Its something i've been wondering too.
In my experience 5 stacks of Valor Buff gives + 75% MF en GF on bosses and mobs.
So i think it works equal on bosses and regular mobs.
'Normal' MF works on mobs and bosses.
I think many ppl are confused because a lot of farming strategies involve getting 5 stacks from elites and then go to a boss to get the best loot.
In my experience farming elites in act 4 Hell or Act 1 Inferno with 5 stacks and clear whole maps is even (or more) profitable but thats your own choice ofc :).
I hope this answer your question, but some other ppl might add something or correct me.

Hello all,Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I have two little questions:
First: When general chat was visible by default I noticed a lot of 'WTS' in trade. I always use AH but it seems that this is a nice way to reach a lot of ppl pretty fast... I wonder how you sell ingame items outside the AH? Do you make a cooperative game with someone and trade when clicking on each others icon or something else?
Second: I recently started using fellowers, they can be quite usefull in Act II hell :), when I use my templar mainly for healing, does he benefit the most from intelligence? When I use him for tanking does he then benefits the most from Dexterity/Vitality/Strength or is one stat always the best for all his abilities?
Thanks a lot for helping me out,
