So like many people I'm sure decided to roll a crusader for seasons, now I've managed to get my set and RROG/bop and the season only condemn shield and this is letting me clear up to about GRIFT 29 (rng mobs have shafted me a few times and caused me to fail but I have cleared it)
Now the biggest issue I seem to be having is single target dps (aka the rift boss) he seems to take forever with my current gear/build, I can often clear the rift with a good 3-5minutes spare but the boss feels like he takes forever.
So I'm wondering if anybody can throw some advice/hints or what gear I should be spending shards on to improve my boss dps?
@Felk Late reply (been playing seasons) but thought I had better say thanks for clearing it up for me, appreciate it, the varying damage on what I was assuming was JUST the dot was confusing me but this makes sense.
Is someone able to explain (in somewhat simple terms as this set bonus confuses the crap out of me for some reason) what causes the dot ticks to vary so much when it's already stacked?
For example I just killed a t6 elite pack and the dot ticked for 42mil a couple times went upto 79mil for a tick then back to 53mil, I'm not using the +dmg on distance gem and nothing changed buff wise during the fight.
This set is basically the only thing keeping me on wiz but it's starting to confuse the heck out of me with it's almost unreliable damage and just wondering if it's something I'm doing wrong or what.
Edit: Just adding that I am not using audacity while trying to figure out the damage of the set for me.
NZ/Aus server automatically connects you if it detects you logging in from either of the places, if they were to put us into our own "pool" of users it would be fine for a while (mainly because we're so close to xpac release) but would die off very quickly so the way it's been done is fantastic.
If you invite somebody from the US they will connect to the Aus/NZ server...if someone from the US invites you to play you will again connect to the servers located in the US.
I know people will just say RNG is RNG (and it obviously is) but I swear something changed a couple days after the patch dropped....for the first few days I was seeing good loot (mainly useful legendarys that actually rolled decent)
Then suddenly zip zero zilch in terms of upgrades (and I am talking about a whole different character at 60 not the same character that had already got upgrades) and ever since it almost feels like vanilla loot where everything is just utter trash and instantly brim'd (when I actually manage to get one drop)
And it's not really to do with lack of playing since I entered patch at paragon 87 and I'm now 194, something for me at least changed a couple days after the patch and it's really got me not wanting to play ROS when for those first few days I was in love.
Trying to decide between a few bits of gear I'll use one example to show what has me stuck.
With one quiver I have 204k dps and 95k (with and without SS) and with another its 198k and 103k, I realise whats causing the differences obviously (it's crit on one quiver), but can't decide what one is going to benefit me more? Higher SS inflated dps gives me that burst at the start of a fight that lets me burn elites/bosses down quick but higher base dps is also handy?
Hope this makes sense and someone can throw me a bit of advice
I run alot of whimsy and have noticed that in general the drops are of a slightly lower quality (and get stiffed on yellows) so I don't think your imagining it!
But in saying that I have pulled a couple amazing drops out of it (1340dps xbow) but they are very rare, it's mostly just blues for me.

Why is there such a large gap between regions for the release? (It's really not that bad I know and at least it's not days or something really stupid)
