posted a message on Level 1-70; WORLD RECORD (2 hours 19 minutes)

dont get me wrong, im not trying to take anything from you guys.. but the lvl competition is just a bad case of rng, explination:

    1. conduit pylons
    2. Cains set
    3. Leorics signet
    4. rift density
    5. the beautifull rng of crafting for -lvl req weps.
    6. Character creation, im still baffled by the fact that they choose to do it this way, every time they release a new season ppl get stuck 5-10 mins in character creation.

and i could continue the list :) to make an example i got the seismic slam bracers at lvl 20 and used em to 70 - cause i was 1 shotting every mob on the way.. if we compare this to a person who diddnt get the "luck" with loot etc. he dosent stand a chance :) unless he had other rng such as a wast amount of conduit pylons/crafted wep with lower level req.

posted a message on [Debate] Cheating in D3? What is cheating and what is not?

after writing nearly a page og logics and arguments, i realised how silly it is to keep using time on this, and i deleted it all.. my personal oppinion wont change a thing, sadly :/ Even if i write a well constructed post with logics and counterarguments.

go play the game guys, enjoy it and have fun, in the end, what really matters is if you can face yourself in the mirror with dignity.

now some1 will probably tell me that the "top players" dont care, but thats not true, they know they have cheated, deep inside, weither or not they might admit it. However if you are a noncheating player, reaching the leaderboards, give urself a massive pad on the shoulder and remember this: no matter how many paragon levels or grift levels u where beaten with by non-legit players: u still won , cause in the end what really matters, if what we think of ourselfs, not the incredible amount of unfair things that happen in this world :)

my final 2 cents in the whole cheating debate.

best of luck to you all in the season, weither or not you cheat :)

posted a message on Streamer goes to sleep. Bots openly on stream.

am i the only one wondering how a para 1400+ have a full bag not used ;)?

and yes, a little joke in the darkness of the cheating discussions here on the forum :) (maybe its just me that has my entire bags filled with backup ancient legendaries, since i play hardcore, i guess its different on softcore since u never loose items :P)

on topic: I hope that a person (not pointing at this specific guy explicitly) gets a swift ban for streaming a bot, however at this point, its very unlikely to see any actions.

The question remains; will this be the continuation of how it ended with d2? The bots are getting smarter and smarter, and lets face it, this is just like the antivirus companies biggest problem; there will allways be more people trying to break/abuse the system, then there is people trying to fix it.

Sadly at this point, im thinking: yes... :(

    Quote from Horazon99go-next

Was the point in hardcore not to live on the edge? Damm i would probably fight mallets lords etc. and probably die often if i played hardcore. But no time for it sadly. 10/10 Video.

Hopefully you would only fight mallet lords once, and then learn from it :D

Topic of this post should be: How to greater rift :)

There is no difference in hardcore to softcore, when it comes to fishing for the perfect grift.

to OP, you made me smile, great video :D

posted a message on Playtime is NOT a proof for botting.

I think 1 % of the people botting, with extremely high paragon numbers, have children..

    source = none.

logic = if you play 15 hours a day, its very doubtfull you would even have a girlfriend (in some cases it might be so)

p.s if im dead wrong about this, i do appoligise, however i find it very unlikely.

p.s.s are we really so far out with theese topics now that we are speculating if some of the biggest "no-lifers" (no offense ment) have their children farming for them ? :/

posted a message on [Debate] Cheating in D3? What is cheating and what is not?

This are a complete joke Drahque, did u just start a topic about people cheating, when you just uploaded 2 videos, which showcase your own cheating to the extreme limit in terms of scripts/thud/site running COE timers...

I cant even believe you would start throwing accusations at others, when you in fact are one of the worst cheaters in this game, and every time some1 comments on it, they are either salty or w/e...

you have just dug ur own grave.. what a sad form of heaviour.. you are the main focus on this forum atm, and you choose to try to "create awareness" by pointing at others, and therefore removing the focus on yourself ? WOW..

copy paste from another post of drah's cheating 85 and 86 videos:
if only you just used turbohud, i took a deeper look at your video yday.. i was wrong about the 8 secs.. its 5 secs and of course that makes more sense for the focus/retraint uptime... when you reach the boss and your script starts the rotation at 8:56 => there is a perfect 5 sec loop on clicking both key for the rest of the encounter.. 8:56 - 9:01 - 9:06 - 9:11 - 9:16 and so on and on.... if you missed just one of em by a second or maybe diddnt hit both excact keys at the excact 5 sec timer every single time, i would believe you.. but u dont, and its the excact same in ALL your videos... coincidence? i think not..

not only is macroing not allowed, but furthermore using another program to click the keys for you is even more illegal..

p.s did you really just defend your cheating, but showcasing others cheating ? wow, talk about taking people down with you and lashing out at others, instead of being a man and admit your own cheating.. sigh

to anyone coming in here and watching this, ignore the THUD, its not the major point of this thread, its the script/program that drah is using thats the major issue here.. and i cant even start to comprehend the fact that u upload videos where its so obvious to see..

so bagstone, diablofans supports people who cheat?

No. Diablofans does not *support* people who cheat. Please not that moderation oftentimes means walking on a thin line, and I'm rather talking about our "video thread rules" rather than what you're thinking of. Basically, we created those rules as the Diablofans community asked for it, and we enforce them as the community continues to give us signs that are indicative of how they want those threads to be treated. Now, those are the rules about video threads, and this is why I merged his last few threads. In the past, there were oftentimes so many responses to his threads (and even upvotes) such that the community as a whole seemed to not be bothered by it, which is why by the time a moderator could have taken action it seemed against the community's interest to moderate it.

Now, what you ask is a different form of moderation - to act upon our rules regarding third party software. Note that what you provide is evidence, but not proof. I can very much understand your anger and it is nothing new that videos of high GR clears show extremely strong evidence of violations of the EULA. But there is no proof, and that is all that matters for us. It's similar to why Blizzard does not act (at least that's why I think) - they cannot act upon ToS violations based on evidence, but they need proof. And until that proof is there, Blizzard as well as forum moderators do need to be held by higher standards and cannot take action arbitrarily. Innocent until proven guilty. Yes, I can imagine how this sounds in your ears. INNOCENT? But note the important part here: "until proven guilty". We are not the judge, Blizzard is. In terms of third party programs, note that there are different ways of how Blizzard treated third party programs on their forums, and we loosely align our stance on Blizzard's in this case.

On a personal note: I would ask you to resolve your personal issues with Drahque via PM. You know exactly why he posts those videos: he wants more views. While at first it might be against our rules (and to a certain extent it is) I also told you why we allow the videos: there is a significant amount of people on our forums who want to see high GR content. In light of those aspects, your numerous posts in his threads do not help your case at all - on the contrary, they help him a lot and serve as free bumps.

I'd ask you to post further questions about moderation into a separate thread in the appropriate forum. Thank you.

I can also clearly relate to your side of the table, but diablofans has just been a part of a major anti cheating letter, so i presume its also time to review theese "rules" ? cause that thin line you are talking about, must have been crossed at least twice now with theese videos. it completely destroys diablofans integrity, when you on one side are clearly against botting.. but a program such as d3helper, shown in videos VERY CLEARLY, is fully allowed and dosent even recieve a lifted finger.

I guess i was just hoping we finally lifted the "cover" of cheating, and could talk openly about it, and make this forum a place people can go and NOT see that its okay to use theese programs. cause in reality, you are telling the community that its okay to use them, with this thread. its actively proving to the community that nothing will happen, even if u upload your videos to one of the most beloved diablosites.

There are plenty of videos on youtube etc, showcasing high grifting etc, without it being completely obvious that theese programs are running in the back... why cant theese be showcased, and videos and threads like this, closed down so the person dosent get more "views" ?

p.s my continious posting in this topic, (looking at the replies) has clearly shown that people do NOT like this form of videos where the uploader is cheating like hell.. and i will continue to talk about it, untill i see some action. on every single video he uploads, where i can see the d3helper running in the back or the script or w/e the fuck it is thats clicking 2 keys for him every 8 seconds.. to me it seems like politics, we are discussing crime, but the crime isnt being acted upon, cause the evidence i provice, dosent have sustainable proff, even though a completely new player, can see how its inhuman to hit theese 2 excact button every 8 excact seond.

so you openly admit to cheating.. well that settles it.. also its a massive joke to see ur 3 alts loot and identify shit legendaries every 5'th minute of the day... and this has nothing to do with u clicking thoose keys excactly every 8'th second (around that number)

i guess you must feel very scared that some1 openly talks about your cheating, since you kicked me from RIP, which u have nothing to do with anymore... you are a disgrace to this community..

so bagstone, diablofans supports people who cheat? isnt that kinda the opposite of what you just tried to achieve with ur participation in the "open letter" ?

unless you of course turn ur blind eye to the fact that the 85 grift perfectly shows there are 3'rd party software in the back ?

having a real hard time understanding how u can be a part of an "antibot" letter, only to completely neglect the obvious cheating in drah's videos on a forum where u are a moderator ?

p.s the 86 video also clearly displays macroing of action "1" and "3" as 1 button clicking both abilities, also against the rules... isnt it time to make a stand, and stop promoting this ?

posted a message on Open Letter against Botting

as i mentioned earlier, i support the letter, i just dont support how 20-30 ppl.. im not gonna explain this again, if u felt it was a personal attack the first time, i guess u will again.. but its a bit narrowminded that u say its a personal attack. You cannot make a statement and claim that thoose 20-30 people are the top players, its simply out of proportion, and the way the people who have signed it talk about them selfs as the "popular kids" makes me wanna puke. ├Łou have to expect people will react, and again judging by the topic in general, im NOT alone on this claim, i would actually be so frank to say we are a bigger part saying this was a bullshit way of doing it.

It has nothing to do with the personal animosities you so dearly claim it to be, it has something to do (again) with the way this was done. if you cant see this, then fair enough and i guess we just see things differently, but stating im doing the community a disservice because i voice my oppinion on the way u have adressed a sitation.. where u inadvertetly talked on my behalf as well, is just directly narrowminded.

posted a message on Open Letter against Botting

Acting like leaders, without the proper reinforcement of the leadership, will make the mob angry, sorry to say it Bagstone, and i would like to hear if u find my post "borderline".

Personally im pleased with the letter and the actions trying to be made against botters, But the way it was done, was the wrong way. Fair enough that a public petition would be against the rules of blizzard. But then make an open letter, where the community had the ability to sign it, instead of promoting the letter, like for example meathead mikhail did with saying "its basicly signed by all the popular people" and then hovering his mouse over his name. It wouldnt be to hard to open the d3cab.org site up for 2 weeks and say "hey, all that support this, go sign it" and then turn it in after the 2 weeks.

"as we purposely tried to get a wide variety of people." - excuse me bagstone, if u where a part of making this letter, and u wanted a wide variety of people signing it, why is it only signed by twitchstreamers or reddit admins, are the rest of us completely irrelevant ?

I still support the letter to the full extend, but i do NOT support the way 20-30 people are promoting them selfs as the "ONLY" people who go for leaderboards etc.

i cannot begin to fathom the ignorance in the letter to the rest of the community, its like we arent important or we dont belong in the top, and this it what makes me angry and made me loose respect for every single streamer, reddit admin or w/e unimportant role they have, who signed this. you are normal people like the rest of us.

sincerely a player who is pushing the top leaderboards on hardcore..

p.s where was my request to sign this shit ? i dont see 1 hardcore player on this letter ? all i see is softcore streamers - and i do believe with alle theese negative replies to the way it was handled, that we can conclude it was the wrong way, after all, i see more then 30 people in this topic talking about how poorly it was done. (only including streamers or reddit moderators)
