You can use sprint with Run like the Wind and just circle the boss or just tank it with Ignore Pain to generate fury. If you don't use Ignore Pain then just use that slot for fury generation
About using Sprint/RltW: Is it just a personal preference? Or do you think it's really that good? I've tried it for about 3-4 farm runs and I like Leap way better. Having a mechanic to escape basically every situation adds more utility than the +movespeed and cyclones I've found.
What are your thoughts on that?
Edit: Also I've found that using Leap makes handling your Fury easier than using Sprint. I've constantly run out of Fury when I used Sprint since you can never be sure to hit enough enemies/land enough critical hits to ensure enough Fury generation.
Using Leap adds another damage reduction cooldown for hard hitting and fast mobs and can generate huge amounts of Fury when jumping into a pack of enemies.
How does one kill Ghom? I'm having big trouble with him. I tried bursting him down, I tried going super defensive, but I just can't seem to kill him. Anyone got any tips or tricks? DPS is at 45k, HP at 30k and resist are all quite low.
E: btw, thanks for the thread JCLe, really an awesome spec, always hated the demigod Revenge.
Yesterday I barely killed Ghom after upping my dps to ~65k unbuffed with 20k hp and 150 AR glass cannon build.
I think you just need pure damage to have a shot against him with this build :/
Also try to kite him along the walls of the room while trying to let him put his poison clouds as close to each other as possible. That way you gain more time to hit him while not standing in poison (which can only be tanked with ignore pain up..)
I've tried out about every competitive build that is out there with gear worth about ~20m. I have to say the fastest and most fun spec is the ranged throwing spec. I kill elites way faster than you do in this video with worse gear.
Plus going ranged gives you so much opportunity to cut farming time by not having to run to every single mob and position yourself in a way you have to run the shortest possible paths.
Funny how many people still fail to realize that ranged Barb is actually a viable skill build and needs items like this. Sadly no str and pretty low %crit on it to make it insane
Hahaha, normally I'm not the kind of guy that's a pro at marketing, but what I did was this: I bought an Xbow 1.1 dps with socket and IAS for 6 Million Gold about 2 weeks ago. Sold it for 11 Million 2 days ago. Now all the idiots that think DH is unplayable due to NT nerf ditch their gear and everyone who still thinks DH is viable profits from it
