Why the comments about usefull sub lvl 70 weapons? Ofcourse low level weapons are useless. The equivalent of useful low level items are items dropped in low lvl rifts.. Which are EXACTLY the same as the ones dropped in high level rifts.
That's actually a problem I have with the game. A higher level rift should give BETTER gear than lower rifts. No, not a higher chance to get good gear but simply better gear. Then suddenly farming lvl 50-60 rifts isn't a waste of time compared to 42 speed farming.
Take the example from World of Warcraft.. How many people would farm the latest tier if Ragefire Chasm dropped the same gear.

Nilfur's obviously. Crown of the primus is severely overrated. You practically only get 10% attack speed as the other ones aren't really important (assuming you'd have the 15% damage anyway)

Optional survey good idea.
REQUIRED survey = bad idea. As soon as the game forces a survey on me I'll probably end up trolling the answers.

So how long until diablo 3 has some modable features :(?

Just give the option to downgrade materials.

For TR builds the TR offhand is too good and for arcane orb builds triumvirate is too good. For 2 handers it's pretty much firebirds or go home.
PS: With 2 handers I pretty much mean just Furnace.

My thoughts exactly

How do people manage to survive without force armor nor a defensive passive? Don't you pretty much die when something looks at you scary?
I tend to question how usefull that starpact meteor is. By casting it you drain your full AP meaning that the following TR procced meteor will not get the bonus, meaning that you effectively pay your full AP pool for a normal meteor (no bonus from AP).

Referring to pure progress builds. Non-season so unfortunately no twister pulls.

How does hydra damage hold up in dels/TR combo builds? Meaning to T&T and no fire damage on bracers? Would it be better to just run meteor shower?

I meant the build is not using the spell meteor itself.

Current build:
6 TR + 4 del (5+3+RORG)
Lightning signature (piercing orb)
Blizzard
Hydra
slowtime, arcane as highest +elemental damage
No meteors but that slowtime damage with the 600% from TR is hilarious

The idea was that I'm looking for ways to use meteor in my TR build. It feels such a waste of possibilities to not use a spell which you've got a minimum 100% bonus damage for (boots). Wouldn't an AP signature spell (e.g. the AP generating ones) + thundercrash meteor be better than calamity + lightning signature?

I've noticed that most TR builds that run meteor as a spell tend to use it to fill the arcane slot meaning starpact.
However, when you cast a starpact meteor (and eat up all your AP) don't you significantly reduce the damage of your TR procced meteor (which then procs with next to no AP)? Wouldn't it be much more effective to use thundercrash and the AP signature?

Hydra snapshots arcane dynamo but updates with TR Stacks.
For a beginner spec I'd recommend using the wicked wind hurricane thing as arcane spell. Or star pact meteor (quite nice because you are likely to have a ton of + meteor damage anyway).
The calamity spec is a bit different because it requires the use of the frost armor + ring to effecitvely stunlock your targets. While you can proc the TR stacks by teleporting to random locations, you are not able to proc the meteor like that since you have to actually hit something for that.
Also, when you're just starting to learn to spec you could try playing with another passive than Arcane Dynamo since it complicates your rotation a bit.

I know that Hydra updates on the go, not sure about blizzard though. Starpact is cast on high AP anyway.
