Witching hour with dex vit and your chosen resistance and preferably high CHD
Natalias reflection with CC
I have HP on my pants 100+ instead of the resistance, but I'm pretty sure I have double resistance on one shoulders.
(I think you can get better EHP if you do thi, never calculated it ^^)
and keep crafting shoulders/bracers/nec until perfection rng op so it will probably take a while

try to get more HP, sell your ina's and get one with your chosen resist and you should easily find one with 170/170 dex vitPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I still have to get lucky on crafts :/ already spend so much on the bracers, just can't get one with all ress or chosen ress + vit and crit :'
And yeah I don't like your weapons, for your main hand, try to get a black weapon, with higher damage roll (sword or even a slower weapon)
You probably won't get one with dex, but a 1k with LS and CHD + socket should be way better.
EDIT : I farm MP7 with this, the gear I have is still pretty cheap, most things cost max 20~ mill, the weapons 60mil with dex I think 40mil without.

yeah you can potentially get a way better necless CC is mandatory, but preferably you have CHD / average damage / AS on it at well, everything else is a bonus.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
The nat reflection, try to look if you find one with CC and average damage, forget the AR and get your chosen resist on it ~ 40/50 will probably be better even with lower dex.
Personally I think a double res Nat boots would be better

You need Hp and dex on all your gear.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Even on lvl 51 you should easily get to 20 - 30k hp, res doens't matter to much on hell.
And like said, always take those 60+ weapons with dex (and or hp depends on your budget)

I would go for an ina's with ~180 dex/vit and lower all res or chosen res if you find a good onePosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
craft yourself an ammy with CC
trifecta gloves with preferably HP or chosen res
I'm still playing on budget most of the thing I bought are worth 10~20 mil max

I'm farming MP6 on budget http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Randompanda-2801/hero/24733820Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
get rid of that Skorn, take a 1h + a WKL one of them has to have LS, you will lower your paper DPS but at least you'll be able to farm way easier.

I don't know I just came back as well and I had no money when I came back, still playing really on budget but the spear mainhand is also something I had questions about : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Randompanda-2801/hero/24733820Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Personnaly I was looking for a sword but everything is so freaking expensive lol
With the setup I have now I don't have a feeling that my AS is to low.
If I understand it right the idea behind faster weapons is getting more spirit regen (more WOL = more Lifesteal) ?
I'm farming MP6 atm and the amount of spirit regen is maybe not great, but still good imo, and it looks to expensive for a guy like me to replace that spear without to much downtrade?

I started recently again and have a limited budget as well, what helped me going from A5 > A6 was to replace the XP gem in my helm by a life % one. Farming one act hire is worth way more XP then the gem can give youPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
other then that if you are dying to much, I think you should get rid of combination strike and the way of the hundred fist :
Here is my profile : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Randompanda-2801/hero/24733820

I came back to diablo recently, so I'm still playing a lot with my build, and personally I found Dashing Strike way more fun then ThunderclapPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
This is the build that I used : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#UegSdk!UYc!ZbYcba
Because I didn't like the lack of control you have with Thunder clap:
- you only move on the third hit
- you "have" to move on the third hit
- you have to select a target to move
- you can't chose a direction, where you want to move.
Obviously my gear still sucks, so I'm forced to use Serenity with Ascention and transedence to heal a bit more.
I have thought as well of using cyclone but I just don't like it. It cost more then WOL/empowered and does 3 times less damage.
It sounded fun before I tested it, to pull them all together and then smash then with one big burst to oblivion, but tbh I'd rather use 2 WOL and have one more free skill slot.
I would like to replace serenity by Breath of Heaven /Blazing wrath if my gear permits it.
I'm defenitly gone try out FoT Quickening, because spamming my WOL makes me goo oom ^^ (or oos sounds weird but w/e)

Thanks for the advice man!Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Just bought a slotted weapon with base crit and got back to 100k awesome
Your weapon looks GODLIKE lol how much time have you crafted weapons to get it?
40% damage 3% LS with 50 CHD and a socket o.o
Tbh I'm really afraid to craft lvl62 weapons
Right now I'm putting all my demonic essences into gloves, allas for the gloves luck is not my best friend, would love to have at least CC/CHD.
I finished the game with my new monk and am lvl 15,5 atm.
Leveling is still pretty fast and there is the bonus for the Diablo anniversary so I think I'll focus on XP runs atm, probably in A1 the new monster density looks awesome!
Quick questions :
1) killing white mobs generates more XP then killing elites right?
2) I can farm A1 on a higher MP (obviously) but what is the chance that I get lvl 63 legendary vs A3/A4 ?
