no other significant stats, but it was a major increase in DPS. I think it is only possible to find these kind of cheap upgrades now because the market has been flooded with so much gear recently.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
I think 2h bows are the best cheap upgrades in my opinion. You will do higher damage with the slow firing 2h crossbows, but if you don't have very high critical chance it doesn't matter anyways. Sharpshooter will help until you can afford some crit chance gear, but I think bows give great survivability using gloom because you can hit so many more times. I currently use a manticore, but it was only my second 2h crossbow after making the transition from bows.

Manticore aint worth getting if it dont have dex and double socket, if your gonna spend that kind of coin, save up and get the best you possibly can, oh ya make sure the base crit damage is at least 80%.
If you get a good one you will be destroying everything. Good luck =)
p.s. also make sure it has at least 1045 damage
I have a manticore with one socket and it has 1259 damage per second. It was an upgrade for me from a 2h crossbow that had 1309 base damage with 75 crit damage and a socket. You don't have to have 2 sockets with a manticore to do massive damage. I have unbuffed damage of 141k.
I struggled the same way you did before upgrading to the Manticore. I had a bow with 1240 dps with 56 crit damage and a socket. I was pushing 1.90 attacks per second and had lots of fun. The only way to compensate for the slow fire of a Manticore is to start investing in attack speed gear. I have attack speed on everything except my bracers and i have 1.84 attacks per second. My bow also cost me 150 million which is the base price if you want anything that will last you a while.
You can find 2 socket Manticores for around 30 million but they will have terrible dps and most likely have intelligence or strength instead of dex and vit. Upgrading will be very expensive but I will tell you that you will not like having the 2h crossbow unless you invest in attack speed and critical chance gear. Good luck with whatever you decide!

I agree that +all res would definitely help you out. I also noticed that you don't have any gear with +discipline on it. That is crucial to staying alive and it is a pretty cheap fix. I found a pretty decent quiver on the AH for 400K. I would definitely recommend getting a new quiver and chest armor that have +discipline and hatred regen. +Elemental arrow damage and crit chance would also be nice but that really raises the price.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
I would also suggest using battle scars instead of backup plan with your preparation skill. This is really useful in staying alive when you can get 60% health back. I don't think backup plan is consistent enough to really be viable.
I also prefer 2h bows because of their percent damage bonus. Critical damage is nice but damage increase for every hit is much more useful in my opinion. I also think 2h crossbows look stupid, but that is a style preference, lol. Hope the advice helps!
P.S. I routinely farm act 3 and 4 without much issue and have beaten inferno multiple times.

I actually have 306 mf with my follower and I know someone who has 322. It is capped at 300 but Blizzard acknowledges themselves that this is happening. It is under the topic, "known issues with patch 1.0.4."

I definitely think that you need some resistance. I have about 400 resist all and 45k hp. I also do about 147K damage with sharpshooter and about 55K without it.(Don't have the cash to buy gear with critical chance right now so SS is a cheap alternative) I can solo up to act 4 inferno even though I still die on some difficult champ combinations.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
I know that it will be expensive to upgrade your character, but it is impossible to survive in inferno without resist all and vitality. I got frustrated with the glass cannon build a long time ago and have been a tank hybrid ever since. I have about 44 discipline and that really helps too. Sorry for the bad news but I don't see any other way for you to survive in act 3 or higher.
