Im at 312% MF atm. Maybe i'll be able to drop 1 piece of MF gear for my AR set at lvl 1 ?
Looking forward to the change.

Agree with the moderator that claims need to be verified before jumping the gun, but several game media sites are running this gossip as breaking news, people who saw it unfold like a few angry people in this thread and myself, can verify it was a legit post. Much like the 10 bow AH hack a few weeks back, it sounds like a myth but those of you online when it happened, know it happened.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
In regards to the post, yea its bad-PR, but who cares?
My mum swears like a sailor, and after living in Aus for 3 years, I find it difficult not to break into curse words myself. Its bad language, its unprofessional, but its just a gaffe, he has several hilarious ones already online.
You probably woulda done the same thing, although maybe not if you were pulling his salary.
You can't belive this is real? Then don't check out the emails from the LIBOR scandals, people talk like ordinary people.
Even if this is an epicly succesful troll, 1.04 is so close... IMHO anything not 1.04 is old news already

I just think take a harder line on thread deraillers.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
And repeat topics should be redirected or merged with existing ones, even the D3 is broken topics, because, although negative, they prompt discussion, and thats what these boards are for. The people claiming this site used to be better are using the same "D2 rose tinted glasses logic" argument they spew out in every single one of these threads unprompted.
Totally agree I quit threads should be insta-deleted.
Theres a number of posters in this thread alone, who when disagree with a topic, don't jump in and discuss, they jump in and flame, and then 2 posts later they say close the thread its been derailed, and they are in here claiming its all QQ posts and they need to be closed.
Yet in this thread they are perfectly reasonable, and capable of intelligent discussion, I just wish they could bring this approach to all threads, even those with opinions they disagree with.
People need to accept some people love this game, others hate it and others think its ok. The threads reflect this in their content and diversity.

Theres like 4 people on the first page of this thread who say such succient things in this thread, but in other threads, they do exactly what they are decrying in this thread, attacking the poster, and generally just jump in straight down people's throats for disagreeing with them.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I mean the poll alone in this thread, its troll-tastic.
You either agree with the poll, or you are wrong, the wording alone, its troll 101.

The thing is, you could always have a goal in D2. Like, get more MF for my MF sorc, or more DPS gear for my PVPbowzon, or increase that DPS on my Javazon so she could grind all the way to 99.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
In D3, I got the MF cap, I got 90k dps with 800 AR. Thanks to AH, I got all the gear I needed in 3 months, instead of a year.
Err what now? Just farm gold to what? Farm gold? My gold is pushing 300 mil, and there's nothing to buy, why would I spent 200million on +10 int to a slot. I could buy more gear for my Barb, but what for? To do the same thing my wiz does, farm act3? Why?
And like the guy above said all the cool little things that kept farming from becoming a snorefest, like loot-pinata bosses, and horadic cube gambling, and leveling up all the way to 99.

People will just zerg in and go the article writer is a hater etc...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But there's so many people who feel like this... D3 is a great engine, but a very, very average game, with a very low difficulty.
Succeeded solely on the shoulders of D2, next patch will make finding a legendary much better, will wait to see if we feel the same way though re: gameplay.
Seems too early to judge, but so far, it hasn't been great for the majority of players it seems.

There's something going on with fire damage and resist. Even with 1k resist on my monk I die in less than 1 second crossing those fire barriers in Act 3 depths. Silly since you can completely ignore them in early acts or difficulties depending on your armor and resist(and you can even stand in them while killing elites!!). Seems to be the same case with molten and fire chains.
Pretty sure those fire grates are just intentional 1-2 shots, like the uber-attacks from some mobs.
