Even with all the flaws in this game I have really enjoyed and will continue to enjoy it. I do not play a lot of games but have played every Diablo release and this one is as fun as the previous. With PVP and more coming I am really looking forward to a long life for this game.
If you have specific instances that it is occurring then detail it in the official support forum with as much detail as possible. I am sure they are well aware of the issue but the more concrete evidence we can provide the more likely a fix will be implemented.
The problem with fan sites and other places is that they rely on estimates and user reports rather than concrete numbers. No one outside of Blizzard knows the truth about bow players are changing their play time.
That being said, there is naturally going to be a drop off in play time based on the nature of the game. It is not an mmorpg that has more to do in game than grinding loot and the re-playability is not that strong as of yet.
Couple that with people that are truly upset and have quit the game and you do have a recipe for a lot fewer people playing the game or not playing it as often.
This has been my biggest complaint about the game sine day 1. I also understand that random is random but certainly they could sent a range for the random or come conditions so that there is not so much dead gear.
People should state their class with their posts so that I do not have to assume that QQ is always from IAS Stacking Demon Hunters that are now just glass without as much cannon and that 1.03 supporters are monks and barbs that can not actually progress without spending millions on the AH.
I can see where the Demon Hunters would be upset but do you really think that your 50-80k dps was where it should be by stacking one stat? They announced this nerf a week or so ago and I am betting most people kept buying stuff that they new would get nerfed or should have known. If you are not following previews and blue posts in a game that is going to be changing quite a lot then shame on you.
I honestly have no sympathy for anyone that buys any item for $250.00. Sure, it might not be a hit to your pocketbook but nonetheless it is still a complete waste of money. While I support free market systems the prices on the RMAH are just stupid.
Different games, different platforms. I seriously doubt that you got banned for striking a nerve rather than your immature and offensive tone and language. As others have noted, if this is a first time offense then it is probably a suspension rather than a ban. If you were permanently banned from the forum then I am 100% sure that it was not your first offense.
I am in the same boat. I have found a few decent items to sell from Act 2 but have found that is is more profitable from a gold and item drop perspective to farm act 1 with 5 stacks. I had consistently been getting between 75k and 150k from gold and vendor items and getting some good stuff for AH (nothing amazing but a solid string of stuff that sold from 25k to 200k).
One thing that a lot of people are missing is the blue items that have a large amount of one stat and a large amount of resistance. Alone these pieces are lacking but when you par them with their complementary item you get halfway decent stats. For example (and I do not have the item names available):
Gloves: 140 vitality 60 Resist all
Belt: 200 Strength: 60 Resit all
Alone neither piece matches a good 3 or 4 stat rare item but together they are not half bad and can provide the stats you need to progress. I was able to pass along almost a full set of blue items to my friends barbarian (I know I should have sold them but friends > gold) and he was able to start pushing into Inferno much faster than I was.
Every piece you get does not have to be perfectly itemized on push Act1 and Act 2. Look at you overall set and the gear is not that hard to obtain either via drops or AH.
I just wonder if anyone got charge for sale tax because I purchased an item for $14.50 and got charge a sale tax of $1.20(which is Texas 8.25 sale tax)?

As previously mentioned, we’re going to be reviewing Legendary items in a future patch. Legendaries won’t change in 1.0.3, but it’s still something we’re actively working on. When we’re done, high level Legendaries should be flat out better than blue items, they’ll carry a good amount of power with them, and they should also be distinctive or memorable in the benefits they provide. We’ll be able to share more information on the specific changes we’re making after 1.0.3 launches.
ID now for the reason mentioned above. Also note that the buffs to legendary items will be AFTER the 1.03 patch. So this could still eb a month or more away. Prices should drop some now and more after 1.03 drops. I would not bother buying any unless it is a clear upgrade at a reasonable price.
