There is as much to do after you clear all the content as there was in D2. If that stuff isn't what you want, move on to a new game. Making posts crying about how bored you are is just sad.
Well for starters, you didn't hit 99 in a day or a few hours tops. The MF was more apparent and fulfilling. Trading took time as well and even included some people skills, so you could in a way level up in that aspect. PvP and all the gameplay modes that brought with it. The list goes on, for every 1 thing Diablo 3 does right, Diablo 2 does 2-3 more ha.

PvP in D2 consisted of assholes joining games, pvp flagging, then waypoint hopping until they found someone to stab in the back. That was content to you? At least in D3 we will be having arenas and formal PvP.
MF in D2 was apparent? Sure, after you farmed for 350 MF. But to say it isn't apparent in D3 is simply retarded and ignorant.
I hit max level in D2 in less than a week as I did in D3. Just because there was "more" levels in D2 doesn't mean it took longer, thats just your false perception.
As to trading in D2, it was hell. The AH is a much simpler means to get it done and there are still trade channels in D3 if you really want to find people to trade with.
So as to every single point you made, nostalgia does not = truth.
Itll be interesting to see what prices on items are. It is bad enough seeing how over priced items in the gold AH is. Can't wait to see some people try and get $50+ on garbage gear haha. Wish there was a way to see who is selling the items, so I can msg them and tell them how retarded they are.

Gotta say is amazin how hard and how different the game could be just with one life... Lets see if you can faceroll everything...
Also you have achievs to do if you like... and of course play the game. People play a game cause they enjoy the gameplay, the atmosphere, their characters. Take WoW for example (just for example) once you killed the last boss you keep playing for your friends, your character, for the game itself. Another examples? Chess, tennis, golf, pool... come on! those games are so simple but people keeps playing because their enjoy the play.
I guess people like you wants a challenge, you didn't enjoy the game, you beat the challenge and now what?... its over... at least for you.
Again its not possible to play hardcore from NZ, as I DC probably 5-6 times a session, without warning, or massive rubber-band lag.
It does look fun, and the tube videos where they die are hilarious. Wow is a very poor analogy, WoW actually has an end-game, which is hella-hard because it cannot be solo'd, which once you have on farm, there are other aspects of gameplay, PVP, Vanity etc...
Achieves is an option yes, but they are quite farmable & i've never been one of those achievement-whores I just don't get it its a cool bonus when you pull one off and it dings, kinda like levelling up, except the hardcore ones of course.
Don't confuse me with a hater, I love this game, its just... there's seemingly nothing to do... currently once you can farm ponies... theres no point to do anything else, even if you want to mix it up with different mobs, as they ilvl is uncomparable at the moment.

TL;DR : Diablo3 is a good hack and slash rpg game. That would entertain you for a while, but lacks replayability value and the story is boring, silly and lame.

OP: I can't agree more. A buddy of mine did this, then went back and played D2 for a few days before uninstalling it and reinstalling D3. Crybabies and nostalgia blinded fools will all come crawling back.
Stack INT and IAS as much as possible, only thing you can really do to reach those levels.
Personally I prefer to bypass IAS altogether and stack int as high as possible. IAS is good and all but the DPS it shows on your character sheet is false. The only time you will really get that DPS is when you can stand and spam, which isn't very often in inferno. I prefer to stack int, bypass IAS, get a slow 2 hander with huge damage and int. That way while I am kiting and shooting one spell here and there I get WAY more benefit out of it than if I were to have stacked IAS.
My Arcane Orb: Obliteration one shots packs of mobs in inferno when playing solo.

If you cant afford life on hit weapons look for weapons with sockets then drop the highest level amethyst you can into it.
As to how important LoH is, for melee it is very important. This game is brutal on melee and once you get into inferno you get raped non stop. Going into inferno with no life on hit is going to be rough.
