I have done the exact same just going from a 1.5 dagger to 1.4 sword and i can feel the difference. The runs was way more smooth with the dagger and the lifeleech/fury regen was more steady.
I've also made a post about my experience here

Thanks for the replysPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
After your feedback i went to the auction house and bought myself a new offhand which was slightly slower but had more damage
I did some testing with 2 different offhands and here is what i experienced
This offhand i have been using for a while and i feel pretty comfortable with it. The fury management is great and i can manage to keep up wrath of the beserker for longer periods between mob groups.
By equipping this weapon my DPS went up alot on the char sheet but i started to struggle more to keep my fury up when killing smaller packs and found myself bashing fury back up much more frequently then with my previous offhand. The damage did "feel" better and it felt like i was able to leech more life back when WW'ing through packs.
I am still a bit confused on where to go now. I would like to keep the 20k dps boost (perhaps a bit less because the sword has 100% CHD and dagger 90% CHD) i get from the sword but on the other hand it is less enjoyable to play with it because of the struggle to maintain high fury and WOTB
Do you guys have more advice to share on this topic?

Hi guysPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I was under the impression that fast offhand with good stats without much dps consideration was the way to go but now i start seeing more and more barbs with slower offhands (often mighty weapon).
Can anyone shed some light on this because its contradicting everything i thought i knew :/
I do pretty ok with my toon but like everyone else i am also seeking improvement.

Im going to comment @Drildgen since the 3 above me feels like its all about them and not about commenting on other peoples gear.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
So Drildgen... I want your gear! Everything looks very solid, only thing i would upgrade was your bracers for some crit lacunis for the ias and run speed. Generally i guess you suffer abit for having low attackspeed and with the slow offhand i assume you get few but strong tornado ticks? I like the Overpower Killing Spree, have to try that out myself also. Should be possble to sell the helm form 9% attack speed one with out suffering a big loss.

They are really awsome.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
I looted a pair on my wizard with 70 int on them and could see that it boosted my dps by 7k even without filling the sockets. And then you get movement speed on top of it.
I consider it near BIS for a wizard so i assume it would work just as good on WD

thanks alot for that. I tried it yesterday (only had to spend 500k on the hat and a string) and it workes wonders!Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Im abit afraid to invest more gold for a better storm crowl with socket as this might get nerfed but i plan to enjoy it while it lasts

I switched from venom hydra to arcane post patch and can now take down large packes much faster using blizzard and piercing orb and with cold blooded passive. But i think i will try with dropping blizzard and taking up frost hydra. Then i will gain a free skill slot but still keeping the cold blooded 20% dmg mod. Adding sparkflint to the mix might be worth it dps wisePosted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

Thanks alot! I will defenetly have a look at that.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
But what in the ias -> chc chd transition? My goal is to get as close to 100k dps as possible (if possible )

Hello guysPosted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
When they nerfed the ias i decided not to follow the masses and switch to crit/crit dmg.
It was a good strategy back then because i could buy all your imba ias gear at cheap prices and still maintain a reasonable amount of dps around 45k. So i got myself a set with ias/int/res all and high life regen and was able to solo all of inferno.
But yesterday i had a stroke of luck and was able to get my hands on a good 1hand with crit dmg on it.
Ive also gathered a good deal of gold and decided that now is my chance to try and get some really good dps.
Here is my current setup.
Can you guys help me with some pointers to what to upgrade in order to get the best amount of dps?
I still want to maintain a good amount of MF, res all and life regen and i am getting on the lowside health wise atm.
Thanks in advance!
