You did mp5 with 30k dps? Did it take you 5 minuters per elite?

Ok Firstly shields are pretty much unnecessary now. You can find cheap one handers fairly easy now.

I would be looking at 900+dps one handers with a socket and 2.5% Lifesteal to start off with.

Crafting would be amazing for you right now, so check out the Gloves/Bracers/Shoulders dexterity recipies (really cheap in the AH, heres a link with info about them)

Don't bother farming the recipies, they go for 5k each or cheaper in the auction house.

You can buy cheap mempo of twilight to upgrade your andarials. Just find one with your resist of choice, or armor if you are looking to get away from all resists.

For shoulders, If you need to save your demonic essences (new crafting reagent) for gloves and bracers, i would buy a cheap pair of Vile Ward

for the random rolls on it, aim for (p)resist/%life/vit. These can be very cheap if you arent looking for the highest roll possible.

Thats just to start you off.

If you want a better idea on how to gear, i normally check out the d3progress and look at the best geared monks and suss out what combinations of gear they are wearing and finding cheaper versions of the same stats.

If you want a quick reference you can have a look at my monk, im not the best geared but it can be a helpful guide on what slots to fill with what. My Shoulders/Bracers/Amulet/Gloves are all made from the crafting recipies.

Good luck, this should be helpful enough for you to start farming more effectively.

Act 3 still has the highest mob density, if you are looking for an easy high mob density run, look up the Alkaizer run.

I just read through this whole thread, it took me two days of not so productive work time.

At the start of this thread i would have labelled my self a god denier (someone who denies the existence of any god or higher power), but after some careful and well thought out posts made by Proletaria, I now consider myself an atheist (the same stance as Proletaria to avoid confusion and misinterpretation).

I just wanted to thank everyone for having this discussion, it was a real eye opener into the minds and psych of many religious positions.

I think if you are to take anything away from reading this thread, it is to question why you believe what you believe. Was it a logical conclusion? How can I know there is no god if there is no proof? How can i assume there is a god if we have no (empirical) proof? Why do I need to take a stance on either side of the fence? It really is OK to not know, and accept that.

I just wanted to let you to know Proletaria, that your thread had it's desired effect. Even if you were more or less aiming for someone on the other side of the fence.
