Never seen Tyrael do much damage, not even before the nerf. Guess I kill everything too quickly. But then again, I was only in Nightmare when he got nerfed...

In inferno, he has hit for around 35k-40k damage, which was really neat. Now he does a mere 1.2k damage.

You are right that the problems lies within your low DPS.

I think the cheapest upgrade should be your chest slot. By this, you can easily gain 100+ str while improving both your resistances and life.

A better shield should also reduce your incoming damage enough so that you can equip a more offensive item in another slot (one of your rings for example).

Your weapon has nice defensive stats. Perhaps you are able to sell it for a decent amount of gold and invest it in a weapon with more DPS and a socket, so you can put a amethyst in it and keep some of your life on hit.

I don't consider it that great.

If you put a amethyst into the socket you get a decent amount of life, but the resistances are low and it lacks life on hit (strength would also be nice, but it's not as important as defensive stats).

I think you could get 500k if you're lucky, but probably less. But I don't really know the supply in the auction house right now, so it's hard to put a price on it.

First get a better shield with high block percentage and high resistances. After that, try to increase your damage (if you can afford a better weapon).

A general advise: don't try to get str/vit/res on all your items. Instead for example search for one item with high str/res and another one with vit/res, so the stats will be the same in total. By this, you will save a lot of money early on.

From what I can tell (can't enlarge the screenshot, so its rather tiny) your stats look quite balanced. You have only 36k hp, so I suggest you try to increase it. As a result you will receive higher healing from revenge and furious charge, this will help a lot.

The best magic shields are sacred shields (good base block) with max. +9 block chance and high resistances. Such a shield can have 29% chance to block I think.

posted a message on Block % and Block amount???
Block Amount is the amount of damage that is absorbed if you block a hit.

For example if you get hit by 5000 (after armor + resistance) and you have a Block Amount of 4000, you will only suffer 5000-4000=1000 damage if you block it.

So the important thing about block is, that it afflicts the damage after mitigation. A high chance to block and block amount are even better, if you are hit by multiple enemies.

Another example: 10 enemies, each hits for 5000
    without 0% block: 5000 * 10 = 50,000 damage suffered in total
    with 30% block and 4000 block amount: 5000 * 7 + (5000 - 4000) * 3 = 38,000 damage suffered in total

(a very simple example, but I think you get my point)

Your build is fine. So are your armor, resistances and life on hit. Neither do I think your damage is too low, although 17.5k dps WITH berserker rage aren't that great either. The main problem seems to be your low health points.

The healing of Furious Charge and Revenge rest upon your life, so the increased healing of those 2 skills should push you over the edge once you improve your health points.

You should also consider buying a sacred shield with resistances and +8 or 9 chance to block (i.e. up to 29% in total). Block will also greatly decrease the incoming damage.

posted a message on How I stack up in act3/4
As said previously, you should work on increasing your life, armor, and life on hit. A better weapon and a shield with a higher chance to block should also come in handy.

I didn't have any specific farming spots in act 2, but I always liked the oasis because of all the events/caves/champions that place has to offer.

From a quick look your defensive stats look amazing for act 2, but you have a low blocking percentage and 4000 Damage is _really_ low. Even if you loose some Life on Hit on your weapon you should upgrade it asap. Your life could be higher, but along with your other stats it should be sufficient.

What runes are you using with your skills? From what I can see, the skill selection should be ok. You could consider taking in pain supression for earthquake in my opinion.

I play solo about 95 per cent of the time and also use the enchantress as my follower.

Here is a screenshot of my stats. It's in german, but I think you will understand the stats nevertheless.

I recently bought a 25% stormshield and a 18% string, the damage reduce is noticible. In return, my resists and life points dropped a bit. I'm currently working on improving my life on hit rating as that is what I lack most.

Well, it's kinda hard to aim for armor specifically, but I suggest to be aware of the armor of an item you look at in the auction house. I would just say increasing your vit is the best and most reasonable way to do it.

Block is really a nice stat, but the items to get a high block percentage are really expensive (a decent Stormshield, Helm of Command, Lantern of Justice that is). You don't need those items to get through act 2. You should prioritize getting life on hit for now in my opinion.

Ok, let's take a look at your stats first.

Your armor seems really low for being fully buffed. You should be at least at 8.5k with those two buffs in my opinion. Your damage is also quite low. Your resistances on the other hand look really good. At the time I progressed through act 2 I had much less, like 450-500. Your life should be just fine for the moment.

Now to your build. It looks quite fine for me, I'm using most of the skills/runes myself.

I's hard to say what you should aim for next. Obviously, a better weapon would help a lot. Dead monsters deal no damage. :-) All in all I think your defensive stats should be sufficient for clearing act 2. In what situations exactly do you have your problems?

Edit: You should also try to get some items with life on hit, I am currently trying to increase that stat and I really regret for not doing so much earlier.

I'm using both shouts and I'm curious are the shouts like the shields on wizards? such as you can have only 1 up?
No, you can use both War Cry and Threatening Shout at the same time.

Right now I'm trying to reduce all damage by 20% for 15 seconds flat and give us MF bonus.
Then I picked up my shout to increase armor and give me a nice health regen which also I gain 1% of my max health from my passive when I use this as well.

I guess you want input regarding inferno difficulty. So lets look at your skill choices one by one.

    - Frenzy: Frenzy is the barbarian's best single target damage source. I personally don't really like life over time. In inferno, 6 seconds seems like forever as a melee. It is very likely that your health will drop from 100 to zero in a second, so the rune just doesn't provide that much survivability in my opinion. You also loose much damage potential by not picking Sidearm (great AoE damage) or Maniac.

    - Rend: I haven't used rend in any of my builds, so I can't say much about the skill.

    - Ignore Pain + Ignorance is bliss: Great skill/rune-combination, I love it. No need to say more.

    - Revenge + Provocation: Same as above. Revenge is really mandatory in Inferno and provides incredible heal. The rune increases its reliability, which is great.

    - War Cry + Invigorate: War Cry is a great skill, I highly recommend you use it in combination with Impunity. It increases your resistances by 50% and is also mandatory if you want to survive.

    - Threatening Shout + Grim Harvest: TS is a nice skill, but I have no place for it in my build. The rune is a waste, you really can't afford it in inferno difficulty.

    Passives:
If you want to beat act 2+ I highly recommend picking Tough As Nails, Superstition and Nerves Of Steel for the survivability. I guess relentless is also viable, but I don't use it.

Your build also lacks a skill for mobility. Leap and Furious Charge are both such skills. Leap + Iron Impact basically makes you invincible for 4 seconds after using it. FC + Dreadnought provides great heal at the same time. I currently use both of them and wouldn't want to miss a single one of them.

Well, that's just my opinion and others might disagree with me. I hope I could be of help for you and wish you good luck and much fun with your barbarian!

Edit: I'm using this build for progressing. Currently I'm in act 4 at Rakanoth.
