it wouldn't make sense to exclude weapons from that rule....so yeah, it will probably Count towards the cap
more interesting would be whether +APS Counts towards the cap (in a sense, +aps is nothing more then atk Speed put in a different Container)

we have no idea about moster powers (hp, dmg etc.) yet.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So simply judging from skill changes yields nothing.
I think they are smart enought not to overdo it again this time. I also don't think they will nerf xp/hour
As for loot...we are getting loot 2.0 if all, it will be much much faster than every before until we acctually FIND updates for our chars
They just want to add more deepth to the gameplay rather then "aw sreew that puddle of posion, i just Keep Standing in and heal myself up"

barbs get a new Talent. sword and board.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
with this it might become very competetive to use a shield. (since all other infinite resource Generators Kind of get nerfed to the ground)

lower mps first.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
i found king/maghda very easy
but for kulle/siegbreaker i wa sa friggn two hit, nerv wrecking ^^ so i choose to go down one mp
once you know alle the mechincs you can probably also do it on the same mp but i would reccomend going lower
edit: or find someone to carry you through mp10

as i mentioned in the other thread as well ^^ we still don't know anything about the greater picutre.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
if gameplay stays exactly like it is now, we might run into efficiencie issues compared to other classes, but barb will still be playable.
We allready know that gearing will Change completly let alone through loot 2.0 + come ros there might be a huge Adaption to the stat system. giving current crit % on gear for example it is just not possible to just let the stats scale up coz it would break the game (e.g. considering scaling up to 70 or maybe even 73 item lvls one could easyli reach 100% crit) so its a fair assumption that the stat System will get an overhaul and hopefully it won't just be as blend as to add diminishing Returns or hard caps to certain stats (thats one Thing i am hoping for)
In General loot 2.0 will open doors for dps gear with better ehp on it thus enabling to stay alive in higher mps.
next Thing i am hoping for is a General Adaption of playstyle. at the Moment everything is just rushed. if you stray away from the correct path in one Zone u loose a huge amount of efficiencie (xp/hr)
I want a System were you can go and pickup loot or open a friggn chest without beeing penailized too much. Or simply exploring the entire Zone rather than skipping som dead end parts and what not.
If that sort of gameplay is achieved the hunt for the best efficienct build isn't that important anymore, so we do not Need perma whril and sprint anymore (+ there might still be ways to achieve this sort of gameplay if you really like it, new SnB Talent can be used to fullfill the role of into the fray - yes it would force you to run with a shield, but ist not like we are not forced into anything at the Moment)
So basically i dream of a world where you can acctually Play around with all of the barb skills without beeing penalized to much for it (of course there will always be that Cookie cutter build, but all others don't Need to fall too much behind)
Boy did i love normal mode back in the day :P leap in a trout of mobs, ground stomp and pull everything towards you and just obliterate everything with one or two cleave /ruptures - just a giant blood explosion

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from Solmyr77Well, let's face it, the Barb is dead and we will never be happy again :QQ:
no Problem ^^ just give me all your gear and reroll to another class

1 vs 1 it still would be viable. You can block most spells, even ae, and with proper gear nowadays you can go up to like 50-60% block Chance with ease? (of cause they might nerf block Chance over all)Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
so you can have all the fun talents while still putting out good dps.
leap, Charge, rend, hota, frenzy/Smash/cleave/throw + battle rage or some defensive skill
plus you would be indestructable
I would proably go with weapon throw for those pescy Little fellas that always run away (of cause for effincency you could put sprint/Marathon in. but hey, i aint giving up my leap again...)
although the new hurricane rune might rock as well especially if Mobs still attack while beeing pulled towards you.... that would just be another Variation of the current build. run through all Mobs, collect a few, start hurricane non stop while sprinting through the Zone. Blocking will take care of resource Generation. damage might be a litte low but since you are invulnerable you can just drag them till the end of the Zone ^^

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from Zero(pS)As much as I like Diablo to be very action packed, I don't think they meant to be that much, with WW Barbs.
After playing a bit more slowly in the console, it pains to me the PC version in its current state, with a group of 4 people just sprinting like mad and running around, not even caring about small skirmishes or single monsters/chests/etc.
In my very humble opinion, D3 could use "some" slowing down
totally agree ^^ ist not fun this way. so i am acctually looking Forward to the changes.
But i assume there will be a lot of whining if they don't compensate for that otherwise (if it leads to half the xp/hour that we have now for e.g. ist a huge penality)

they might tweak something with the apoc and / or crit stats in General. (maybe diminishing returns like with ls)Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
cause giving current stat allocation crit Chance and arcane power reg would go completly of Charts
so that might reduce the potential use of this playstyle.

Monster squad formations and specific behaviours (all focusing one guy, spreading out to reduce AoE's effect, "heal" other monsters) would be awesome...Quote from Shad3slayerThat said, I do agree that combat could use a bit of an "overhaul". Overhaul might be a wrong word, what I mean is some different systems/ mechanics other than the flat +% dmg and +% life per monster power.
More varied enemies, additional systems for champions (like that Behaviour idea I saw around here a couple of days ago for example, or rare secondary affixes or something) and such. However considering combat is generally the strongest point of current Diablo 3 anyway, I'll be happy even if it remains completely the same, as long as they fix the other issues.
nah, ist a hackn n slash. don't take that away if you want smarter Monsters Play other games
or seperate it from the generel world ^^ sort of the adventure mode (was it adventure mode? forgot the proper title...). there smarter Monsters would fit in perfectly because then ist a real challange rather than stack more stats to defeat more waves.
