Step 1: Build a pinata designed to look like Treasure Goblins.
Step 2: Fill it with an assortment of goodies.
Step 3: Hide it somewhere in the house or yard.
Step 4: Have all party members hunt it out and smash it open Office Space style!
Step 5: Eat your loot!!!!

So I was looking at Diabloprogression.com and noticed there is a link for HP. I figured I would click it and see some WD's with like 90k hp and high DPS but I came across a something disturbing. Tons of players over 200k HP and a Barb with 311K HP. They almost all have DPS under 25k so I have to know, why would anyone in their right mind try and play like this? It would take forever to kill anything, granted you wouldn't die but still. Oh, did I mention this is NOT Hardcore?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Here is the link I was talking about.
Also while looking I found the most well rounder character I have ever seen.

Posted in: Lore & StorylineQuote from makaUhm....angels are supposed to be made of pure energy, not flesh and blood. If he is still and angel (albeit mortal), and not human, how come he has a human body?
I'd like to refer to Dogma to answer this one. If you haven't seen it, go watch it now. Great movie!!!

Posted in: Lore & StorylineQuote from Pacotezhe is a mortal
a mortal archangel
not a human
he still have his powers
Quote from Capitano666Quote from ChodaSo yeah, we see Tyrael willingly give up his place in Angiris council, and he falls down to Sanctuary becoming... human.
He never became human, he became mortal.
Mortal means he can die, nothing more. He is still an angel and, according to the closing cinematic, he remains mortal while he's back in heaven and he now stands as wisdom (instead of justice).

The only way Blizzard will be able to stop it is if we the players help. They would have to remove the RMAH entirely and the players would need to not buy gold from online retailers. If these people couldn't make money doing it, there would be no point to them doing it and the problem would go away.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
It has to have a profit for there to be a point. Therefor;
if Profit = Point then No Profit = No Point.
Stop the Duping: Occupy Sanctuary!!!

I'm glad to hear about all of the positive reasons for playing D3. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who enjoys it for what it is and not hate it for what it isn't.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I just posted this on the official forums but not everyone here reads them so I figured I would post it here too.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
If you do read the official forums, here is a link to the original post. Please answer there.
Why do you play. Let's keep this a positive thread and not belittle anyone for their reasons.
I play the game to have fun and unwind at the end of the day.
Since I don't allow quick join, I can play alone and "pause" the game when I need to stop to help my Wife with something or my 7 month old son wakes up, needs to be fed, or needs to be changed. This game is great for parents to play when they get a free moment.
I also get to play with some of the friends that I have made playing other games and keep in touch with them.
I've enjoyed the Diablo franchise since the original and actually played through 1 and 2 again just before 3 came out so I could get a story refresh. It's a great story line and it is still very enjoyable to play.
I enjoy it for what it is, a game.
