yes, i used to be a diehard ww barb and understand the mechanics very well, now there a couple other builds i run at times. Anyways, yes, ef adds a ton for the ww spec, but if things are not grouped up, ur total dps is much lower.
as i havnt used an ef myself for long (was a 15%+ fear) i cannot say much about off hand chances with low% ect. but i can say whenever party members use it, i feel like the game got 10x more jaywilson on me and it pisses me off cuz monstors take forever to kill
I know what you are talking about my friends also had some low end ef with huge fear procs on MH. When combined all together it was a mess, but if u try it on OH u ll see the fear proc is much much lower. :)

ef are overhyped. the attackspeed affix is definetly OP but it is balanced by having "fear" on it
this affix makes the item worthelss. ur paper dps may be higher than x2 yellow axes, but when stuff is not clumped up/running from you, ur paper doll dps is not doign a thing. i dont put up with any ef's in my party. ill tell my friends (swap to a new wep or get out )
Well a good EF with low fear % used on offhand procs rarely, mine has 10% and i never had a fear prob. About the paper dps... well if u read my post above and u understand something about the tornado barb mechanics u ll see that its a very real damage boost.
PS: If u dont play tornado/ww spec then just ignore it since it doesnt apply to all specs

As everyone said the +attacks per second is what makes EF so powerful especially for a ww/tornado barb since it lowers the +increased attack speed you need to reach the tornado tick breakpoints.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
For example I use an EF on off-hand with +0.25 attacks per second and i reach 26 tornado ticks with 33% attack speed from gear.
If the weapon(mace) didnt have the +attack speed i would need 69% attack speed from gear to reach the same 26 tornado ticks.
To make it even more clear if i use a dagger in offhand instead of my EF with the same stats (min, max, str, crit dmg, socket) i will loose more than 10% real damage on mobs.
PS: I dont recommend using an EF on MH as a tornado barb since it has less min-max than a regular mace with the same damage cause its a faster weapon and MH min-max is what counts on tornado damage.
PS2: All numbers are calculated with a spreadsheet and are 100% accurate.

Seeing as you are only 3% attack speed away from your next sprint and WW breakpoint, you would either want to gain that 3% through gear, swap to enchantress, or drop a little of the attack speed for vit/ar/crit damage.
Enchantress gives +0.03 attacks per second not 3% IAS and its added to the +APS of weapons like echoing fury on the calculation formulas.
Where did you see he is 3% from next breakpoint?
According to my spreadsheet he is at 23 ticks on MH and 26 ticks on OH and he needs 15% attack speed to reach 26 on MH and 13% attack speed to reach 30 on OH while using Scoundrel.
With Enchantress he needs 11% attack speed to reach 26 on MH and 10% to reach 30 on OH.
So actually Scoundrel gives u more damage than Enchantress atm. (its only 1% as i see on spreadsheet but anyway :P)

10% crit is a straight damage boost so you have to take it on account when you loose it to gain a small fury regen, thats why i said i dont know if it worths it anymore.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Since the proc coefficient of the tornados has been nerfed from 20% to 8% the fury proc on tornado hit while mighty weapon is on mh is much lower now than before patch.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
So i dont know if loosing 10% crit to gain the extra fury worths it.
Now about the attack speed and the breakpoints you can read the following post http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4902400739.
You ll understand alot about how tornado works and that by gaining or loosing attack speed while not changing breakpoint gives u totaly ZERO damage on tornados.

As far as i know +elemental damage on SoJ (and in every item anyway), applies only to the physical damage done by your weapon. There is a blue post that explains that.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
If for example you have a weapon that has 100 physical damage and your SoJ adds 6% elemental damage, as fire for example, your weapon will do 100 physical damage + 6 damage as fire.

I ll have to agree with most ppl here, the full IK set is not worth it anymore, i have it also from prepatch and only use it when farming paragon at MP1 for the extra fury regen.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
On the other hand i find the 3 IK set bonus very good, especially at high MP levels. I use Head, Gloves,Chest and Belt at MP10 and i dont change the belt although i also have a witching hour (i use it in group play though). With the 3% life leech from belt and 3% from OH i can remove bloodthirst and use superstition (imo by far the best passive for high MP).
