Hi Guys, thank you all for the reply
I've been away for a few days and couldn't check your inputs.
@killerducks2: you are right about building around some gear with +%elemental dmg, be it lighting (i still got my WKL kept safe for the cyclones).I think you make a good valid point with the "Cyclone Strike + Lashing Tail Kick - Scorpion Sting you can get more DPS per spirit spent + has that permastun capability you seek." i tried it and it works great, however T5 and T6 in my current gear is a bit too much for the combo you suggest. The main point for using WoL is not the DPS, which was nerfed hard (as also Shinna1989correctly proves), but still ~400% damage is something. Even so, the CS + LTK with SS rune, is a disrupt to pull mobs and then a 1.5 seconds stun, which on elites is 0.5 stun, it's a very low amount of time especially when going on T5,T6.
WoL gives 4.5 seconds stun this is the main reason of using it, it gives you 1.5 seconds stun on elites. The main DPS of the build comes from the Palm, which in my opinion: 50% of mob max HP (the same for elites) can sometimes translate in milions if not tens of milions damage in a split seconds.
Also, many thanks for the 1 point in area damage hint, didn't know it and it works, the results are amazing
Finally, i agree with the power of SW with Cyclone, but i think this skill mainly shines when you got the time and you play around spamming your fast attacks from spirit generators, not many cyclones get spammed, when spamming only palm and bell. I'm just providing a different way of thinking, of building a high torment capable monk.
@Kolpo: i'm glad to see it helped a bit or at least brought a new ideea.
Personally i got bored of using the SW for so many months, and being stuck with only one way of thinking a build. So i'm just suggesting for any of you out there that might wanna try something new (which i also think is pretty powerfull), test your skill with your current gear and build on the highest torment where you never die and the try this build 2-3 torments above
Finally, i have tested this build with a 2h skorn with life on hit, it works almost just as good, and funny enough it improves the DPS, however it's riskier since the atack speed is so much lower that the spirit regen makes you unable to spam the bell + palm as often as dual wielding.

Hello everyone,Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
With the new patch, i thought about giving D3 another chance, and to be honest i'm loving it, not perfect but by god if only we had this 1 year ago
Anyway, monk has always been my first love, and even though i left Maya with a the cookie cutter build MP10 capable, this patch brought some items to make me wonder and some new challenges.
I farm easily and fast T3, doesn't matter much the build, however past T4 it becomes a struggle and the build becomes a bigger value in the ecuation.
I discovered last night a build with which and toghether with paying attention and good positioning i managed to clear fields of misery and weeping hollow with around 10 deaths, and 2 elite packs skipped. Again, my gear is far from suited for T6, however i think the build is worth sharing, since T4 is a walk in the park and T5 is a go place to be in.
it's not a fixed build, i built it around the needs, if you got better gear, you can actually improve it in terms of DPS.
1. wo100fists, this is just my personal prefference, i always loved hitting 100 times in a second you can change for whatever Spirit gen. skill you like.
2. exploding palm, this is a high burst and high spirit generator with the rune, i use this because the entire build revolves around perma stuning with the bell and the bell eats alot of spirit. apply this to 2-3 white mobs always and spam bell, cleans screens in a matter of seconds even on t6, unless ellites are present.
3. the buble, use it how you need, i use it to save my bum and also to reposition myself in the best place for spaming the bells.
4. the air ally is an instant 100 spirit for that bell spam and the 2 spirit regen help aswell.
5. the bell with stun, the aoe cc of this skill i think is OP, 4.5 seconds stun translate in arount 1.5 seconds on ellites, so timing the bells on 1.2, 1.4 seconds is going to keep you safe at all times.
6. the mantra, depending on your toughnes you can go for either the evasion + hard target rune one or the healing + ress, or if you are good on toughness even go for more dps mantras.
7. passive, exalted soul for that extra 100 max spirit and spirit regen i find it a must, the other 2 are at your choice depending on your toughness/dps.
I think this deserves a shot, play around it a bit and see it's power for yourselves.
Let me know if you find it any good yourselves.

Hey there,Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Just 2 days ago i helped a friend with gearing him from freshly dinging 60 with 15k dps, i used 140 mils and got him to 125k dps, 5k armour, 570 all ress and dual life steal, he's easily farming mp8 and most eficiently on mp7.
if you are already at 100k dps and got 200 mils i'm not sure you'll get to 200k dps but you shouldn't necesarily aim for 200kdps, instead aim a certain mp level farming eficiently, you could easily reach 200k dps with just improving weps, but with that dmg still in danger of not being able to farm eficiently over mp5-6.
On another note, i would like to invite you to a new, very friendly and very professional diablo 3 comunity, where budget builds and gear checks and ubber runs and everything are done between all the members of the comunity and everyone is helping each other. you will definetely find the best options and the best help there, just drop by and i'll help you myself if you want.

Hi Emoadin,Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
just checked up your barb, and my feedback is:
firstly, invest a couple of hours into demonic essence farming, get 50-80, the gloves and bracers must be upgraded: trifecta gloves and if lucky either vitality or all rezists on them would be great. Bracers, aim to craft, 230+ str, all rez 40 or vit again is a must + crit chance 5 or higher.
secondly, the mempo without crit chance is easily outed by a good andariel which is cheap or a 15-20 mils immortal, i would go for a 5.5 crit chance immortal helm with 220+ helm and either all rez or vit again.
3rd, if you keep the witching hour, which is a good decision, exchange the echoing fury, it's paper dps, you could get a better rare with crit dmg, socket, and life steal and 1100+ dps far cheaper than an echoing, and for mp8-9-10 dual life steal is becoming quite a must. (my suggestion is invest here 150-200 mils into a good rare weapon to exchange the echoing).
I would suggest you get an axe so you can benefit from both the sword and axe bonus from the passive, and keep the sword in main hand to benefit the tornadoes with the atack speed.
4th: On either the amulet or the ring get IAS aswell. since you are using the hellfire ring which doesn't give but crit chance and str, search for a 50-80 mils trifecta rare ring with strength or a good unity which grants average dmg + str + crit chance and atack speed. and if you go for this suggestion for the ring, upgrade the amulet to one with stats: 40+ average dmg, 49+ all rezists, crit chance over 8 and crit dmg over 60.
My suggested ring would go around 70-100 mils and amulet 70-110 mils.
If you are going for the immortal helm you'll have the immortal set bonus and be able then to go for ice climbers boots with higher str vit+ life% + all ress and socket
All in all for 500 mills i would do wonders on that barb
P.S. for ww build i would use the templar for the 12% fury generation skill and suit him up to give 25%+ magic find is easily done.
I hope this helps

Hey mate and welcome backPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Nope for paragorn farming a monk TR build on low MPs is the fastest.
Check out my bnet profile look at my second monk, you'll see the skills and core items needed. 4 inna, skorn, soj with spirit regen and TR crit chance or Bell crit chance if you use the bell,
TR with bell is awesome for mp2-5.
use the templar with spirit regen skill and you're off to go, start with low stat core items for build, start with mp0, 1 (you want to be as fast as possible, one shot white mobs, no more than 5-6 seconds on elites) then upgrade them as you farm and grow your resources of gold.
add me at zorgmeister#2199 if you want to talk more on this topic in game.

Hello allPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
i have to agree with
paragorning 3 heroes at a time having so far a worth of 250 mils xp, i don't feel like i should lose that just because blizz slipped a biggie and some folks took advantage of it, cheers to them and i hope they enjoy it at the best!
Talking about reasonable and mature adults here, if so, why on earth would you even care about who did what and all those horton heard a who?
In my view, all this comparison with what other's have and how they get their items is totally useless and only works in the favor of frustration and in the detriment of our own honest fun, yeah, beacause i can only see a game as an ocassion to have fun, to enjoy your time.
When a game gets on your nerves for any other reasons than the fact that it's too hard or you're having trouble to defeat the game it's not worth it anymore, we got jobs, politics, moms:D and whatnot for the frustration and problems.
So people found a bug? exploited?, got trills gazills of money? maybe the entire ah economy will suffer... (even so, not more than a little while), so what? that's them! and you are you i am i, your gaming experience has nothing to do with them, if you still think it does, then please don't call on arguments with mature and adults on a condescending tone towards blizzard as if they are a little silly kid that has done a badie.
You may come with the argument that, well but this also unbalances or affects my experience as i used rmah and my own money to pay for items. Still an invalid argument, it was your choice, they are still your items, i still can't see the connection to what others did, separate money, separate items and experience on their behalf.
Now, they had a major mistake, yes, game breaking? why? because 50-100-1000 players are now ubber geared as a result? really? is there a ladder on how much money, or what items you got? or a good pvp system to use those items? neah.
Now please excuse my tone in this post, i'm not usually like this, i just found the thread/post a bit exagerated and nonsensical.
So finally why don't we all just return to farming like a boss on the new awesome reworked zones, especially act1, gotta love act 1 now

Hello folks,Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
i just read this and remembered i always had a question in regards with guiding light passive:
- Guiding Light
- Damage bonus increased from 16% to 20%
What does direct heal actually mean? only that healing beam that we monks have? or does mantra of healing also proc this? which other skills do actually count on this?

LovelyPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
well yea cmww is a good mp8-10 build and it requires great items however if you want a startup black weaponm, i got an axe with 950 or some black dmg crit dmg on it and life steal, i could give you that at least i have no use of it anyway
finally, well i guess old habits die hard and you'll be a kickass wizz with 250+ dps in no time!
