The skill is fine. The range is basically melee distance, so GL with that in Inferno after you pet dies in 10 seconds. The pathing on it needs to be fixed if anything, it's super awkward to use in hallways or anywhere that isn't wide open.
It's a build that can throw out good DPS for those 10 seconds or so while the mana regen voodoo abillity is also ticking. You can see he's just starting to go OOM as he kills him.
Against any elite inferno pack, you won't be able to do this as they will just own you pet, and then own you in 2 seconds.
